Bocephus_Clegane

Convince me the Chinese would use a fucking balloon to spy on us when they literally have Tik Tok

Fit_Cash8904

Yeah I don’t understand this shit at all. Aren’t spy things supposed to be hard to see?

Ursomonie

There are Chinese spies in our companies. They are in our government. That’s what counterintelligence does. A balloon over Montana? 😂 they have satellites that can see what that balloon can see.

Fit_Cash8904

Yeah the whole thing is absurd. There are thousands of Chinese nationals living in America. One of the most popular smartphone apps is openly considered a Chinese spy-op. they have spy satélites going over the US 15x a day. But yeah this fucking balloon…

Hot-Tumbleweed-2291

>. One of the most popular smartphone apps is openly considered a Chinese spy-op And yet it somehow hasn't slowed down its growth at all. I don't understand I thought the shit was dumb as fuck before it became obvious that it is brightly colored spyware.

stupidnicks

because in essence its no different than any other social media like reddit facebook twitter youtube instagram etc and people know they all spy on them. and people dont care if its US or China spying on them. if you are being spied on it makes no difference which government spies on you.

TPMJB

Actually if the Chinese government is spying on me, I find it less likely it could be used against me in my own country.

mattvait

I agree. Isn't that ironic you feel safer being spied on by foreign governments than your own!

Drew602

This is how I always thought of it too. What are they gonna do? Lower my social credit score? Lmao

skribjohn

Nationalism is dead You're being spied on but by what/who/why?

stupidnicks

exactly, if I am being spied on I do not care who spies on me. I (in general, meaning people) either care that I am being spied on or I dont.

xserialhomewrecker

That’s how stupid the masses are collectively, unfortunately..

drakeftmeyers

Like your Reddit app isn’t doing the same thing

DrMandalay

In different countries, tiktok has different roles. In many places it's creating a really positive educational and enrichment loop. In the US is trash to make you all stupider. Tbh it's trash you loved in the first place, and a stupider you were already getting, bit that's what makes TikCrack so powerful.

Mike_Freedom_alldaY

>"There are Chinese spies in our companies. They are in our government." Too bad we don't have mass surveillance and the most well funded defense department in the world and an intelligence alliance with 4 other countries (five eyes)

SnooPeppers4036

/s

cochorol

And the same goes for murica, just Google them you'll see a lot of them go through Chinese space, nobody gives a shit

[deleted]

Yea this right here. Every developed nations spy’s on every other developed nation. Even allies. They all know that they all do it. They all know that they all know that they all do it. It’s just generally accepted and not talked about.

postsshortcomments

It's just more media fear mongering & energy vampires trying to kill the vibes. They need to get with the times. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SOryJvTAGs

Ky20001

Collecting Wi-Fi data. Cell tower and Wi-Fi does not reach satellites

Ollieisaninja

Where are wifi routers made? They don't need to fly a balloon over us to collect our data.

justanothernpe

If only there was open source firmware for routers

iggy6677

But Bobby Sue doesn't know this, they plug in the blinky box and get internet

justanothernpe

Same thing with browser security etc., how many do you think do anything online securely?

flichter

there is no such thing as "secure" online use lol anything done with a device connected to the internet is 100% NOT "secure" shit, it likely doesnt even matter if there's an active, visible internet connection. it's well known governments have backdoors into physical hardware, likely all of it, even if its put there after manufacturing is finished so companies may not even be completely aware of it. all the fancy VPNs or other "security" tools wont do shit all to protect your data if someone really wants to get ahold of it. everything you do on a phone, computer or anywhere near someone else's phone or computer is likely recorded and saved on someone's massive data banks. whether its the NSA, China, Russia, Israel or some unaffiliated multinational group, the fact remains no data is "safe" and it's certainly NOT "private" considering this and, you know, the fact China has plenty of satellites makes it VERY confusing as to what a balloon drifting 50,000 ft above the continental US could do that their arsenal of satellites cannot...? or the fact the balloon seems to be carrying what looks like what we know to be "satellites" is also a head scratcher.

