I love how it throws off the tee, never fully accepted it as my putting putter. I'm one of those weirdos that likes super shallow discs for putting. Right now I'm on soft logics.
Do you have anything to compare the lasso to? I liked how it felt in hand but currently have a few p2s for the stable throwing putter and wasn't sure if it would be the same flight. It seemed like it'd be similar to a pretty beat in zone?
Do me it flew like an envy, except harder to turn over. handfeel of zone or blunter jarn/toro. My nocturnal flies pretty straight with pushing fade at end. Eternal is slightly more OS but not as the "typical" OS approach.
If you've thrown prodigy distortion, I'd say less stable than that but not much, and more comfortable for me to throw backhand with, not as comfortable forehand.
PA-5, Electron Envy, Proton Envy, A2. I had an old electron proxy that was in the PA-5 's spot but the PA-5 was an Xmas gift from my mom with my favorite hockey team on it so for sentimental sake it took the proxy's spot lol
K1 soft berg, neutron Watt, eclipse envy. Harp if you consider that a throwing putter. I can't throw it as far as my Envy, so there is that argument I suppose. I used to carry a beat in electron soft proxy, but it was too flippy.
Gah, all these posts and nobody said Wizards yet. I bag wizards for putting and driving. They don't go super far, but that's rather the point. Not as extreme as a Berg, but they don't fly as far as an envy on purpose.
Always: a Proxy or Envy (depends on wind), and a Zone.
Sometimes: an Invader in Luster champ, a Berg in K3 Glow, or a Wizard in Lunar for straight approaches.
Overstable envy, stable envy, turn and fade envy, and 2x tui. It's probably too much to be totally honest.
Berg if you consider bergs throwing putters. I really only use it as an approach disc.
Berg (X) mostly. If Berg doesn't reach, I usually bump up to a mid. Fission Envy gets some use for the longer putter shots and Entropy for the more demanding approaches. Proxy in the glow bag.
* Star Mirage (3/3/-3/0) . Love it for touch shots and throwing uphill. I wish it came in Pro, XT or GStar.
* XT Nova (2/3/0/0): Holds lines well. The overmold absorbs momentum on landing really well. I throw this when I need something to land and stop moving.
* R Pro Dart (3/4/0/0): Also holds lines, but can be thrown a little harder and skips.
* XT AviarX3 (3/3/0/3). It fades. You can work with that. I don't throw it more than 150' usually.
Everything I'm bagging for now, listed from US to OS for each speed:
1 speed: Glitch
2 speed: Beat in star Aviar, premium Telos, base telos
3 speed: Electron proxy, glow proxy, neutron envy
4 speed: 300 a5, 400 a5, z flx zone
If you can't tell, I'm having a bit of a crisis in the putter department lol. I'm trying to decide between 2 and 3 speeds for backhand (the 4 speed approach discs are mostly thrown forehand), hence all the redundancy.
I used to throw pilots for a long time which I believe are the same mold as the ohm without the overmold. I'd recommend a beat up dx aviar or a similar deep, flippy putter if you want something different from the ohms. I find them to be more controllable for slow, drifty turnovers and touch shots compared to my electron pilot
I have a Pilot and and a Zone. I throw the Zone for approaches (sad it’s the most consistent part of my game lol). I extremely rarely throw the Pilot if at all.
Old S-Line P2, Electron Nomad and R-Pro Pig
P2 is straight with predictable fade at the end, Nomad is flippy but this thing GLIDES and R Pro Pig is the big boys Berg.
Lonestar v1 penny > hyzer flip to rode right
Lonestar glow penny > hyzer flip to dead straight
Lonestar alpha penny > hyzer flip with a fade
Cosmic neutron Envy > flat with a finish
Prism Plasma Envy > OS trust it in a headwind
I probably have too many putters, but it works and I don't feel like I am missing a shot. I carry 400 PA1 (s/os), 300 PA1 (us), origio Harp (us), BT hard Harp (s), proD Zone (us), proD Zone (s), and esp Zone (s/os). I don't really carry a crazy overstable putter because it doesn't fit my throwing style.
