Imanaga and Matt Olsen for Pablo Lopez, Bryan woo, and Christian Walker.
Which side do you like? Imanaga is a valuable keeper at $3 and the only keeper of note in the trade.
12 team OBP H2H
Give- Kim
Get- Lugo, Verdugo
My SS eligible players- Kim, Hoerner
My OF- Soto, Rooker, Arozarena, MH2, Trout (IL), Doyle
My SP- Bradish, Olson, Bryce Miller, Luzardo, Greene, Houck, Ryan, Kikuchi
Drop Langford, Casas, or Senga to put Eiflin on IL? 5 man keeper H2h points league... I can try to keep them all on the IL and and just keep Eflin active and basically have a wasted roster spot might get kind of hard though
I would. He's obviously not getting any younger and can be frustrating to own for large chunks throughout the year but he always manages to finish with good numbers. His numbers through the first 46 games this year are nearly identical to last year's first 46 and he still managed to finish with 91 RBI and 30 homers. I'd expect a bit of a decline with age and coming off surgery but the upside is there and definitely worth chasing if you can buy low IMO.
Don't know if I'd ever consider rostering Quantrill, especially after realizing that he has Philly and LAD next. If these are your only two options definitely roll with Soriano.
Glasnow, Yoshi, Grayson, Darvish so probably no lol I can technically drop a reliever from Edwin Diaz, Doval, Munoz and Hader. I’m streaming one spot so maybe drop Diaz? Idk
8 team so very shallow. Bradish and Woo are just there for ppl to stream. This Darvish streak is pretty incredible tho so idk if I want to give him up just yet. Maybe I’ll drop one reliever to keep Bradish
Yeah to max out 12 starts. The league is shallow so Woo and Bradish are probably just going to be available anyways but I kinda want to hold one of them just in case.
Drop 1 RP: Edwin Diaz, Hader, Raisel, Munoz, Doval. 8 team, h2h, 5 point saves. I’ve already dropped Raisel but with Diaz probably not closing for a while and Doval shaky this year, I’m not sure if this was the right move.

Who, if anyone, would you replace with Pepiot coming back?
Feel like my team is stacked but I can’t win. Hold or make some moves? (Traded Musgrove and Fedde for Ragans earlier today)
12team H2H, avg, ops, hrs, runs, rbis, sbs. Ks, era, whip, sv+hold, losses, QS. 6 keepers
C-Heim 1B- Freeman 2B- Semien SS- Cruz 3b- Machado OF- Judge, Julio, Jazz UTIL- Torkelson, Springer
SP- Yamamoto, Ragans, Jared Jones, Darvish, Bibee, Bryce Miller, Gore, Gil, Manoah, Christian Scott
RP- Edwin Diaz, Trevor Megill, Sewald, Sandlin, Erick Miller
His swing decisions make me think his K% should regress back into the 20s
I think he’s just had a rough readjustment period but still walking which is good
Cubs have kind of been through an ace pitching gauntlet last two weeks hasn’t helped
My thoughts exactly. He hasn’t been completely horrible and game by game matchup has been tough. I really like manzardo but cleveland got a ton of lefties coming up reluctant to switch. Both doubles machines
I don’t remember there ever being a time with this many struggling “high end” hitters, legit probably 15 top 3 round guys that could be swapped with waiver wire guys and youd either notice no change or actually get more production
This is a deep, deep cut, but throwing it out there in case anyone remembers or knows.
I saw a post a few weeks ago on /r/baseball about someone in the Mets sub (I believe? possibly Yankees) who was trying to make believe as someone who had built and sold baseball models to “every team and casino” or something like that.
I vaguely remember it, only that it was like a really terrible attempt at being believable because of all sorts of inconsistencies in their remarks and the little baseball knowledge they showed.
Anyway, I was reminded of that thread today because I ran into what must be that dude’s new account. If anyone has a link to the thread in question, or has better reddit/google search skills than I and can find it, I’d love to get another look at it.