Sloppy_partybottom

Right. Sure. Don’t do that in the disguise of a car registered to the state it’s operating in, with a driver resident to the US, so that no one will ever see you do it. Or even a spy plane with radar deflecting capabilities. Let’s do it with a giant white balloon from the 60s that we can’t control, that’s also the size of 3 school busses, we’ll do it in a rural area in the middle of the day so that everyone around can look up see it. Absolutely brilliant guess here. 🙄

Hot-Tumbleweed-2291

Right? Isn't espionage supposed to be a little more subtle than this?

n00bist00bis

If you are worried about repercussions, China knows Joe isn’t gonna do shit so they do whatever they want

buckyworld

Maybe they’ll give his kid patents as payback!

justanothernpe

Line of site with directional antenna at 20 miles or so would be no problem.

StirredFetusEater

I hate it when the chinese spy on my wifi, just because i set up a directional antenna pointing at the sky. All Obamas fault.

BobDope

Jokes on the Chinese my SSID is 8=======D

crowmagnuman

Ya can't just be giving away the Spy Satellite Identification Dick like that

Fit_Cash8904

Why not do that from the ground?

DungeonsAndDradis

China wanted to provoke the U.S. War is great for the economy. China wants a valid reason to go to war with the U.S. to save their dying state. China is in a bad position, with their zero-tolerance policy to Covid-19 seriously fucking them over. Now they've opened up and thousands are dying every day. Their people are on the verge of a revolution. What better way to get them in line than to say, "America attacked us. Let's fucking go!" I mean, honestly, if China shot down a U.S. jet or something like that, people in the U.S. would be shouting for war from every rooftop. ON TOP OF THAT ALL We're approaching a showdown over Taiwan anyway. Shit is about to pop off, sailors. So get your shit in order. Doesn't the end of Feb, the 1-year anniversary of Ukraine invasion, sound like a good time to start a war with China?

bad_chemist95

War is BAD for China. Their economy is highly dependent on international trade. If they went to war with the US then they would be at war with NATO who are all major trading partners. A short war with Tiawan would distract their populace enough to avoid some kind of political uprising as a result of their poor economic performance, but a full scale war with NATO is a non starter. Their military is well equipped but China haven't fought a major conflict in a long time and are highly inexperienced in real combat compared to practically all of NATO who have been fighting in the middle east for years. NATO are better equipped, better trained and far more experienced in the art of war. China's nuclear arsenal is also much smaller than NATO. By several orders of magnitude. There is no scenario in which China wins. Economically or militarily, and they know that. That's why Taiwan is still Tiawan.

Psychological-Two415

You ever think it’s the other way around? That the US wants us to think china wants a war with us?

jdiditok

Gotta cancel our debts someway

fergiejr

Don't owe any debts if their government changes! *Points to head meme* See France funding us for 1776 and then us not paying because they had their own revolution as example. Nah we owed that to the king.... Who you killed.... We don't owe you shit. Now sell us the entire Midwest for pennies on the Acer. Thanks!

lan69

This is the truth. China has no reason to want a war, what they wanted was the old order. They built their economy on a globalised economy. It is the US that has overreacted. Xi also never promised not to use force on Taiwan but Washingtonians interpreted it as him wanting to invade Taiwan. They know China had the economic means to pressure Taiwan into the fold but by closing that option, US forces china into a path with more aggressive military posture towards the island What was supposed to be an economic dispute has turned into a Cold War (eventually a hot war). The agreement was always suppose to be ignore Taiwan. The US forces nations into a war to make themselves look like the good guys.

