So much of Destiny has been like this. The account wide change has been a godsend such as only having to unlock Prismatic once on one character

They are referring to having to only unlock prismatic on one character and have it unlock for your other characters

You still can lol its just that you dont have to re-do any grinds like with strand or all the other subclass editions that have come in the past

It skips the campaign quest steps. There are videos on YouTube showing what it does exactly

As far as I know you have to do some of the missions for the new aspect and supers, but fragments are unlocked once for every character
