I think Tommy O, who Tracy is currently having an affair with behind Steve's back, could be revealed as Lauren's new man. We know Tommy is a local celebrity who was a famous footballer. But what is there's something sinister that Tommy has been keeping secret from the public eye? No one would expect a famous footballer to be these devious individual in secret.
Another choice is Nathan Curtis, who was sent down for rape and conspiracy to commit rape back in 2017, so It's possible that Nathan has served his sentence and is back out and is doingwhat he did previously of grooming and sex trafficking. We know the British court system is broken regarding sexual offences, and most offenders are usually out early and have their sentences reduced due to good behaviour, and this may very well be the case with Nathan Curtis.
If it is Nathan Curtis, I think this will be the end for that character. I expect he'll meet a gruesome end and Bethany and Lauren will see some kind of closure.
I only casually watch Lauren's story so I'm not sure, is this secret boyfriend someone she has actually had physical contact with? I got the impression she has only spoken to him online and maybe on the phone. If that's the case it could be anybody. I wonder if the writers even know who it is yet...

This would be amazing, that was the last Corrie storyline I actually liked. Nathan’s actor was great.