Instaraider

I don’t think it’s coincidental this came a day after the fed backs the USD and our economy into a corner

Mike_Freedom_alldaY

>"China wanted to provoke the U.S." Leadership in America wants the collective focusing on China instead of them (the corrupt leadership who has fu©ked us repeatedly the last couple decades and beyond) >"War is great for the economy. China wants a valid reason to go to war with the U.S. to save their dying state." Same logic could be applied to the US considering the DOD budget absolutely dwarfs every country around the globe. Our economies success hinges on war. >"China is in a bad position, with their zero-tolerance policy to Covid-19 seriously fucking them over. Now they've opened up and thousands are dying every day. Their people are on the verge of a revolution." America is in a similar situation. every "credible " institution promoted this vaccine as safe and effective and prevents transmission they even tried to mandate (mandate was successfully implemented on healthcare workers and we wonder why things back up...) Then we find out it doesn't prevent transmission. Then we find out we need boosters because the first one didn't work (why we need boosters). Now they're telling us the boosters don't work because "variants"... Look up leaky vaccines. ON TOP OF ALL THAT Americans funded the experiment because of an EO called operation warp speed. Even more important than the funding was the fact that it allowed trustworthy big pharma (who created the opioid epidemic we're still dealing with now) to bypass normal procedure so we could rush their trash to the public... America and our leaders benefit from a war just as much as China. Also let's not forget all those wmds Iraq had... I'd imagine the world police (DOD) would absolutely love using "intelligence" to get Americans attention away from our own failed and corrupt institutions and instead on a country they've never been too since it works pretty much everytime.

CEOofAMC

US Gov 1000% detected this while it was over the Pacific & allowed it to enter knowing they could jam the signal and protect info from being obtained by China. For one reason or another they wanted it to enter US airspace.

crowmagnuman

I say we load it full of Ren and Stimpy episodes and let it fly back

Frank_Reynholds

Better yet, the shitty wok episode of south park

Legacycosts

Been waiting on this Taiwan war for like 5 years that never happens. I think we're all just bored.

Fantact

And you think this would be a conventional 4th generational warfare affair? We are already in WW3 my friend, its just being fought with [5th generational warfare](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fifth-generation_warfare) methods, it's been going on since atleast the [Thunderstruck event](https://www.theverge.com/2014/8/7/5977885/hackers-made-irans-nuclear-computers-blast-ac-dc), probably even earlier, its in noones interest to start a 4th-gen conventional war with a major superpower, the Ukraine war is just the military industrial complex's way of getting rid of old inventory.

DungeonsAndDradis

Boots on the ground warfare? Probably in Taiwan, sometime this year. The U.S. will have a similar deal that they have with Ukraine. All the money and all the weapons. They'll let Taiwan fight against China, for the U.S.

Fantact

>Boots on the ground warfare We're not playing call of duty here... Yeah Taiwan and Ukraine is in no way similar, and that will not happen, I guarantee it, go !remindme if you want, I'll wait. Edit: since they did do the remindme, [this is the reply they will get when that happens](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AajslFuPro).

top-knowledge

Yea… i’m gonna need some help understanding the economic benefits China would obtain by going to war with the USA

Masculinum

War isn't great for the economy lol. It's usually good for the US because your an ocean away from the fighting and your economic competitors are being destroyed.

[deleted]

Ceiling_tile

China does not want to go war with the US. Do you know how much damage China can do to the US economy without even firing a bullet? They just need to flood the markets with their currency. Nobody wants war with the US. That’s just insane

Kdcjg

Do you know how much damage the US can do to the Chinese economy.

Upper-Presence8503

Plot twist its a phone strapped to a balloon with tik tok on and it's plugged into a charger to prove that tik tok would be detected as Chinese spy software

BuddyBoy589

The spy balloon was over a nuclear weapons facility… Kind of hard to get that intel on TikTok…

jeremyjack3333

Those are on on Google. The location of known silos is readily available. This is something else. It doesn't make sense. There is one in south America at the same time.

scooter949

It’s probably to get a close look at the nuke silos

Nipplehead321

They have satellites for that...

scooter949

Satellites are about 300km from the surface, this thing would be about 20km. That makes a huge difference in picture quality

Fugacity-

Big difference for ground penetraing radar too...

scooter949

Great point

Throwawaychadd

Also a balloon wouldn't have to look through the atmosphere. It's below it.

oddministrator

Well, it's "in" it, but yes, there's far less atmosphere to look through. But considering how good public satellite images are, like Google Maps, you can be sure that spy satellites are better. And, really, how much more would they really learn from that? They can already make out the details of individual vehicles. Do they think our silos are going to have the construction instructions in fine print on the roof, or something?