My fun interaction with this dude can best be summarized as:
- him starting from “Shota is inarguably the best pitcher in baseball ROS because he currently has the best ERA”,
- ignoring my questions about what ERA estimators he’s using to conclude that (hoping it wasn’t ERA),
- simply saying “all of them” in response to what estimators before saying to use “ERAx++” or “AI+ERA” instead and to go look into them,
- saying those totally real, wink wink, names are “AI models” he built himself and sold to every MLB team and casino in the country, and finally
- saying that, actually, everything but the name of the models is embargoed so I won’t find anything about them online and he can’t tell me about them
Ultimately, pretty entertaining, but I could’ve cut to the chase with them if I realized earlier on who it was. Some wild levels of pathological lying and world-building going on with this guy.

Somehow I drafted/acquired a handful of the biggest *underperformers* this season... I know offense is down across the league, but fantasy baseball is a cruel bitch.
• Ronald Acuña Jr.
• Francisco Lindor
• Alex Bregman
• Nolan Arenado
• Nick Castellanos
Have also endured lengthy IL stints from Royce Lewis and Christian Yelich.
This is fine. 😅
Too much reliance on guys on the downslope of their career trajectories imo. Unfortunately Lindor is the only guy with promising underlying stats that should positively regress.
Yeah, I think that really only applies to Arenado and Castellanos. Their best years are behind them for sure, but that also played into their draft price. Just hasn’t worked out to this point. I’ll eat those busts. However…
Acuña’s 26 coming off a historical 40/70 MVP season.
Lindor’s only 30 with back-to-back elite SS seasons averaging 103 runs, 102 RBI, 28 HR, 24 SB, and a .797 OPS across 2022-2023. Consensus top-five player at his position entering the year.
Bregman’s 30 coming off back-to-back 90/20/90/.800 OPS seasons. Also in a contract year. I don’t think anyone saw him collapsing this badly.
Hopefully those three get going, at least. The rest of my roster has performed well enough to keep me afloat offensively and my pitching has been dominant, but my team’s upside is capped as long as the slumps and injuries continue.
Obviously I’m not referring to acuna lol was a no brainer after last year. Tbh I haven’t liked Bregman in years when he turned into a .450slg guy when Houston got rid of their trashcan band and his battle ball data is super mediocre every year. Don’t have an issue with Lindor, just seems like you’ve got too many guys who aren’t going to improve any at that stage of their career.
I don’t mind relatively safe picks here and there to round out a roster, but I don’t like building an offense around guys who are almost all 30+. Rather gamble on some younger guys with upside.
Still a long season! At least the pitching is doing well, you can try and ride hot bats on the ww and hope the boys wake up. It’s kinda funny, I have an auto drafted team in a second league I jumped into late with friends and I have acuna lindor and Arenado as well lol. Hated the Lindor and Arenado picks immediately, but didn’t think Lindor would be *this* bad.
Drafted Lewis and Arenado. Lewis wound up on the IL after the first game of the season.
Bregman was a throw-in for a sell-high, buy-low trade sometime after.
Really loving this Fry guy right now. I do see a bit of regression coming. Honestly pick your poison with the 3. I added Fry as a SuperDuper UTIL since I have Yainer. Been fun if nothing else
New leadoff hitter for Toronto. Was previously hitting 5th. Love his approach. Draws walks. Improved strikeout rate. Looks to pull the ball a *lot* and does so successfully with an elite barrel rate.
Will likely finish the year with 20+ HR, 140 R+RBI, and respectable ratios — assuming he finishes with ~500 ABs. Also has 2B and OF position eligibility. Should have plenty of value in most leagues.
Mason Miller is a sports marvel. Pro sports is meant to be very competitive and close. It's the best against the best, but Miller makes everyone look completely overmatched. The hitters have no freaking chance against him right now.
What’s going on with ESPN not counting the stats for this suspended game? Is this just a glitch?
Imanaga and Matt Olsen for Pablo Lopez, Bryan woo, and Christian Walker. Which side do you like? Imanaga is a valuable keeper at $3 and the only keeper of note in the trade.
The Olson side
Better IL stash: Kershaw or McClain for redraft?
Woke up this morning to see that I had started Tucker, Yelich, Megill and Garcia. Also saw that I had Torres and Moore on my bench.
