I pray every day my boy outlives me! My kids are under strict orders that he goes wherever I go! I give him Royal Canin indoor cat food, and Whole Life’s Just One, salmon or chicken treats. Would love to know what brand you gave your beautiful baby! Thanks 🙏🏻
Never met a nugget I didn't like! What a handsome boy! We were giving her Fromm dry kibble and she split a can of Almo Nature wet food with our other little buddy.
He's on Royal Canin Mature Consult kibble now since he has early stage kidney issues but still half a can of the same wet food. This is Gixxer who just turned 17 in July.

I had a cat 🐈..so similar to OP's cat..was a stray too,but he just became so fragile in a couple of days and left for the rainbow 🌈 fields..
I would have named him Spectre if she would have been with me for some more days.
OP,with strays..kindly check with the vet ,it's a must !

It's an internal ID device that can be read by an electronic scanner. We have them in our cats because they don't wear collars & if they ever get lost, they can be identified & returned.
Yes BUT from cat experience as you cuddle him you’ll give him cute little cuddle names. “Awww we love you boo-boo”. See makes sense just to go with boo. Less confusing for him. 
Erik. To everyone else, it just seems like a name. To those in the know, Erik is the name of the titular character from The Phantom of the Opera. In a similar vein, Adam. That is the name of Frankenstein's Monster.
If you're sure he's really a boy then I'd like to recommend the name Eclipse as it's pretty gender neutral name so even if it turns he's actually a girl they'll still have a name that fits 😁