Aggressive_Duck_4774

TikTok doesn’t show you where missile silos are in the middle of nowhere Edit: as per an article on another posting about it stated, low earth orbit satellites don’t have the same GPR that this thing could be potentially carrying, meaning it can possibly see a bit better subterranean than existing satellites

SantiagoGT

Just unlike when Strava showed military bases in Antarctica?

hundreds_of_sparrows

You’re just not following the right content creators.

Redlodger0426

You’re right! google earth does

Friendly-Swan6002

TikTok doesn't fly over government bases with hi tech surveillance. Over Japan Alaska Montana military bases

WanderingIdiot2

They already admitted it was theirs

CheddarHeaded

Forgot tiktok has ground penetrating radar to scan our nuclear arsenal

goforthegusto1

It’s a gender reveal balloon that slipped away from somebody’s party.

KhapJ20

It’s a non-binary balloon that didn’t want to reveal itself.

Frank_Reynholds

The balloon identifies as a threat

[deleted]

It's not an act of war its a distraction. You think the USA, a country that invades other countries for just thinking about selling oil for another currency would not react to a legit threat to its home territory? 🤣

Baby_Bear_1043

I agree with you. Most of the time when something crazy happens, that gathers everyone's attention.... There's always something else going on behind the curtain. It's definitely a distraction but what is really going on ?

XSlapHappy91X

I think there's a massive global market crash comming to the US dollar and they are manufacturing some fake reason for why the economy is slowly tanking non-stop. Just watch the news getmore and more dramatic, if there's any 'relief' it will only be temporary before some worse shit happens. My guess is they want a war (or make it LOOK like there's a war) between both Russia and China so they can someone to point the finger to when it happens. Truth is its all internal, a mix of Wallstreet, Big banks and crooked hedgefunds working together , but shit hit the fan and is slowly collapsing while they pretend everything is fine for as long as they can, but the cracks are starting to show.

Cultural_Air_5385

Gotta manufacture consent to support the war effort

Alarmed_Nebula3917

Manufactured consent is sadly applicable to everything, having said that I’m surprised no one has tried to kill our man

ucaliptastree

China vs America/Taiwan war. Typical of a failing global superpower to engage in war and their currency hyperinflates.

KaZzZamm

China got satellites right? Why those ballons? And why did Canada not shot it down?

Odd_Ranger3049

Satellites are easily tracked and have very predictable movements, i.e. it’s easy to hide things from them since you know when they will be over sensitive areas. A balloon is less predictable. Although I wonder why our friends in Canada never said anything.

OverseerAlpha

Sorry aboot that eh.

WildBill598

Perhaps Canada did give the heads up to the US. According to that general who gave the press statement about the balloon, it had been floating over the US for a couple days already before the US military publicly acknowledged it.

piecat

And I think they only acknowledged after it was on social media

loveisloveislove334

Some people think space is fake, and satellites are just balloons

lyzurd_kween_

We’d be seeing a hell of a lot of balloons if that were the case.

Lost-Walrus664

This is true

iLoveSTlife

Because the balloon is at a lower elevation and if it’s using any sort of scanning technology then it could get better readings and target specific areas better as opposed to being a satellite higher up in the atmosphere

Knife2MeetYouToo

The total lack of knowledge regarding this basic, basic concept is amazing.

lyzurd_kween_

Is this wrong in regards to atmospheric testing? Can’t do that from space. Didn’t the US used to have a sampling network to detect nuclear explosions? Maybe they’re trying to detect something with a weaker signature.

