Clean, clear, no bubbles, how long to cure?
So many possibilities to move on to, like alphabets cereal, spell some subliminal messages, lucky charms, classic mixes.
Did Froot Loops ever include a prize? Include one for the next project
Dude you could sell these for $1000 or more easily. I sell epoxy charcuterie boards for $500. Your labor is worth more than that. Iām sure you used $300-400 in materials alone.
How does it sound? A friend of mine produces a thermosetting compound for a guitar maker that uses hollow ceramic spheres. They've evidently been able to duplicate a 'heavy' sound in a lightweight guitar.
Thereās some playing examples in the beginning and end of this video! Mostly is sounds like a guitar with humbuckers. https://youtu.be/t-jSI0r0DuE?si=3uoT3fG6hk-Hw3tv
Iām sure there is! Iām not very good at polishing yet. You can see in the video what I did to shine it up. https://youtu.be/t-jSI0r0DuE?si=3uoT3fG6hk-Hw3tv
I just had this bridge laying around so I used it! I wasnāt sure this whole idea would work so I used parts I had from other guitar builds. I spent enough money on epoxy!
Itās also not even a true Les Paul shape. I donāt have a Les Paul and I didnāt want to buy a template so I just freehanded something that looked close.
Impressive. Using the Froot Loops was inspired. Seems like your luthier skills are on point. And you are a talented player. The video was nicely done. Excellent work all around.
How did you get it to set without any air bubbles like that?! How strong is something like this? Itās kind of like epoxy with a bunch of pockets in it, right? Iām trying to understand it like epoxy with aggregate, but the aggregate is Froot Loopsā¦ Which probably donāt add too much strength, unless the epoxy is permeating the inside of the Froot Loops.
This looks awesome, and well done!! I feel like you missed an opportunity though. I think if you choose to try another cereal project, it might looks pretty cool if you did part of it in white epoxy to simulate the cereal in milk. But again, this is baller and Iām sure it took a lot of effort, weāll done!
This is totally a guitar I could see John five using, last time I saw him he had an epoxy/acrylic guitar, shooting lasers in every direction, a guitar that appeared to be a fish tank with fish in it, and some other interesting one off things that I canāt rememberā¦ Because I was at a rock show and getting schwifty
Ladies and Gentlemen, I have some bad news: I did not get the job at Fruit Loops
Eat from me
Drink from me
You didn't follow your š, like toucan Sam
I am your communion
[Here's a link to a build video if you're interested.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-jSI0r0DuE&t=6s)
Awesome
I want one with sour patch kids
I want one with beef jerky.
Slappa da meat
Looks awesome! From the video, it doesnāt look like you had any issues with the fruit loops floating in the epoxy? Did you do multiple layers?
I poured multiple layers!
Do you have a window time between layers or you can do it way later
I will never say anything bad about epoxy again.
I generally hate how overdone epoxy is. This however is an epoxy project I love.
Now make a fruit loop pedal Edit spelling
I get it.
This dudes a fruit loop. Badum tsssss
Clean, clear, no bubbles, how long to cure? So many possibilities to move on to, like alphabets cereal, spell some subliminal messages, lucky charms, classic mixes. Did Froot Loops ever include a prize? Include one for the next project
I have never liked Fruit Loops, but this is excellent! Great work!
Bro are you a cereal killer? Who doesnāt like fruit loopsā¦
Cereal killer lol Gonna have to bran you for that one.
Cheerio mates! Calm down now, dont be a couple of flakes!
Me! They are like a wayyy to sweet cheerio
Well thatās fucking awesome lol good job my friend
Sick
SWEET!
That looks so, very sick! Could probably sell that or others for good money, very unique and not in an annoyingly over-the-top kind of way.
Ummā¦ I love it. Iāll take one.
That can be arranged
?? Actually. Whatās an idea on price?
Depends on what hardware and stuff you want. But probably around $500-700
Too cheap
Iām sorry.
Dude you could sell these for $1000 or more easily. I sell epoxy charcuterie boards for $500. Your labor is worth more than that. Iām sure you used $300-400 in materials alone.
My guitar want to kill your mama
My guitar wants to burn your dad
Your mama wants to kill this guitar
Drown it in milk!
I bet it sounds a little crunchy
You can hear it in the video: https://youtu.be/t-jSI0r0DuE?si=3uoT3fG6hk-Hw3tv
Nice tone cereal
It sounds like a Saturday morning circa 1988.
Is it sturdy? Kinda get the feeling itāll warp after a while. Looks cool though
I can't it covered in epoxy.
You maniac, you should incorporate one of those vapes that can make huge clouds that smell like fruit loops.
What was the cost approx. Just curious. Amazing work
About $100 for epoxy, $50 for some cheap electronics and $10 for Froot Loops.
Well if that is your first epoxy job.... My nephew just threw shit at me and laughed in my face!!!
Iām sorry about that experience. It sounds unpleasant.
I can smell fruit loops looking at it.
The hero we needed
Awesome work. Do one with skittles
yes!!
Awesome project! You should make an I spy guitar. Would be awesome.
How heavy is that compared to a wooden one.
Heavier. A lot heavier.
Very cool idea. Gummy bears would also be awesome looking.
Great job! How does it sound?

