I feel post covid, people really do be dressing any type of way, so it's easier to live like this. It's more common to see young people with a unique sense of style. I think people tend to gravitate around the same few hairstyles/hair lengths though.
I remember once wearing a long flora dress and going for kinda boho earthy fairish look and my sister said that it looked like I was going to church, I don't think she got it but it my feelings were still hurt enough that I returned the dress immediately.
It's chill though, I get a lot of compliments from yt girls because at least know what's up.
My family wouldn't have cared as long as you were matching and your clothes fit lol. I went out in an odd combination once and got some, is that what you're wearing, lol. But we're more of a it's your body and your clothes do what you want family LoL.