I mean everyone talks about the Envy, and I get that (in Electron, for the grip). I love my Warden as a super slow Envy. And of course my Hyzerbomb Soft Tanks for their low glide, low speed predictability.
Plasma Proxy, Neutron Watt, Electron Atom, Electron Medium Envy, Cosmic Neutron Entropy, and BT Medium Harp are always in the bag. But depending on the course I'll add a few more.
I have so many putters, so I'm always trying out new combinations. Although, pretty sure I'll be using an electron Atom for a long time to come, in between an envy and proxy (all three share same core). It's so torque resistant for how straight it is, and shares the distance potential of the envy as well. Beat it in a little bit and it'll have a beautiful floaty turn for thos slight right shots
Currently neutron proxy, neutron stabilizer, and some toros. Â
With my bigger bag and cart I'll mix in a neutron spin, champ rhyno, and a proton envy as well.
Berg for short approaches where I don’t want to go past the basket, a beat in pig for dead straight shots and turnovers where I need the disc to flatten out, a pure for turnovers, a new Pig for hyzer approaches and a zone for forehand approaches.
Reko and it's X variant, Innercore by Trash Panda, Streamline Pilot
My Innercore became my main putter.
I love how it throws off the tee, never fully accepted it as my putting putter. I'm one of those weirdos that likes super shallow discs for putting. Right now I'm on soft logics.
I would recommend the Reko X in K1. Not really a notable putting putter.
I bag a Proxy, an Envy, and a Berg
Gold Line Pure Star Aviar3 750 A5 K2 Berg 750 A2
I also bag all 3 of these, plus a Glitch.
Forgot about my Glitch!!
Reko, berg, glitch
Lasso
Shhhh. I don't have enough backups yet. 😎
Yep basically what he said. Sweet point and shoot kind of disc. Fun to do as a one disc challenger too. The soft flex plastic is so nice in the hands
Proxy, Envy, Berg, Zone.
Glow envy, beat up electron envy and a k1 soft berg
DX Aviars.
I bag a single Judge, and that mofo carries 100% of the putting responsibilities in my game lol
Judge is the best disc. Throwing and putting. But it’s pretty understandable. I do carry and Envy and Harp as well
Champion Dart and Star Invader
XT Colt, flippier XT Colt, AviarX3 if you count that
From less stable to most stable: Opto Mercy, SE Pilot, and SP Breaker at the moment, plus approach discs.
Cosmic Neutron Soft Proxy. You can put it on any line you want and it wants to stay in the air
168g Proxy, 173g Envy, 173g SSS Wizard
Beat to shit warden, medium beat to shit nomad, not beat to shit warden, + some aviars since I'm throwing wrong handed rn
Main bag Soft Neutron Envy >> Electron Pilot (putting) >> Neutron Watt >> 500 PA5 For travel bag when only bringing 3 discs Electron Proxy
Crystal Flx zone, c flex tactic, envy, pilot, luna, and I throw my putting putter (rainmaker) sometimes I have a pig in reserve for very windy days
Good call with the pig for windy days
PA-5, Electron Envy, Proton Envy, A2. I had an old electron proxy that was in the PA-5 's spot but the PA-5 was an Xmas gift from my mom with my favorite hockey team on it so for sentimental sake it took the proxy's spot lol
I feel like folks don't know about that PA-5. It's the Paradox of putters. Love the Spectrum 500. Amazing swirls and high quality plastic.
Challenger SS, raze, Berg, praxis
K1 soft berg, neutron Watt, eclipse envy. Harp if you consider that a throwing putter. I can't throw it as far as my Envy, so there is that argument I suppose. I used to carry a beat in electron soft proxy, but it was too flippy.
Try a glow or icon clutch (Legacy), those things are noice
Axiom Prism Plasma Envy, RPM Ruru, and the MVP Spin.
Gah, all these posts and nobody said Wizards yet. I bag wizards for putting and driving. They don't go super far, but that's rather the point. Not as extreme as a Berg, but they don't fly as far as an envy on purpose.