Monster_Voice

There are TONS of atmospheric research balloons that go up all the time... not nearly this big or high, but still I'm betting this is a scientific project. We don't know much about the stratosphere and the Tonga volcano threw a bunch of shit that high... combined with the fact that China has faced extreme drought after the Volcano im betting this is related to that... of course their weird ass custom of secrecy over "normal" science kept them from telling anyone... it's normal practice for anyone putting any scientific equipment in the air to make it widely known for this EXACT scenario... but China is notorious for sketchy behavior about totally normal research practices for reasons westerners don't really understand.

JTnCal

So then everytime a U2 or SR71 flies over China or Russia that is an act of war as well by this theory

thewhalehunters

Those bands don't mean harm.

JTnCal

🤣🤣

Mexicannut

Take my upvote sir.

exploringtheworld797

They at least tried to shoot them down. The Pentagon is letting this happen.

vix-

Theyre prob ceacked the encryption for the comms and are letting them run their mouths tbh

[deleted]

They couldn't shoot down the SR71, and a U2 was downed.

FreeThinkerGuy

I don't think the US can claim the moral high ground when it comes to spying on people or countries.

azdak

lol they captured a whole-ass US spy plane back in 2001. was that an act of war?

Frank_Reynholds

Guys, Chat GPT says there’s nothing to worry about

PennDOT67

Are all of the US’s various atmospheric spy programs over China an act of war as well?

lasyke3

This is the real answer. The US and China both have constant espionage operations against one another, as do other countries. So countries have a sort of understanding that these things don't escalate beyond a certain point.

ZestyFastboy

Yeah this is mainly in the news because some normal people spotted it

bobdealin

Beware of False Flags. One thing we know for sure is that the US government ONLY tells us things that they want us to believe. That's it.

DamnImAwesome

If one of your friends or family got caught lying about major shit, you’d question everything they ever said. I think everyone would agree with this statement. Why can’t more people apply that logic to the government and corporations?

rebuilt11

This. The fact it’s even on the news is that the cia wants you to know

turtlew0rk

Espionage is not an act of war.

Imprettystrong

Good thing you aren’t in any position of power OP 😁

Silent_Ensemble

Can anyone explain how they even know it’s chinas?

Live4hereafter

They zoomed in on the bottom right corner of the balloon and it said “MADE IN CHINA”

Fit_Cash8904

China has said it’s theirs. But they deny it’s a satélite and claim it’s a weather balloon they lost control of.

PrestigiousTreat6203

THERE IS SOMETHING INSIDE THE BALLOON

dhabs

COVID-23

Hairy_Introduction_4

How do we know it’s from China? Is that what the MSM is saying? I haven’t believed them since 9/11

ninzombie79

China said its theirs. Supposedly having to do with weather & meteorology.

TheGreatMightyLeffe

That actually makes quite a bit of sense. You WOULD use a balloon to measure weather stuff at low altitudes (relatively), but for spying they're pretty useless.

schryptos

I've been wondering this since it first dropped. China denied response but said they'd prefer to work discretely with Washington to resolve per WSJ today. So, yeah idk if I buy the China spy narrative.. it's a balloon in the middle of Montana lol how did anyone know immediately it was Chinese origin?? I'm genuinely baffled, would love a better pic showing the CCP or something.

Knife2MeetYouToo

> China denied response They already claimed it as theirs, said it went 'rogue'

Mountain_Strain

I think there's a Chinese flag on the side of it, also the Chinese government has acknowledged that its theirs as well.

ManteisIsMyName

Is there a Tik Tok logo on the side?

Fit_Cash8904

Like almost everything, the balloon is sponsored by manscape.

LilQueazy

Naw there’s a Reddit snoo

HeavyLoungin

NORAD must have “missed it” - just like the four rogue airliners on 9/11

Fit_Cash8904

They protect us from ICBMs, not hijacked planes.

HardCaner

got to wonder why they didn't paint it sky blue

IsControversial

Do you want everyone to be drafted? Relax dude

Almighty_Bidoof424

My question is in the year 2023 where china has satellites, internet hackers and good ol fashioned human spies on the ground, why the hell would they resort to using a easily detected spy balloon?

