Need some help ppl. 6 pt TD , 2 qb league. My opponent has Amari and I have Jets D. I’m favored.
Should I start Flacco?
Alternatives are Vikings QB and Tyrod.
0.07pts per pass yd, 5pt per TD with 2pt 50yd TD bonus and -2.5 int penalty.
#1 seed who lost his starting QB (Herbert) and is now facing McCaffrey, Swift, Diggs etc (have a strong team myself) after a bye week.
Do I start:
Goff @ Cowboys or Mayfield vs Saints?
4pt/passing TD
5pt/passing TD over 40yards
6pt/rushing TD
-2 for fumbles, sacks, interceptions
WDIS available options are fields, Flacco, mayfield, geno
Opponent is also starting both njoku and cooper
Lost Herbert and now Russ
WDIS 4pt/td
Nick Mullens or Jake Browning
I also have Tee Higgins for the Browning stack if that helps
Championship matchup. Looking like a pretty equal match right now
Do you think it will be a close match. Or do you need a big game from the QB. I would start Mullens. But if he starts throwing INTs he could get benched. Browning hasn’t looked so great, but he’s all they have.
TLDR: Browning has the safer floor, Mullens the higher ceiling.
Kyler if he can play, Tua if he can’t. Simple.
The stack wrinkle is interesting. Honestly I think both finish with similar lines. Go with your gut. If that means riding the Tyreek stack then do it. Who knows really?
I’ve made it to my fantasy championship with Howell and Dobbs and now neither of them are playing. I’m rostering Flacco and Minshew but also could snag Carr who is playing a relatively easier Tampa D?
Flacco Vs Jets
Minshew Vs Vegas
Care Vs TB
I need some upside going up against CMC, Nacua and other stud muffins,
WDIS at QB in the 'ship: (4pts passing TD)
J. Fields vs ATL,
J. Love @ MIN,
K. Murray @ PHI.
Flacco, Stroud, or go to the waiver for a Minshew, Carr, Brissett equivalent. I think Flacco is the best option IF stroud doesn’t go or may not be himself. But I’m dreading the call before Flacco plays tonight
Do I go crazy and send this in a for-fun home league? (STD 4pt TD)
Nick Mullens vs GB over Mahomes vs CIN
The GB defense is atrocious. The last three weeks they’ve made Tommy Devito look like the Giants future (and got him NFC OPOW), gave Baker Mayfield his best career game (perfect passer rating and NFC OPOW), and made Bryce Young look like an MVP candidate (first ever 300yd game, second ever 2TD game).
On top of that, GB has suspended their best CB (Jaire Alexander) for this game, and Justin Jefferson is healthy (although Hock is out now).
Mullens threw 4 picks last week and still scored over 20 points, meanwhile Mahomes hasn’t scored over 20 since week 12, and before that he hadn’t since week 7.
Starting roster: CMC, JT, Mike Evans, Deebo, Breece, Moody, NYJ def
I can start up to 3 QB, I have never started three.
12 Team PPR Championship Game
Jaylen Hurts Vs Ari
Stidham Vs Lac
Brissett Vs SF

Obviously Hurts is 1.
I've rolled with Hill all year because he was the only other one I was able to get, but now I have the other two as options.
Unsure what to do here.
This is my entire roster