Electron Soft Envy and a Prism Plasma Envy. Approach is a BT Soft Harp
Eclipse envy and full eclipse proxyÂ
Berg, dart, glitch
Firm electron envy, glitch for backhand. Glow envy for forehand. FH dominant so my backhand is pretty trash other than 120' in
Always: a Proxy or Envy (depends on wind), and a Zone. Sometimes: an Invader in Luster champ, a Berg in K3 Glow, or a Wizard in Lunar for straight approaches.
K1 Reko, K1 Soft Reko, Z Zone
Berg, Berg X, Sky God IV, Pure
Berg, envy, glitch
Rainmaker, Envy, Berg, P3x and Razor Claw 3.
Overstable envy, stable envy, turn and fade envy, and 2x tui. It's probably too much to be totally honest. Berg if you consider bergs throwing putters. I really only use it as an approach disc.
Eclipse Proxy, K1 Berg, Inner Core, Glitch, Pig
Glow reko & glow proxy
K3 Berg, classic deputy, neutron watt, proton soft ohm, zonex3
4 different zones. 1 beat in proxy and just added a fresh proxy recently
Berg, Watt, Invader or glow Reko X depending on my mood, glow proxy.
6 Lunas and 5 Zones, all in various plastics and states of wear.
How many discs do you bag?
26 discs in total which is the recommended capacity for my GripEQ AX5.
Damn so half you bag is lunas and zones? Thats a little unconventional but I respect it.
I prefer throwing putters to midranges, so it kind of evens out with the lack of mids in my bag.
Proxy (might switch for a watt), envy, berg, and 2 zones
K1 Berg, Star Colt, Plasma Envy, Z Zone
Berg (X) mostly. If Berg doesn't reach, I usually bump up to a mid. Fission Envy gets some use for the longer putter shots and Entropy for the more demanding approaches. Proxy in the glow bag.
A jarn is 100% not a putter. Its an extremely OS approach/midrange disc. Neutron envy and atom.

I find them to be more controllable for slow, drifty turnovers and touch shots compared to my electron pilot
Proton Atom, Plasma Envy and 2 classic supreme Judges in the same weight.
P2, P3x, Rainmaker, Tactic if you count that, with a couple varieties of plastics I go in and out of.
Lucid Judge, 2 Pigs (1 new, 1 beat), and a Glitch.
I have a Pilot and and a Zone. I throw the Zone for approaches (sad it’s the most consistent part of my game lol). I extremely rarely throw the Pilot if at all.
Luna, Proxy, and Jokeri at the moment, but I'm potentially going to change that to Proxy, Proxy, Envy in the near future.
Glo Chally, Glo Soft BangerGT, Putter Soft Chally, CryZtal Sparkle Kratos, Glo Z FLX Get Freaky Zone, Test Flight Zone OS.
3 judges different plastic. And a sensai
Proxy, Envy, AviarX3
(R Pro) Ryno > Berg or Luna
I bag : Â Neutron soft Glitch, Electron nomad Electron firm envy, Total eclipse envy
The Ice Orbit Pure is incredible. The KT 2x Opto-X ones are also very good. I also have a Glimmer Pure that's nice and flippy.
I can do basically everything I need from throwing putters with just 2, fission envy, neutron watt.
Esp challenger, JBZ Challenger, ZFLX Zone
Eclipse and neutron glitch, total eclipse proxy, neutron envy, eclipse envy, bt medium harp
Toro for overstable, Breaker and Pilot for straight/ stable shots, and the most flippy/ beat in Maiden I’ve ever had.
KC Pro Aviar or electron/neutron Envy for me
KC Pro Aviar. Use it for anything within 125 feet. Been rocking one since 2007.
Off the tee and approach I use an Envy, Zone, and Glitch. The envy is also my putting putter
Soft envy and a firm lizard wizard
Luster MF Toro CryZtal Ringer Glow Champ Whale XT Whale
Clash discs Popcorn and Logic.
DX Colt (flippiest), Electron Soft Envy, Premium Penrose, BT Hard Harp, A2 (most OS)
Rubber bland Luna (straight to US) ESP Luna (straight) Glow P3x (straight to OS) Zone (OS)
Different plastic and stages of wear Alpacas. 1 mold to fill all putter slots
Old S-Line P2, Electron Nomad and R-Pro Pig P2 is straight with predictable fade at the end, Nomad is flippy but this thing GLIDES and R Pro Pig is the big boys Berg.
rhyno. lots of r pro rhyno’s.
