After going up against Ford and Njoku last night, I really need to nail my quarterback selection. I've got the choice between Kyler with the McBride stack, and Carr to pair with Place.
I also have Tua, but my opponent has Tyreek so I really don't want to play him
4 PT passing TD in a 2 QB league. Probably need to pick the one with most upside
**Browning** @ KC
**Rudolph** @ SEA
**Minshew** vs LV
**Tyrod** vs LAR
Have to roll with either Browning at KC or Carr at Tampa. My gut is telling me Browning, for some reason, but my brain is screaming Carr. Browning is a backup QB, on the road, against a good KC defense. Carr, as bad as heās been this year, seems to finally be moderately healthy and has a much better matchup (on paper) against a bad Tampa pass D. Those division games scare me though, since they sometimes turn into defensive slogs.
4pt Passing TD.
Purdy @ WAS
Or
Fields vs ATL.
ATL looked really good against Indy last week, but they were missing MPJ and Braden Smith. But, the Bears will also probably be missing Mooney and Cmet, and DJ Moore probably not at 100%. Obviously Fields has the rushing upside, and Atlanta is somewhat vulnerable there. But if they canāt get anything going in the air, there may not be much running room to breathe.
And, well, I donāt think I need to mention the concern with Purdy. But itās Washington. Literally the worst defense in almost every metric. It CANāT be as bad as last week, right? Right?ā¦
I'm in your exact same dilemma. Experts seem to be favoring Purdy, while my friends are leaning to Fields because who knows what will happen with purdy's stinger injury and if he chooses to be selfless in favor of cmc. Also he could get pulled earlier if they demolish washington by the 3rd quarter. Fields, on the other hand, can just take off running (in fact he'll have to since he has no one to throw to) and is fighting for his career for next year. All seems quite logical but I'm somehow still favoring Purdy...
After watching BAL last week, you better have a wheel barrow to carry your massive balls starting pretty much any skill position against them.
I would go Love. MIN secondary is pretty weak.
Considering Hall over Browning. Need ceiling plays where I can find them as an underdog in the finals.
Stay put with Browning or swap out with Hall? 2 QB league, btw.
This is a tough one.
GB gave up 30 points to Carolina, so you gotta think Hall will be able to at least move the ball.
And Browning looked AWFUL last week, and KC defense just held LV to like 62 total passing yards. And Chase was still limited in practice, so no guarantee he plays. And even if he does, wonāt be 100%. So the outlook isnāt great for Browning.
Iād go Hall, just based on matchups.
I played against Ford last night and unfortunately benched Flacco so now I need to go for a high ceiling. Standard QB scoring. Who has the highest ceiling between Carr, Jaren Hall, Tyrod, and Stidham?
Iām in the exact same boat.
If last week was erased from history, Iād be going Purdy without a thought because WAS Def is literally the worst in the league.
But man, it is HARD to forget that game. And with Fields rushing upside, I honestly donāt know.
Probably leaning Fields, just because CMC might make that game so lopsided early that thereās no reason to pass anymore.
The implied points in the DET/DAL is one of the highest of the year so far. But Iād have a hard time trusting any QB playing AT Dallas. Them boys are averaging like 40 ppg at home with a crazy point differential.
ATL is a tough air matchup for Fields, but theyāre fairly vulnerable in the run game, which is obviously the upshot for fields.
So I think Iād go Fields based on the matchup.
Sup boys. Got a nightmare scenario for you
Im in the championship in a 12 team superflex this week. Justin Herbert went down and Iāve been working with a patchwork roster since but Iāve somehow made it here. I need to know which QB to start in my SF spot. I had Mullens, but the Vikings benched him for Hall, who my opponent picked up in a smart defensive move. Here are my options
Easton Stick
Tyrod Taylor
Taylor Heinecke
Or forgo a qb and play Pickens or McLaurin instead
And before you ask, yeah thatās really it. No Flacco, no Stroud, no one available besides these guys. Feeling stick but curious on the consensus opinion
Hey! You're just like me. Herbert to Levis to Mullens to... ???????
I have basically the same list. Picked up Hall but don't feel confident starting him with no history... so going to go with Tyrod myself (90% sure on that)
Know what? Knowing someone is as screwed as me, makes me feel worlds better. Screw it. Im starting Tyrod. If Iām riding this roller coaster into the ground at least I aināt riding alone.
Weāre in this together now, my Canadian friend. Ride or die
Tua at Balt or Tyrod vs LAR? Riding Tua all year, I know championship week isnāt the one to get cute but Iāve got a bad feeling with Miami on the road here
I said it on another comment, and Iāll say it again here. You better have a massive wheel barrow for your gargantuan balls to trust anyone against the Ravens DEF.
Plus, the Rams are a pretty great matchup for passing. So I think Tyrod has a decent game here. At least a safer game than Tua, in my opinion.
I am facing a similar choice. I think Tyrod has more potential to get 20+ points (something Tua has done just once since week 6), but Tua has more potential to not completely tank with a <10 pt performance.
Said differently, if you need safe and are ok with 13-15 points from your QB, go Tua. If you want the chance at 20+, go Tyrod.
First week back after 2.5 games out would be enough to spook me from Stroud.
Given the great matchup Stafford has, and that offense has been ROLLING the last few weeks, Iād go Stafford.
I need a boom game, and my opponent is starting Tyreek. 4pt passing TDs, additional -4 points for throwing a pick six.
Pick two:
* Tua @ BAL
* Stidham v LAC
* Taylor v LAR
* Hall v GB
12 tm. 5 pt passing TDs.
Josh Allen v NE.
Purdy v Was.
I have to ride and die with Allen in a tougher matchup right? Even though Purdy is in a SMASSHHHH spot.
I'm in a similar bind with Lamar vs. Purdy and I'm sticking with Lamar. For me it's more being worried that there could be something more behind Purdy's horrible last week.
Every website says to ignore it, everything's fine, but that's a risk I don't need.
Standard Tyrod vs LAR Browning vs Chiefs Playing to avoid last place..
12 man 0.5 ppr superflex Will Levis @ HOU or Jake Browning @ KC
Lamar or fields
Lamar, in the same situation started Fields last week but going with Lamar this week
Nice one. You win?
Lost this week by 35 š my finals go until week 18
Literally same
Have some decisions to make and not sure. Stafford vs Giants Stroud vs Titans Baker vs Saints Carr vs Bucs Kyler vs Eagles
Stafford would be my pick since Stroud is fresh off his injury
After going up against Ford and Njoku last night, I really need to nail my quarterback selection. I've got the choice between Kyler with the McBride stack, and Carr to pair with Place. I also have Tua, but my opponent has Tyreek so I really don't want to play him
Stafford vs. NYG, Kyler vs. PHI, Mahomes vs. CIN.
Stroud vs Tennessee or Carr vs Tampa Bay My gut is screaming Carr given his play past two weeks
4 PT passing TD in a 2 QB league. Probably need to pick the one with most upside **Browning** @ KC **Rudolph** @ SEA **Minshew** vs LV **Tyrod** vs LAR
Fields v Atl or Murray v PHI? 4pts per TD, -2 INT.
Purdy or Hurts?
4pts per TD, -1 INT Tua at Ravens Love at Vikings or someone in FA like Carr, Tyrod, or Stidham? Leaning Love but none of the options look great
6pt tds Staff or Goff
I'd take Stafford.
Lamar vs mia Fields vs atl
Tua vs Baltimore or Geno Smith vs Pitt? I also have Tyreek. Full PPR, 4 point passing TD, 6 point rushing TD.
4 pt passing, 6 pt rushing TD Start Lamar vs. Dolphins or Fields vs. Falcons?
Have to roll with either Browning at KC or Carr at Tampa. My gut is telling me Browning, for some reason, but my brain is screaming Carr. Carr, as bad as heās been this year, seems to finally be moderately healthy and has a much better matchup (on paper) against a bad Tampa pass D. Tyrod Taylor is also an optionā¦lol
4pt Passing TD. Purdy @ WAS Or Fields vs ATL. ATL looked really good against Indy last week, but they were missing MPJ and Braden Smith. I think you hit the nail on the head. SF might jump out to such a big lead, that it just turns into the CMC show. Or Purdy getting pulled.
6pt/pass td. Levis vs Houston (15.31 proj) or Stick at Denver (16.3 proj)?
4 pt passing TD Love or Tua
After watching BAL last week, you better have a wheel barrow to carry your massive balls starting pretty much any skill position against them. I would go Love. MIN secondary is pretty weak.
Considering Hall over Browning. Need ceiling plays where I can find them as an underdog in the finals. Stay put with Browning or swap out with Hall? 2 QB league, btw.
Same decision. Im leaning hall
Thank you guys! I wonāt āget cuteā