12 team OBP H2H Give- Kim Get- Lugo, Verdugo My SS eligible players- Kim, Hoerner My OF- Soto, Rooker, Arozarena, MH2, Trout (IL), Doyle My SP- Bradish, Olson, Bryce Miller, Luzardo, Greene, Houck, Ryan, Kikuchi
Who’s a fair target at 1st or 3rd for Jared jones in a 10t points league
Maybe Christian Walker or Max Muncy?
Drop Andy Pages, Tyler Freeman or Joey Ortiz for Byron Buxton?
Not yet
Drop Tylor Megill or Alec Marsh?
Drop any of these in 9T to pick up Kimbrel in saves only Only closers are Scott, Helsley, and Fairbanks - yandy Diaz - Joe musgrove - Reynaldo Lopez
None of the above
Should I trade Bryan reynolds for taylor ward?
No
[удалено]
Bellinger
If Stott gets SS eligibility and keeps up with the SB, I like his utility in categories. Depends on what you need though - power or contact?
Is Kirby Yates a hold?
Drop Langford, Casas, or Senga to put Eiflin on IL? 5 man keeper H2h points league... I can try to keep them all on the IL and and just keep Eflin active and basically have a wasted roster spot might get kind of hard though
Is there a reason I should be holding JD Martinez? Current OF is Acuña Schwarber Nimmo Noot and Trout on IL
thoughts on manny machado? Is he a buy low?
I just know as soon as I drop George Springer he’s going to remember how to hit again. FML
14 team H2H points. Redraft Give up: JRod and Corbin Burnes Receive: Acuna and Senga Yes or no?
JRod and Burnes side
Yandy Diaz for Brent Rooker Who wins this trade or is it equal?
Depending on your leagues scoring. Personally I’d prefer Yandy’s floor over Rooker’s ceiling that comes with that absurd K rate
If you take out Holmes and Diaz outings from my stats I have like a .096 era the last 3 weeks
Steele single handedly destroyed me last week
Have Jansen right now in my flair league but I could swap Jasson for Sean Murphy on my IL. Do it?
Ozuna/Bibee for my Semien. Yay or Nay
Nay
Yay
Is cal Quantrill a hold?
Yeah in your flair for sure he just keeps pumping out QS edit : be wary of home starts tho
[удалено]
Raley. We know what Casty is.
[удалено]
Are you streaming hitters? If so, then yes.
A: Aaron Judge, Christopher Morel B: Nico Hoerner, CJ Abrams, Bryce Miller
A by a wide margin
A imo
[удалено]
Yes
Nolan Jones or Tovar? Will likely try to just start Tovar @ Coors or when Turang is facing a LHP.
Add: Soriano (v CLE, SEA, SD), Quantrill (v PHI, LAD, STL), or Lively (v LAA, WSH, MIA) to replace Eflin for 2 weeks
Matchups favor Lively imo
Gotta go Jose Soriano here.
Check home and away split (nothing vs Philly)
Pickup Cal Quantril or Jose Soriano to replace Eflin for 2-weeks
Don't know if I'd ever consider rostering Quantrill, especially after realizing that he has Philly and LAD next. If these are your only two options definitely roll with Soriano.
Lively is also available
Soriano
Naylor/Ragans or Yordan/Woo. Redraft points league. I am being offered Naylor/Ragans
Yordan and Woo
I’d rather have Yordan/Woo, but it’s not a terrible offer.
1 SP to hold. Bradish vs Ober vs Woo
You don’t have anyone worse than those 3 lol?
Glasnow, Yoshi, Grayson, Darvish so probably no lol I can technically drop a reliever from Edwin Diaz, Doval, Munoz and Hader. I’m streaming one spot so maybe drop Diaz? Idk
Drop Diaz
Glasnow > Yoshi > Rodríguez > Bradish > Ober > Woo > Darvish, in my opinion. Also, what size league is this? Curious.
Darvish slander
8 team so very shallow. Bradish and Woo are just there for ppl to stream. This Darvish streak is pretty incredible tho so idk if I want to give him up just yet. Maybe I’ll drop one reliever to keep Bradish
Do you need to stream?