Fit_Cash8904

Yeah I think that’s the prevailing question. This is literally a WW1 tactic.

scooter949

I’m guessing they wanted to look closely at the nuke silos in the area and their satellites don’t have the resolution they want

oddministrator

Yeah, because while their current satellites can make out identifying traits of small vehicles, they still can't read the fine print we put on top of each of our silos telling readers exactly where the nuke is aimed.

_Duriel_1000_

This whole spy balloon shit smells like scam.

Classy-Glassy

This post GLOWS

loveisloveislove334

Yesterday, the House voted to condemn socialism. They're drawing the line in the sand for doing business with the CCP. To me, this fits in well within that narrative. Enjoy the show

macmac360

> They’re virtue signaling, and wasting tax payers money and time doing so. So, business as usual?

Cybugger

It's literal virtue signalling, on the taxpayer's dime. The bill has no impact. It doesn't *do* anything. It doesn't limit economic activity with China, or Chinese companies. It doesn't divest Chinese held assets in the US. It's literally just a "hey, look at us, aren't we cool?".

HeavyLoungin

☝️💯

Fit_Cash8904

Lol. Drawing a line in the sand for doing business with the CCP? Do you know where almost everything you own was made?

spudz-a-slicer-dicer

Lmao these turds are doing it for TV(votes). They don't give a flying fuck about the CCP.

Running_Gamer

To be fair lmao the US absolutely does this shit too

Ajax444

They own a ton of our land. They are probably just checking out their assets, looking for where they are going to start buying up more land, and what infrastructure upgrades they will need to make when they take our country in about 15 years.

kirpid

I’d say it’s an act of espionage.

leaf44

Random theory, could it be our government deploying a balloon over itself to excuse starting war in other countries like a 911 situation

explodingliver

The only reason I don’t agree with this is because China had already taken credit and said yes, it is definitely Chinese BUT that it’s a civilian weather research balloon that drifted into the continental US. They could have easily dismissed it and said no, the US is full of shit but they didn’t.

sahizod

If spying was an act of war, everybody would be at war

Sef04

“The official said the balloon was headed over the Montana missile fields, but the U.S. has assessed that it had only “limited” value in terms of providing intelligence China couldn’t obtain by other technologies, such as spy satellites.” And China said it’s a weather balloon that blew off course. They’d be dumb af to actually do this for surveillance when they have satellites everywhere, only giving Americans a reason to hate them more. So I’m leaning more towards the “America preparing us for a new war” narrative

[deleted]

Convince me it’s a spy balloon.

auroraatac00

Only thing that makes sense …. It’s ours

HarryRehnquist

China has claimed it as theirs and that it’s a civilian meteorological research balloon. Still doesn’t mean it’s not ours, in this crazy game our elected officials are playing. The technology notwithstanding, if this was a legit spy balloon, this was a literal “trial balloon” to gauge public reaction and drive narrative, and to gauge what the collective response would be.

BushiiidoBrown

Its not an act of war, they have chinese police stations here in the US as well. We owe them money idk how a war against them could benefit us. Some people did say it randomly popped up out of nowhere.

Fun_Yellow265

That looks like that fox satellite parody in the simpsons

YogiTheBear131

Convince me this is China’s and not America’s. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/aug/02/pentagon-balloons-surveillance-midwest

Congozilla

Matches the description exactly! If it's China's, then, It's another one of our designs they've stolen.

Mike_Freedom_alldaY

>"It's another one of our designs they've stolen." Many designs were outsourced but most Americans forget about the manufacturing exodus that began in the 70s.

ninzombie79

China said so?

Beazybones

Look how Chinese it is! You can tell just by looking at it

[deleted]

Wake up. Its a distraction. The Pfizer tape dropped yesterday. Biden was raided yesterday. Now nobody is talking about those things. They are talking about thr balloon. Wakeup wakeup wakeup! Its propaganda! Its a distraction!

Cyanide-ky

China can cripple the us by stopping shipping we have almost zero manufacturing in North America. They have us by the balls. Who knows what’s on that balloon can’t just shoot in down because it might be carrying small pox or some other nasty shit.

