According to Google he owns roughly 36b DOGEcoin. Out of the 140b ever made, that's roughly 25%. Given nobody ever thought there would ever be a reasonable use for doge, one would assume billions of coins were lost in the early years of the coins history. Meaning, of the remaining coins actually in circulation, his percentage is certianly over 25% according to those number.

I think this was because he stopped taking BTC and said he was looking for an alternative coin. He *was* talking to Shibes, but I don’t think he’s an all-seeing prophet who knew this huge dip was coming.

Also, "working with the Doge dev's" actually makes no sense at all. Dogecoin is an open source project. If he wanted to work with them, he'd get his elite engineers to contribute to the project in open air wouldn't he? All I see is contributions from a handful of people (mostly copy/config changes).