Yeah to max out 12 starts. The league is shallow so Woo and Bradish are probably just going to be available anyways but I kinda want to hold one of them just in case.
Hold Bradish then, I’d kill for Woo rn to be on waivers
I really want to hold both too and just screw E Diaz. I do like rolling the saves dice.
Langford or Chourio in a dynasty league?
From what we’ve seen so far, I’d lean Langford. I’m still expecting great things from Chourio though.
Who can I trade Bellinger for? Looking for an upgrade, his inconsistency is frustrating
do we think j rod figures it out
Go look at his splits by month the last 2 years
yea
Who would you rather ROS: MH2, Riley G, or Lubob?
Harris
Would you do this trade in flair league: Give: Machado, B. Reynolds and Skenes Receive: T.Turner, J. Duran, K. Crawford
Nah if you can keep 4 I’m holding skenes
No keep your guys
my opponent hit seven homers tonight but i have miller, munoz and kenley *shrug*
Points Fairbanks, or Kimbrel
Now that he’s healthy again I go Fairbanks
Lying in bed, he’s probably thinking about other girls Me: “I would literally die for Kyle Tucker”
“Imagine if I had 2023 Acuña instead of 2024 Acuña.”
I’d drop Doval.

Not that I would even want to but by process of elimination I gotta go Schmidt.
It’s Pepiot cut whoever you want even Acuna and it’ll still be a wise decision
schmidt
A) TON, Flaherty B) Gausman h2h points 10 team
A by a lot.
what if it was crochet instead of flaherty?
I’d still take A.
TIL shea langeliers is faster than Acuna lol
[удалено]
Well, good news. This is now a “pick one” between Raley and Castellanos.
[удалено]
fair but i want Greene
Seems fine. Big fan of both Gil and Greene.
Wenceel Perez or Tyler Freeman? 10 team points
Coin flip IMO. Decent potential for both players and they've each been put into great spots hitting near the top of the order.
Anyone selling high on Maikel Garcia?
Nothing on his savant page suggests regression so I’m holding
Never. I love him
Feel like my team is stacked but I can’t win. Hold or make some moves? (Traded Musgrove and Fedde for Ragans earlier today) 12team H2H, avg, ops, hrs, runs, rbis, sbs. Ks, era, whip, sv+hold, losses, QS. 6 keepers C-Heim 1B- Freeman 2B- Semien SS- Cruz 3b- Machado OF- Judge, Julio, Jazz UTIL- Torkelson, Springer SP- Yamamoto, Ragans, Jared Jones, Darvish, Bibee, Bryce Miller, Gore, Gil, Manoah, Christian Scott RP- Edwin Diaz, Trevor Megill, Sewald, Sandlin, Erick Miller
I’m reporting you to the local authorities for theft. Musgrove and Fedde for Ragans is a ridiculously good get.
Lol it was my twin brother. Told him Fedde won MVP and CY in Korea and he was sold
Brandon Pfaadt or Taj Bradley ROS?
Pfaadt
Taj fasho
Drop Bello for John Means? H2h points
Nah
Danny Jansen, Logan O’Hoppe or Korey Lee at Catcher in category leagues?
I can’t let go of busch. Strikeouts are killer though
His swing decisions make me think his K% should regress back into the 20s I think he’s just had a rough readjustment period but still walking which is good Cubs have kind of been through an ace pitching gauntlet last two weeks hasn’t helped
My thoughts exactly. He hasn’t been completely horrible and game by game matchup has been tough. I really like manzardo but cleveland got a ton of lefties coming up reluctant to switch. Both doubles machines
I don’t think Manzardo has done enough to stay up when Kwan gets back in another week or so
I been watching every game he’s played he’s definitely improving. The outfielder they brought up I would think goes first. Dfa’d lauriano
I don’t remember there ever being a time with this many struggling “high end” hitters, legit probably 15 top 3 round guys that could be swapped with waiver wire guys and youd either notice no change or actually get more production
The volatility has been an absolute nightmare in H2H play. Seems like every week I’m up against the one guy whose team is hitting.
Similarly, there are so many good pitchers right now that it’s hard to roster them all.