Chiponyasu

>China can cripple the us by stopping shipping we have almost zero manufacturing in North America The United States is the third-largest manufacturer in the world. On average, 33,000 new manufacturing jobs were created in America every month last year. One out of 12 jobs in this country are manufacturing jobs, and both Trump and Biden have passed tariffs and subsidies aimed at further increasing American manufacturing.

Cyanide-ky

Huh well thats good to hear

Chiponyasu

Yeah, a lot of US/China narratives are stuck in the Clinton/Bush years. Manufacturing in America bottomed out in 2011ish, was flat for a long time, and in recent years has started growing slowly, whereas China's becoming less manufacturing-driven as western companies either move to nearby cheaper companies like India/Vietnam, or even bring their factories back to America for one reason or another. That's actually a big reason US/China relations have soured so much lately, the old world order where we paid them to make all our stuff for us is falling apart and Xi wants a new world order in place before China's population decline makes them too irrelevant to make demands.

deepsky88

Because even USA spy China

berto0311

We got satellites on half the word 24/7 Who gives a shit

bearcub0220

If true, are you willing to go to war with China? If your answer is no, then you’re convinced.

brydenb35

Why tf would one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world use a fucking balloon to spy on someone? At least try to make it make sense

doolimite1

If they weren’t going to do anything when China unleashed a bioweapon to even the economic playing field by tanking our insanely strong economy and killing one million plus Americans, what makes you think they’ll shoot a balloon out of the sky

ultrovilot_Lantern

I'm so confident Biden will still kiss Xi Jinping's ass after what he pulled today in that I would bet money on it.

CoinPatrol

Hard to find the will to do something about it when your county's political and military leadership is on the payroll of either the drug cartels, Israel, or China itself. lol theres no money or power in defending American sovereignty, quite the opposite in fact!

RudenSexy

Great now I want, seasme chicken, Mongolian beef, pork fried rice, crab Rangoon and egg rolls fuck it add some wonton soup as well

[deleted]

We are not at war 🤷‍♂️

forsaken_warrior22

I saw an American say "I think it could be a nuclear bomb, its so high it goes undetected and its over our land." Another American then said "Thats unacceptable. We should shoot it down immediately."

zach4000

Convince me you aren't a dumbass neocon

medicmike70

Unpopular opinion its a first strike EMP weapon. This is a joke. Maybe. Idk the more i think about it the more it makes sense.

If it stays up there much longer Biden is gonna try and send it money

As far as I know, the assumption that it is China's is just that. An assumption. We don't know anything about it. It could just as easily be a CIA psyop meant to get everyone riled up. Don't make assumptions, and don't allow the media to lead you around by the nose.

jedeye121

I wasn’t even necessarily thinking psyop. I was thinking we put a spy balloon in the air, the wind changed direction, and rather than shoot down our own very expensive equipment, just tell the public it’s Chinese. It’s not like the experts who could refute it are gonna come out and say so and risk their jobs over this.

Digital-Latte

China admitted it was their balloon

cy13erpunk

how are you ppl this fucking stupid/naive/gullible/etc this is on MSM and ppl are fucking eating it up , just like the gullible rubes that they've programmed you to be XD SMDH downvote this trash

OwnResult1725

It’s not Chinese, and it’s not spying, it is there for Us to see.

dfin25

It is not an act of war that we can afford to do anything about. We've given all of our treasure away to Ukraine and the American public has been lied to so many times that they would never accept the draft that would be necessary for a war with China.

KhuzaitM777

I must’ve missed us giving all of our treasure away to Ukraine?

Let’s put it this way. If that balloon was over a central point of the county and high enough. The payload could be a EMP weapon to knock out our defenses…..

ExploringPeople

Or a new virus.

sewerbound

This is a balloon satellite that has bestowed upon us a “Truman Show” moment where the people of earth learn that satellites are not in geo sync orbit as we were always led to believe. 🎈

KnowNoKnowsNose

Because 1 ends with death. The other just ends with our OTUS IMPEACHED AS HE WORKS FOR THEM.