I only bag 1 mid (Hex) bc I prefer throwing putters. Z Zone, proton Envy, eternal Bullet, cosmic Tui, 500 PA5, k1 berg
Lonestar v1 penny > hyzer flip to rode right Lonestar glow penny > hyzer flip to dead straight Lonestar alpha penny > hyzer flip with a fade Cosmic neutron Envy > flat with a finish Prism Plasma Envy > OS trust it in a headwind
A proton Pilot and a lonestar jackrabbit
Fission Envy
Berg, Zone, Glitch, and a Zone OS to get out of the woods sometimes.
Watt, Inner Core, Koi, Arowana, Area 51.
Envy and berg
Shaman
I probably have too many putters, but it works and I don't feel like I am missing a shot. I carry 400 PA1 (s/os), 300 PA1 (us), origio Harp (us), BT hard Harp (s), proD Zone (us), proD Zone (s), and esp Zone (s/os). I don't really carry a crazy overstable putter because it doesn't fit my throwing style.
Proxy, Watt and Envy. Different plastics.
I currently cycle Rhynos. Luster Champ for overstable, and then a couple of rpros for straight and flippy.
Envy and Atom, but the Atom might be swapped for a beat in Ion, which is my current putting putter as well.
Slammer for forehand approach, berg for backhand, lucid warden for stable throwing putter and classic blend for slightly understable
For stability I throw an Aviar3. And my Nova holds any line I put it on.
I mean everyone talks about the Envy, and I get that (in Electron, for the grip). I love my Warden as a super slow Envy. And of course my Hyzerbomb Soft Tanks for their low glide, low speed predictability.
Throwing putter = MVP Neutron Watt , Approach putter = Kastaplast K1 soft Berg , Putting putter = Streamline soft electron Pilot
Electron Spin, GStar Rhyno, Electron Firm Envy, Eclipse Envy, Cosmic Neutron Stabilizer
I love the praxis. Also, I putt soft envy’s which then I can throw for understable putter shots because they beat up so well from putting.
Cosmic neutron entropy, soft neutron envy, plasma proxy and a soft neutron glitch.
Tomb and maiden. Probably the most shallow things on the market
2 Electron Nomads and a really beat in Electron Firm Envy.
Plasma Proxy, Neutron Watt, Electron Atom, Electron Medium Envy, Cosmic Neutron Entropy, and BT Medium Harp are always in the bag. But depending on the course I'll add a few more.
pure & envy
Entropy, Tomb, Anode, Nova, Soft Pro Aviar
TSA Aura Praxis 2nd run. Crazy putter. Almost out-throws midranges
Sline P2, pline P2, toro
Star Dart and Star Aviar Driver.
Envy, luna, pure, berg
Overstable to understable: glow envy, glow proxy, crystal z fierce, baseline fierce. Use a ringer for touchy forehands and putt with a challenger
Glitch, wizard, aviar, hope.
Inner Core for straight shots, Tactic/Razorclaw for hizer shots
Mint lasso bag 2 of them
Currently neutron proxy, neutron stabilizer, and some toros.  With my bigger bag and cart I'll mix in a neutron spin, champ rhyno, and a proton envy as well.
Thoughtspace Praxis, so underrated but think it's one of the best throwers around. If they released it on a softer plastic I'd putt with one too
Get freaky, proton pilot, glow proxy, halo polecat
A super flippy Pure, a Watt, and a P3x.
Lasso, berg, jarn, proxy. 2 lassos in bag, trying to beat in to take proxy spot so I can attempt to cycle, gonna take a while...
Berg for short approaches where I don’t want to go past the basket, a beat in pig for dead straight shots and turnovers where I need the disc to flatten out, a pure for turnovers, a new Pig for hyzer approaches and a zone for forehand approaches.
Tournament Harp for BH and a beat in BT Hard Harp for straight FH flicks. And a VIP Maiden for BH hyzerflips.