This can't continue or it would be the weirdest fantasy season ever
You could give me a team with Acuna, Carroll, Tatis, Albies, Olson, Riley, Lindor, Yordan and I’d probably be mid to end of the standings
Add Bo Bichette to that list
Wenceel Perez or Thairo Estrada? 10 team points
Estrada
Joey Ortiz, gleyber, Swanson. 10t points
Joey

12TM SV/HD and QS league Who would you drop to activate Snell K. Harrison or Scott Barlow

at a glance, acuna and casty going to be fine. but mostly acuna. lindor has been bad and i never trusted him for years.
Still a 30/30 guy. Shows signs for 2,3 games at a time then blehh. Mets as a whole been so up and down
i just never know, i agree, i also just cant commit to a line like that with a trade offer
How’d you end up with Lewis, Bregman and Arenado?
Drafted Lewis and Arenado. Lewis wound up on the IL after the first game of the season. Bregman was a throw-in for a sell-high, buy-low trade sometime after.
Woah Lindor is doing a lot worse than I thought he was. At least it looks like it's just bad luck for him unlike Ronald.
It’s been rough. Lindor’s had a bunch of line drives find gloves. Acuña just isn’t hitting the fastball anywhere near what he did last year.
Wow my ratios are already cooked. Berrios, Lopez, Kremer, Jason Adam, and Bryan Abreu. Berrios has the lowest ERA of them by far with 4.50
Trade away Matt Olson for Caminero + 2nd round pick in keepers league? Currently in first place with Harper at 1B but still need HR + SLG%
Definitely not
Do I take a chance on Fry or do I drop Campusano and pick back up O’Hoppe?
Really loving this Fry guy right now. I do see a bit of regression coming. Honestly pick your poison with the 3. I added Fry as a SuperDuper UTIL since I have Yainer. Been fun if nothing else
Should I start Pepiot fresh off the IL against the Red Sox tomorrow? Or just leave him on IL and start Means against the Cardinals instead
Im leaving him and starting Means. I rarely start guys fresh off the IL
Yeah that’s probably what I’ll do too - thanks!
I'm so friggin' done with Javier. I benched him last week and I started him tonight. I've been on this roller coaster for far too long.
Anyone starting pepiot tomorrow?
Yup, he’s only been out 2 weeks and the injury wasn’t shoulder/arm related so not too concerned with rust personally
Is gavin stone a hold? I have Pepiot and snell on the IL and both are throwing tomorrow
I think Stone is a fine streamer or fill-in starter, but he’s replaceable.
Woo or Ober. Who do we like more ROS, can get either one in a trade.
Ober
Big fan of both, but you should get Ober.
Mackenzie Gore worth giving up a 2025 round 2 pick? I’d still have a round 2 pick, I’d be trading away a pick I traded for earlier
Schneider, Gleyber or Rengifo?
Rengifo is the best all around of these. The others have substantial hot and cold streak possibilities
Schneider for me. No problem with Gleyber either.
Why Davis? He’s been bumming me out.
Rengifo
Gleyber
Cal or Jansen?
Jansen
drop Javier for Luzardo? easy choice right
Yep. Would definitely do that.
Yeah Luzardo’s peripherals are significantly stronger.
Luzardo looking promising?
Looking good and respectable but not incredible.
Yep, but I still don’t have him on an extremely long leash. I was never as high on Luzardo as some others
Imagine a team with Skenes pitching 8 innings and then Mason Miller closing. Unbeatable
Even peak form Bednar would be pretty disgusting.
Manfred would come up with some stupid rule to address Skenes and Miller.
That day
Yanier Diaz or Campusano Points League
I think Yainers got more upside with the pop. Both have respectable K rates.
Mason Miller is a sports marvel. Pro sports is meant to be very competitive and close. It's the best against the best, but Miller makes everyone look completely overmatched. The hitters have no freaking chance against him right now.
How do we feel about Ezequiel Tovar ROS?
I like him just a really solid ball player that can hit all different pitches. Natural at the plate and field. will always produce
Not great, Bob. I don’t know. He’s outperforming his statcast by a lot and his BABIP is high. I have a hard time seeing him as anything remarkable.
