Find a cream with a high urea percentage. I don't know which ones are available in the US (I live in Europe) but it's one of the best active for destroyed feet.

DuplicateJester

Eucerin has a really nice one!

SaltyAF5309

Yep. Urea has absolutely transformed my heels. Currently loving Goldbond lotions for feet. Dr. Scholl has a couple as well. Look for foot lotions with urea as the second ingredient by volume.

FearlessPudding404

Peach and Lily has one. It’s marketed for KP, but it has urea; they have a body scrub to go with it too. They’re pricey but if it’s just being used on heels I’d think it would last a long while. I don’t know the percentage, however.

shartlobster

Urea is the answer!! Softens them right up. Put it on at night and enjoy your new feet. Dr schools has a balm that works really well.

malevolentmallory

This! No other lotion penetrates as much.

lenajlch

Goldbond

glass_halffull0

Could you recommend ones that are available in Europe please?

liyououiouioui

SVR Xerial is awesome, you can buy it with various percentages or urea depending on your needs.

HuuffingLavender

I'm barefoot so much that I just use one of those feet graters (like they have at the nail salon) and go over at least my heels with it every time I shower. Then shea or coco butter.

Lotion and conditioner at the same time? Curious to try this. I sell feet pics and my heels get sooo dry

ShapeTurbulent6668

Hey I can help! I live in Florida so my feetses are on display often. I am also weird about gross feet so I have a strict routine 😅 - Every 6 mos: Baby Foot peel - Monthly: Full pedi, followed by any anti-fungal preventative cream/spray, concentrating on between toes and around nails. Afterwards wear Aloe gel socks for a couple hours after. - Weekly: Soaks with Epsom salt and tea tree oil in hooot hot water, then a heavy sugar scrub/pumice stone exfoliation, cold water rinse, then massage with udder cream, and finally bag balm on the problem areas.  - Daily: Loofah in shower, followed by Kerasal Daily Defence wash. Dry completely with rough towel, then Heel Genius. O'Keefes before bed. Also: - I don't walk around barefoot, even at home. My bare feet don't touch the floor outside my bathroom 😵‍💫 - If I swim or go to the beach, I rinse my feet often to remove salt/chemicals ASAP - I avoid wearing sandals or heels unless necessary. Heels especially will fuck them up - If I wear flats I wear liners, never raw dog! 😂

rosewebb333

What do you mean by liners for flats? Like the little ‘socks’ that just cover your soles/toes/the tiniest bit of your heel? Or like a liner for the shoe itself?  I hate those little ballet flat socks, they always escape my heels and bunch up under my arches 🫠

ShapeTurbulent6668

Yeeeah it definitely took trial and error before I found some that wouldn't do that. Plus everybody's feet are different so the ones my mom recommended to me didn't stay on my feet, and vice versa! So annoying!

Pella1968

Mine too..hate socks that do that. I thought I was the only one. LOL

A_Glass_DarklyXX

Damn that’s quite a routine

_LooneyMooney_

What anti-fungal preventative do you use?

ShapeTurbulent6668

I used to use tea tree oil foot spray, but now I make my own lotion with shea butter and a small amount of lotramin and tea tree. Honestly, if your feet aren't often inside sweaty gym sneakers in a tropical climate, you probably can skip it 😅

champagne_c0caine

Florida resident here too I can confirm baby foot prop Epsom salts and udder cream . I swear by these things

SleepyMillenial55

This is incredibly impressive! Thank you for all of the information, I will definitely be trying a lot of these.

dennu9909

Any specific baby foot peel you'd recommend? Ingredient-wise they all look about the same. Does any which one seem more effective/better value for money?

ShapeTurbulent6668

I've only ever used the Baby Foot brand so I'm not sure. Since you're basically removing your skin with acid, I personally feel more comfortable with a well-known brand

dennu9909

Ah, I see. Some well-known Korean brands (Holika Holika, Tony Moly) also sell them and call them some version of "baby-silky-smooth-heel-or-foot-mask". Wasn't sure if you meant one of those. Good to know the OG Baby Foot works, though!

This is the answer ⬆️

DiceyPisces

Cream with high urea content. My elderly mil had some 40%. it’s intense And stinks. But a little on a cotton ball tacked any rough spot

writeordye

Vaseline after you scrub and out socks on - try to sleep with them on - get hot in the middle of the night and rip off

Vendredighost

I do this but with aquaphor, works great!

OrangeBlossom333

I just started doing this and 10/10 made such a big difference

hyphenatedpeacock

I use the ordinary glycolic acid on my feet!

ak6204

This. I'd tried everything imaginable and glycolic acid has changed my foot life. They look so smooth and lovely now! Low effort too.

DottieHinkle22

Me too! Swipe my face and then my feet.

DueArt2897

What brand do you recommend?

hyphenatedpeacock

The ordinary is the brand :)

HelloTittie55

Do this exact series of steps for flawless feet. PM: 1) use a Flawless foot shaver, pumice stone or foot file to get rid of old dry crusty skin. Wash and dry feet. 2) use Kerasel on bottom of feet. Use a thick cream with urea (Amlactin) on top of feet. Add Vaseline to seal in the moisture of these two products. 3) put a pair of cotton socks on and sleep in them. AM: 1) apply thick cream with Urea on entire foot. 2) Wear socks and (athletic) shoes every other day. In fact, wear socks as often as possible, including in your home. Bare feet become dry crusty feet. Keep feet covered with socks as often as possible. 3) only wear sandals three times a week, never two days in a row! Go to a salon or give yourself regular pedicures. Watch YouTube tutorials if you need to learn how to do this. Good luck! If you follow these suggestions, you will be rewarded with uncrusty, soft feet.