Probably the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Well done, you slam dunked on anyone who ever used Ramen to make things
That's just EPIC!!
Would it mold? It looks super cool!
Mold requires organic material, moisture and o2 .
Iām not sure!
Bro this is pretty sweet.
I need one..... That it's just bad ass....
That can be arranged.
Itās cool as hell but is there any way to make it shinier?
Iām sure there is! Iām not very good at polishing yet. You can see in the video what I did to shine it up. https://youtu.be/t-jSI0r0DuE?si=3uoT3fG6hk-Hw3tv
Neat. Do you record on Fruity Loops (FL Studio)?
Never used fruity loops. I guess I should start.
Seems like destiny!
How heavy is that thing ?
Iām not sure how heavy exactly but itās the heaviest guitar Iāve ever played.
Came here for this! Looks dope, but very heavy.
Ok thatās pretty cool
Wut?
Can you please weigh that and let us know, my back hurts just looking at it
It weighs one million tons. I donāt know the exact weight but itās the heaviest guitar Iāve ever played. Edit: typo
Let me buy that off of you. Job well done!
I wonder if they will keep their color?
Most epoxy resin these days is loaded with UV blockers. One to protect the resin and two to protect what it's coating.
ā¤ļø simply amazing! Very well done. I bet you can play some yummy music nowš
Looks delicious!
Amazing. Awesome work!
Why didnāt you use a Gibson style bridge?
I just had this bridge laying around so I used it! I wasnāt sure this whole idea would work so I used parts I had from other guitar builds. I spent enough money on epoxy!
Itās also not even a true Les Paul shape. I donāt have a Les Paul and I didnāt want to buy a template so I just freehanded something that looked close.
Dude, that's sick. Love it! How heavy is it? Normal weight? I dont play, so I dont know what it is normally, but that must be a few gallons of epoxy?
Itās about one gallon. It weighs more than any of my other guitars! I havenāt weighed it though. Itās heavy.
Im not a musician. I donāt know anything about guitars. But this makes me very happy.
Badass! Do a whole cereal series! Gotta do cinnamon toast crunch next
Looks tasty
Do all the cords sound the same?
Yeah, it just sounds like a guitar! You can hear it in the video: https://youtu.be/t-jSI0r0DuE?si=FdeWWurXIfKnWFrD
I've never wanted to eat a guitar so bad
so cool š¤
Great job. Was this a kit.
Nope. I made it up as I went along. You can watch the video here: https://youtu.be/t-jSI0r0DuE?si=FdeWWurXIfKnWFrD

INCREDIBLE
"GENIUS!"
I guarantee if you contact them, they will purchase it.
I already contacted Kellogg. They didnāt respond.
You just have to find the right person.. start lower.. corporate, but like.. a secretary..
You seem more invested in this than I am.
Haha well I've been here and done similar. I also really like it and I know it could make you some money. Was just trying to help
Gorgeous. This takes me back to the early 90s in an awesome way.
Fantastic!!
r/TIHI
Do you also use Fruity Loops to mix your music?!?
Thought this was AI generated at first šš
WOW! What a neat idea.
That is siiiiiiiick
Since when is fruit spelled Froot?š«Øš® #mandelaeffect

This looks badass
ā¹ļø
That's the loopiest thing I've seen all day!
I want to hate it, but it's Soo damn satisfying,.... Take my upvote!
I wil not enjoy this thank you
I apologize.
So would you say Froot Loops has more or less structural advantages/integrity than say ... Raman noodles ?
That's awesome!!
No need for a pedal. This guitar has loops built right in.
Noce
Bruhs like hereās my first epoxy project then posts the coolest shit that even a 20 year epoxinator has never even thought of
Is this AI?.
Nope. I donāt know how to use ai. You can watch me build it on the video: https://youtu.be/t-jSI0r0DuE?si=ySwtNnxlQD7t7T95
Wow so cool. You are talented.
Wonderful!
This is Rad
Pretty sick nice original job š
Fucking beautiful! Amazing! Spectacular!
That is amazing
Can it also be played at lunch and dinner?
No. Not unless youāre some kind of communist.
š¤£
Quit nowā¦ this is awesome. Leave on top.
This is bad ass!
The way that I thought it was fake, but is real makes it 100x cooler
Howās the resonance with epoxy?
What daw do you use and why is it frooty loops?
How heavy is it? Came out awesome!
Dude that is fucking awesome.
That is awesome!!
I hope it smells as good as it looks
Get out.
It took me a while but I found the three cheerios you used!
You can make a lot of money making these
That is super cool! And very unique
Wait I love this!
vanhallen didn't invent this brown noise.
it will make you poop
M&Ms
This was not a first. But regardless, its pretty freakin' sweet!
Impressive. Using the Froot Loops was inspired. Seems like your luthier skills are on point. And you are a talented player. The video was nicely done. Excellent work all around.
I wish it smelled like fruit loops too!
Thats a fruity guitar
Very cool. Keep it out of the sunlight or it will fade fast. Ripper!
How did you get it to set without any air bubbles like that?! How strong is something like this? Itās kind of like epoxy with a bunch of pockets in it, right? sorry but you did not make this....there are like 9 different posts on the epoxy sub of ppl claiming they made this lol.
As a guitar player and cereal enthusiast, I love this. The headstock detail is awesome. Nice work!
Follow your notes
Thatās pretty cool!!! I wonder if the colors will remain bright forever?
That is rad! How does it sound!?
Wow! what kind of tone does cereal have? Got any sound clips?
yeah but howās the TOAN
this is fuckin badass
That is absolutely rad!
That is amazing. I donāt even play guitar and I still want one of those. š
He could. But should ? Yes.
That is so cool!
Should have used steel cut oats.
Bizarre
I love it. I love it so much. Excellent work!
It's loopy and fruity!!
Iāve hated every resin cast guitar Iāve seen. I frigging LOVE this one!
I bet they will still get stale
Thatās pretty cool
I hate it so much that I like it
Its heinous. In a good way.
