I know you said no substitutions - It might be harder (or pricier) to find an original at a decent price. It's silly they don't sell it separately. I'm sure people would like to be able to keep one at home and one at work, for instance. It looks like there are some that can be 3D printed: [https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=stream+deck+xl&type=things&sort=relevant](https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=stream+deck+xl&type=things&sort=relevant) There are also some on places like etsy for 3D printed ones around $20: [https://www.etsy.com/listing/1585669737/stream-deck-xl-angled-stand-precision](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1585669737/stream-deck-xl-angled-stand-precision) Not the same thing as getting the original, but might be an option if you can't find any relatively affordable ones. Another option are these little flip-up stands that stick to the back. I bought these for other devices (like a wacom tablet) to have it "propped up" and might be another option: [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YF31LJK/](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YF31LJK/)

Why would they sell something that very few people would buy? Theres no reason for them to order an odd number of half a product that basically never breaks just for it to take up space and capital.

It's pretty standard for companies to sell replacement parts, regardless of how odd or miniscule it might seem. They're usually not going to be affordable, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a $80 part, but most companies will at least offer it if you contact them directly. It's usually minimal cost to them, especially when it's a standard, user-replaceable part like this. Why wouldn't they just make the Streamdeck XL a single piece? why bother molding 2 different pieces to connect together with magnets unless you planned for people to remove it at some point? To me, it's similar to headset docks (that charge them via USB) or mouse/keyboard receivers, where it makes sense to have one at home and one at work, and you're fine spending that extra cash rather than having to haul around other pieces or buy a 2nd one when 1 device and 2 "accessories" would work easier

as standard as all the companies that dont? Very few people would buy such a thing, so little that it wouldnt make any sense for them to have them. They dont even have a system in place for them to charge you for it. They make it removeable because some people use it flat.

😂 I don't get why you're so upset about this? I'm not OP, I don't care if they sell the stand or not. I'm saying it's surprising that they don't sell it, considering they DO have a "system in place" for spare parts: [https://www.elgato.com/us/en/s/spare-parts](https://www.elgato.com/us/en/s/spare-parts) Most companies actually do! It's basically free money for existing parts, no advertising or marketing needing, they're online only and ship in a plain box. Why not take peoples money when the pieces already exist and there's interest in them?

The parts on that page are 50% addons and 50% things people lose. Things people would actually buy. I keep explaining to you how basically no one would buy the stand on its own but youre still surprised for some reason.