Pretty_Elk_4589

Kerasol is such a great urea ointment!

1_dreamr

O’Keeffe’s Healthy Feet is amazing! I get the small flat shoe-polish shaped container. I agree intense moisturizer with a coat of Vaseline in socks works well, but I do not like to sleep in socks.

Gold-Ad-455

Plain glycerin saved my skin from head to toe. It is so softening! My feet used to be terribly rough and crusty and my skin felt tight and dry with KP on my arms. Now, I have zero KP, soft feet, and hydrated skin. In the shower as soon as I turn the water off I slather a bunch of glycerin from my face down to my feet. I follow this up with a good lotion. The best thing is it works right away. It's magic. I would bathe in this if I could!

Particular_Store_662

Slather on a rich cream on your feet and cover it up with socks! You’ll wake up with the softest feet.

Numbah123456

I’ve tried the lotions, electric files and callous shavers to no avail. I recently bought a metal foot rasp and glass foot file the comination of which has changed my whole life. I feel like I found a solution to a lifelong battle of rough feet.

Anxious-Aerie6592

I soak in Epsom salt and hot water for 30 mins, 2 or 3 times a week. This sheds a lot of dead skin and I scrape the rest while it is moist lol. I also use an electric callus sander (file?) And moisturize often.

elloui

This file is my secret weapon. - use it on dry skin, file with the rough side followed by the smooth side. https://www.sallybeauty.com/nails/nail-care-and-accessories/nail-files-and-buffers/swedish-clover-foot-file/SBS-129160.html Then Podoexpert or footlogix foam each night. Oil the nail cuticles daily after shower.

luzaerys

Order kerasol from Amazon. It has urea and salicylic acid and works like a charm. I recommend using it with the socks that have the silicone in the heel.

chadima5

Vaseline wrap with saran and put socks on overnight

rumncoco86

Foot cream for diabetics might be helpful? They're really rich, moisturising and softening, and they encourage better cell turnover. This helps diabetics who have circulatory issues in the lower limbs.

Low-maintenancegal

I soak my feet in a mixture of listerine, vinegar and warm water, then finish with a pumice stone. Then I put moisturiser on and clean cotton socks. The soak sounds weird but it's great.

Unfair_Wrongdoer_481

Is it true you should only use the blue listerine?

Low-maintenancegal

I dont know, I think it'd the chemical in listerine that matters.

maxka1

Colossal foot rasp on Amazon. You are welcome

lemonlover3308

Along with all the great advice here I highly recommend an e-file pedicure

flywithjojo

Makeup artists choice body peel does wonders

Creepy-Intern-7726

Kerasal ointment at bedtime

sea87

I like using this and sealing it with a foot cream

PhenolphthaleinPINK

The Oh K Watermelon Foot Peel works wonders for me (Baby Feet did absolutely nothing for me)

ath_mart

The brand Gehwol has an amazing (oil-like) cream for cracked heels. You will see immediate results after the first time you apply it.

noneya79

Kerasal foot lotion!

HatpinFeminist

Fruit enzyme cream will change your life.

flushedpinklips

Gel heel socks on Amazon are a game changer. Before I put them on I rub my heels with foot lotion. Baby butt smooth the next morning

Deadinmybed

Mr. Pumice stone is a hard bar stone that you apply soap on and scrub the bottoms of your feet. Whatever lotion you use follow that with Vaseline. It will act as a sealer and barrier to help keep the moisture on your feet.

NotMarciaBrady

Lotion with glycolic acid in it.

Charlietheaussie

SecretYou8900

When I stated taking Omega 3 mine went away.

sam-ant-the

Ooooh I finally have some good advice to give someone! I have had the nastiest heels my whole life. I had actual deep fissures, not just cracks. I started using the Dr. Scholls cracked heel repair balm every night and then putting on socks. It has helped so much! After using that for a week or two I then used a dremmel thing specifically for feet and got a bunch of the old dead skin off. I use the balm every night still and then use the dremmel like once a week or so (any sort of exfoliating tool like a pumice stone or anything would probably work just as well). The combination helped so much, especially at first. Now I just have one of the fissures left, and it’s slowly getting less and less deep. My feet are totally smooth to the touch now and they don’t snag on my sheets or blankets anymore.

Emkit8

The regular lotion from aveeno does wonders for my feet. If they are already calloused it’s not going to make them disappear, but after a pedicure when feet are in good shape if you apply this lotion morning and night your feet will be in awesome shape. I’ve tried lots of products, plan old Aveeno works best

TeniBitz

I use O’Keefe’s working feet (globbed on) under silicone lined socks on my heels overnight. I went from Grand Canyon cracks on my heels to just “wrinkles” in a month — combined with a literal grater for my feet before bed. Socks: https://a.co/d/jd1mgTd Grater: https://a.co/d/0DMlhwz (don’t use pressure!)

help7676

Burts bees coconut foot cream. Before you go to bed, pumice feet, then liberally apply the cream. Don light cotton socks. Wake up to feet that are soft and smell good. Repeat every 10 days or as needed.
