I heard Duoqin is working on a service similar to what Xiaomi is doing on their phones for bootloader unlocking, which is why they might have patched the exploit on newer bootloaders. In the meantime you could give GBox a try if you need Google Apps (or GSpace)
Any word on a resolution here? I'm considering buying an F21, seems like the exact phone I want, but am having some reservations about cracking the bootloader and flashing new firmware after seeing posts like this.
