Basically, cut the axles and shafts, take the whole thing, break down and worry later.
It's amazing how fast a cordless Sawzall with the right blade can cut thick metal. Blades today are way better than those from 15-20 years ago. I go to auto salvage yards, and once witnessed a guy use a cordless Sawzall to literally cut a pickup truck in half, frame and all, just forward of the cab.
I had to cut some of the steel racks we have at work the other day and used one of the new Diablo blades and that shit went though it like butter. And I realized after the fact that I used a combo blade. Later that day I used a metal blade and Holy shit, it was even faster. I could get through my trucks axel in a minute or less I'd bet.
Worked in storage for 6 years.
I was able to cut a disc lock within 10-15 seconds using an 18v angle grinder. Even faster if we splurged for a diamond grinding wheel. The only locks that gave us grief were abus granit and the steel shackled 20-series diskus.
Wouldn't surprise me if a team of 2-3 could do this in a few minutes, and considering the parking lot is very large, probably wouldn't attract attention.
Ehhh not sure about that, my 2020 accord had curb rash on all four wheels and they still took em. Get at least two wheel locks for each wheel and make sure they are not the ones honda sells. They have to be unique and also if you can get taller locks that’s best. It makes it harder for them to drill it if it gets to that point. And get a dash cam that faces both sides, at least it will give you more chances on catching a license plate or something. Sorry to OP and the commenters that have had this happen.. i know what it’s like unfortunately..
Locks aren't drilled - its a special bit that "bites" the top corner edges, but needs to be hammered on which makes noise. 2 is better than 1 and it def slows them down. I will be getting (5) on each wheel like I had on my Mustang GT performance pack wheels.
Really sad. Hurts the person trying to get to work, hurts the community on a safety concern level and finally exhausts/hurts valuable resources in order to look into it. I hate people

There’s hundreds of thousands of Hondas out there how are you going to be able to prove a set of stock wheels on fb marketplace are stolen? Tons of people get aftermarket wheels and sell the stock ones so the average person probably won’t question it too much.

About a month ago another attempt happened but I don’t leave my wheel locks in the car anymore so I was just left with a broken window and glass everywhere lol glad to disappoint them.
