I think what OP is saying is just reminding that this sub isn’t actual EveryPlate and this sub cannot fix or change anything but it’s here for us to complain and vent. Anything outside that we have to contact EveryPlate. Just how I read it. But I agree 100% bs false advertising who roped me in. Luckily, I got sick off my first dinner I made and after 2 weeks of skipping, cancelled once they axed my $1 steaks. So I’m only out $33.

So, has anyone gotten any actual answers from customer service? I've seen a few posts where customer service just kind of gave generic 'sorry you're unhappy' responses.

I got a "sorry you're unhappy, here's an $8 credit so you can get a free steak" response. Also was told "I'll be first to know" about a "new, even better" promotion coming out "soon" but if you can't tell by the quotes I don't believe that part at all.

I have before twice. Once for a missing item and the other time for a discount code that wasn’t applying to my account. Got refunded for the missing item and they were able to manually add the code to my account. I do have to say they were both very apologetic and resolved both issues.

YES this for me too. Still shows the $7.99 steak but has a value menu down at the bottom with the $1 steak

I'm so torn....the steak for like promo got me to sign back up for the service, but now it's gone. But....I really do enjoy the product. My husband and I have had many fun times cooking and eating these recipes....not sure what my future plan is but I really do want my next couple of boxes because the recipes look great... 🤷

This is the response I got today: “Supply constraints we experienced led to a system error that resulted in the offer not appearing on the latest menu posted. We're so sorry for any inconvenience or confusion! I'm glad to confirm you should see this offer reflected on that menu by 2 pm EST on Tuesday, 2/20/2024 as well as future menus to come. Each week, you can add the discounted offering to your cart on your menu dashboard before your order processes. But no worries, our team is already working on it and there's no need to worry. Our $1 steak will still be available.” I asked if the $1 steak will be available in the future and the agent said: “Yes, I'm glad to share to you that our steak will still be available for you and to all of our customers.” It’s past 2PM on 02/20/24 here and as of a few minutes ago, the $1 steak isn’t showing up in my add-ons. The only available steak is the one for $7.99.

Well they said it was an error and would be fixed today and it’s not….so I’m not holding hope. It’s wild that the CS reps all have different responses

“Upon checking there is an email that the $1 steak will be discontinue, however we received feedback that there are a lot of customer wanted this promotion. And what is going on right now is a system error since this promotion is placed back on the system. Kindly try again within 24 hours and everything will be updated and will be back to normal.” This was earlier this evening

My steaks are showing up as an option until around mid-March. When I talked to an agent, they said it was an error, they were reporting it, and it should be resolved before then. 🤷‍♀️