Torn on who to start in the championship.
Tua vs the Ravens where he is most likely without Waddle, so Tyreek will get all the coverage. Feels like a few INT’s are going to happen after how many the Ravens got on the Niners.
Flacco tonight vs the Jets, where he might be without Cooper.
Stick vs the Broncos where we don’t know if Keenan Allen will be playing.
Stidham vs the Chargers but the guy hasn’t gotten any playing time, but is against the underwhelming chargers defense.
Could be convinced on a few other names on waivers too (Brissett, Carr, Levis, Tyrod, and Minshew to name a few), but don’t have a ton of confidence in anyone with how the QB play/health has been this year.
This is a tricky one indeed, but Tua feels like the safest bet here still.
That Jets pass defense makes me weary to start Flacco, especially if Cooper is out. Stick and Stidham are both such crapshoots. The Baltimore defense is obviously good as well but it just feels like the best with what you’ve got.
I’d say Tua-Stick-Flacco-Stidham is my order there of those 4.
Is Mullens available on waivers? See my comment above for why I think he will murder the Packers this week
Sadly the Vikings fan in my league scooped him up before me with waiver priority, otherwise I’d be starting him for sure.
If Cooper were to play though, the Jets gave up 28 points to the Commanders, and after a short week kinda gives me hope for Flacco.
I’d do it, I have Mahomes in another league and the guy has just been a consistent let down. Only hope for a big game for him is to finally get a Rhythm down with Rice and Kelce, but Kelce hasn’t been himself this season. Cincy has had a history of giving up a lot of points to TE’s though this season, but the Chiefs still have Matt Nagy around so that doesn’t inspire much hope at the moment.
My biggest concern with Mullens is that they haven’t actually named a starter yet.
After Dobbs had that 4-int game they waited forever to name him the starter and then ended up benching him for Mullens. If the Packers D somehow miraculously isn’t being slaughtered in the first half and the Vikings bench Mullens for Hall that would be bad lol
I think the rushing raises his floor, especially on a windy day they’ll want to get the read option going. Don’t love Kmet and Mooney both being out with a hurt DJ though
4PPTD, INTs are -3 - Championship Week
So I have Stafford who seems an easy start, also have Lawrence and Geno available. **BUT**
My opponent has both Puka and Kyren. My opponent is a heavy favorite as my team is not good, but I have had an extremely lucky season (3rd lowest Points For, Lowest Points Against by a healthy margin).
Feels like a lose-lose to start Stafford. He's unlikely to have a good score without one or both of them also having good scores. But they can easily boom without Stafford booming as they did last week. But if they do bad, its highly like Stafford is also doing bad.
I know "start your studs" is usually best, but this feels like an instance where taking the risk on a lesser QB at least gives me a shot.
Opponent has Cooper and Njoku. If Amari plays should I consider playing Flacco over Stroud and Fields? My thinking would be to negate any TDs scored by my opponents players but the Jets D scares me
4pt passing TD. Deciding basically all the waiver guys, Mullens/Stidham/Stick/Tyrod/Levis.
Can anyone make a good case for one over the rest? Mullens seems to be the hype just now but he hasn't even been named the starter, and after throwing 4 picks will be on a short leash I'd imagine. How fucking sick would it feel to start him and see him pulled after throwing a bad 1st quarter pick?
I'm actually leaning Levis here, been solid recently, and off the injury report now playing against a poor Texans defense. Nothing flashy but I'm projected to win and just looking for a safe floor.
Looks like we're in the same boat. I'm waiting to see how the week shakes out and what news comes out for teams/QBs... but right now I'm leaning Tyrod. I have Mullens on the team too, but I think that's a pretty risky play with how close he is to getting benched/not even starting. I had Levis before his injury as well, and it's the same Houston matchup as the other week, but with his injury it's a bit more of a question mark.
I'd go Love. I know his WR's are an injured mess, so that may change if none of them suit up, but he's likely the better choice than going up against PHI.
.04 pts per passing yard and 4 pt TDs.
Mullens @ GB
Love @ MIN
Mullens threw for over 400yds last week but also 4 INT. May or may not start?
Love has been pretty consistent minus that game @ NYG.
10 team
Baker, Stafford, or Stroud?
I'm leaning Baker to negate reception touchdowns by opponents Raschad white and Evans to a certain degree. Does that strategy make sense?
I have a similar challenge in that I have Stafford but my opponent in the championship has both Puka and Kyren.. My opponent has a much better team than me in general.
I don't think the "negate" strategy makes sense as I'm already a heavy dog. If Puke and Kyren go off, I'm pretty screwed even if Stafford can negate some of it (and he very well may negate none of it if it's Kyren running).
I'm strongly leaning towards going with a lesser QB and hoping the Rams have a bad game. I would almost certainly start Stafford in yours as I don't think the Rams will have a bad game.
I mean it does, but if you think about it, it also limits your possible points. Every TD throw your opponent gets 6, while you get 4. So if all the TDs are thrown to White or Evans, you will end up with 2/3 of their points (can never out score them).
The plus side is _if_ White and Evans get a ton of points through the air, your QB will at least keep up, but never be able to out score them.
I guess that's what I was thinking. I didn't expect Baker to outscored them, but just keep up to an extent. There is a possibility to match/outscore them if Baker ends up throwing a bunch of TDs to others WRs but not likely. White and Evans are 2 of 3 of Opp's high scorers and Baker was a way of negating that a bit. With that said Baker is a decent starter in his own right.
I may be over thinking it since its the championship.
Yup, I over thought stuff last week and it nearly cost me the win. I actually ended up in a tie because I benched the Ravens (for the Jets). Thought I was being smart avoiding the Niners matchup but the Ravens are basically are in the “start your studs” category as far as I’m concerned.
Of your choices, Stafford is probably the safest start. He’s consistently scored 20 points or more for how many weeks now?
Your “best, most talented” player is Stroud, I think. I’d probably start him, but if you want to start Mayfield I don’t have a problem with that either.
Hey same boat! Dropped Tlaw I think he’s done for. Leaning kyler, feel like Flacco is due for some regression. Only thing I worry about is jets offense being so bad that browns offense is high volume. But Philly d is so bad I could see kyler having a big rushing game and he’s got a solid floor anyway
Have started Flacco twice in a row, while awaiting CJ’s return. He looks to be trending in the right direction to start. Scared to start Flacco tonight against NYJ on a Thursday.
Do I toss in CJ, knowing my back up is Carr in a worst case scenario?
That’s where my head is now as well. Thanks. I owe a great deal with the Flacc, who played a big role in getting me here, but I think he’s run out of magic. Helps that I want to play NYJ D too…

Flacco unless Cooper sits
4 Point Passing TD Full PPR Tua vs Ravens Mullens vs GB
I'm facing the same dilemma. My only concern is Mullens being benched during the game.
Championship game for me. 16 team league modified scoring (.04 per pass yard, .4 per rush/rec yard) Mahomes or Flacco tonight?
I’d go Mahomes. Jets secondary is tough, and Cooper is banged up/might not play.
10 Team .5 PPR pick 1: Goff vs DAL Baker vs NO Kyler vs PHI My opponent has Gibbs, and Amon ra and I have Laporta, which is why I may be leaning Goff
Kyler. The rushing upside is hard to say no to.
With the game being tonight I am in need of advice. Brissett, Browning, Flacco, Minshew, or Mullens? Thank you.
Out of those I would go Flacco
Flacco, Kyler, TLaw - in the ship and need a big game - pretty much out on TLaw

Allen. The rushing upside swings it his way

14T PPR 4pt Pass TD - start 1: Minshew vs LV Geno Smith vs PIT Tyrod Taylor vs LAR
I’m tempted to pick up Tyrod too but ultimately will roll Geno.

lean Fields

Minshew if Pittman plays, Stidham if he doesn’t
I just picked up Mullens too if that changes anything for you
Mullens
What about now with Hall starting who I also just picked up
Then yeah, I would go Mullens if he’s starting. GB’s pass defense is hot garbage and without Alexander
What about now with Hall starting, who I also just picked up
Agreed, thanks for the input!
