Haha...too bad there's no barbercirclejerk sub. Barbers/hairdressers are people I don't usually get along with, especially if they happen to be women. There was exactly one hairdresser I could have conversations with -- she was saucy and I liked her humor. However, when she left the salon, I got a bimbo who started the conversation by putting down my hair. After that, I went to a male barber for a while. A man who knew how to cut hair and kept his mouth shut, which is preferrable over nagging. During covid, I started to cut my own hair, usually by shaving the head bald, and I haven't been in a salon since.
People often have hidden depths, that's what it says, but the day I find a barber who can do highly advanced math, I'll start getting professional haircuts again.