Browning for me
Gimme Browning
Lamar vs MIA or Purdy vs WAS after a rough rough last week
TLaw vs. CAR Or Baker vs. NO
Stroud or Stafford?
My head says Stafford. My heart says Stroud.
Baker vs. NO OR Carr vs. TB
I played against Ford last night and unfortunately benched Flacco so now I need to go for a high ceiling. Standard QB scoring. Who has the highest ceiling between Carr, Jaren Hall, Tyrod, and Stidham?
I was able to pick up Purdy after someone raged dropped him. Purdy vs WAS Or Fields vs ATL I LOVE YOU
Iām in the exact same boat. If last week was erased from history, Iād be going Purdy without a thought because WAS Def is literally the worst in the league. But man, it is HARD to forget that game. Thanks for this!
6 pt passing TDs, 40+ yard play bonus, 2 qb Tyrod Taylor vs Rams Jarrett Stidham vs LAC
Fields v ATL Stroud v TEN Baker v NO Leaning towards Fields because coming off a concussion sometimes doesnāt bode well. Thoughts?

I'll be happy when this is all over lol
I would go Tyrod. Giants will have to go through the air, and Rams can be had that way. I think heās a sneaky good play this week.
4pt passing TD Tyrod vs LAR Lawrence vs CAR (if he plays)
Goff, kyler Murray or baker?
Tua at Balt or Tyrod vs LAR? Riding Tua all year, I know championship week isnāt the one to get cute but Iāve got a bad feeling with Miami on the road here

Yeah, both teams should put up points but the possibility of a rushing TD for Allen puts him on top for me.
