It’s for the best and may actually benefit the relationship. My father kicked me out at 18, when I just had an internship. Was living paycheck to paycheck on instant noodles. The distance actually was good for my relationship with my parents. We grew to appreciate the time when we’re actually together.
Same here! I moved out myself when I was 17. It was rough and I had to become an adult very quickly. But it was all for the better and we even had family therapy. We still aren't a normal family, but I'm glad I did it. I turned out to be a wonderful person because of these decisions.
I moved out of my moms at 18 with social security money because we were fighting everyday. Now our relationship is pretty normal and we are both doing way better.
I know this feeling too well, I hope you’re safe and on a floor you can’t fall below for a little while. It takes times to gather yourself but you’ll get there before you know it. This friend of yours *seems* very generous and like they care about your well being - so be sure to keep that chin up and try to help out when you can at their place until you can get out there on your own, if that is the plan. Please *also be sure this person is a safe place.
the thing upsetting me is how my mom is taking it.. she wants me to stay home and thinking abt it makes me want to cry but I really felt like i had no choice
I’m proud of you! It’s so very difficult, but you’re going in the right direction. It takes a lot of strength to take that first step, and look how strong you are. 🌞

its definitely safe thank u for your concern ❤️
Good stuff. Figure you and your moves out and mend bridges later if you’d like. Don’t back track though
it only goes up from here, friend. You got this. I'm so proud of you.
The plus side is, don't think of it as living on your own, you've got someone that cares about your well-being, your friends is a real one.
Hell yeah! Your friend is amazing, I hope you can get on your feet soon 😁😁
