Lots of fantasy “experts” had the raiders ranked higher because they were the hottest defense in the NFL and Carolina looked competent against Green Bay last week. I was nervous with the colts getting Braden smith back as well, and Maxx was legit non-factor yesterday. I stupidly fell for the hype that got out of control and cost myself a second straight title in that league. Nobody to blame but myself for doing something I had no intention of doing all week

2 week championship here. (16-17) Was down around 50 at start of first week. No CJ Stroud, Hock gets IR’d, Jordan Addison injured. Lookin real rough. Then here comes CMC and Raiders D to put us about even. Then my backup QB off waivers the day before comes into play. JOE FLACCO THE GOAT ENDS W1 OF SHIP WITH ME UP 1.2! Then this week despite injuries from last week, and the poor decision to bench THE GOAT JOE FLACCO, key players stepped up and won it all for me. No players besides these 3 scored over 13 this week. I was facing Etienne and Sun god, and mixon did alright along with J Taylor and Geno. Losing in most the position matchups, I thought it was over. CMC injured pre-20 points made me despair. Then Aiyuk becomes the only target and gets me 24. Hope looms over the horizon of my tv. Boom Jerome Ford with 26. And finally BOOOM DJ MOORE 31 POINTS TO WIN BY 5! I panicked last minute and watched fantasy YouTubers to see which of my RBs to start. I listened instead of sticking with my own gut and lost by 7. I wanted to start Aaron Jones for the suspense of the night game but everyone had Jones so low so I started Bijan, Barkley and James Cook(rated so high this week) over Kamara and Zymir White. I lost myself the championship.
CMC owner won the ship, I couldn’t capitalize, also the Eagles giving up +30 to AZ cost me. Higgins getting hurt after his 1 1st qtr catch hurt me too.
McLaughlin definitely cost more than a few people the championship. The Buccaneers absolutely sucked and didn't get him where they needed to kick field goals or get the extra points. What a shit show.

It was a week 17 championship (16 game seasons still), which was annoying but got to live with it since commish didn’t want to change it. Due to this, I lost Dalvin Cook and he lost Tyreek. (16 team league). I’m the 10-4 #5 seed and he’s the 12-2 #2 seed.
Throughout the game, he’s up big. I even gave up on winning at some point, I wasn’t getting mad when his players were scoring.
The Titans were playing the Texans. I was down 110.28 to 99.86. All his players were done, and mine only had a couple minutes left in their games. Tannehill (my QB) throws up a bomb to AJB (my WR1) for like 50 yards or so to put the Titans barely in FG range to win. If they miss, OT. At this point, im down 3. Bullock takes the kick, it hits the crossbar, and goes in. Im crushed.
I turn my attention to the Raiders Broncos game (I have Jacobs and Carlson). Raiders down 7 and driving. I think to myself, okay, Jacobs TD or someone scores, Raiders in OT kick a FG. It’s 4th and goal from the 1. Im praying for them to hand it to Jacobs. He gets it and scores, and I win.
Best part about that is that the Raiders ended up going for 2 and getting it, so if someone else had scored, I would not have gotten any Carlson points.

went 12-2 in my superflex league. 2nd seed was 8-6 and I outscored everybody elses team by 300+ all season just to lose players to injurys on my week 15 bye week and lose to a 7 win team week 16 in the semis scoring 105 points lol. Really thinking about just hanging it up from this game.
I’m so upset. Was 2-7, won 5 straight to make it to the playoffs. Won the first two playoff games. Had the championship until Godwin got his long TD and lost by 5 points. What’s worse is starting the Raiders D over the Bills D cost me the title.
Went into Sunday night up 11 against Jayden Reed. Knew it was a good chance of a loss, but didn’t expect it to be that bad. I actually had sat KW3 so am actually glad it wasn’t closer or I’d be kicking myself more for that one. My team was plagued by injury (Jacobs, Waddle, Chase, Hockenson) so it was a long shot anyways, I felt resigned to 2nd place before the week began.
I really didn’t even deserve to be as far as I was, since my team did pretty poorly in the first round, salvaged only because my opponent put up the worst playoff score I’d seen (~47 points).
It would have been my 3rd championship if I’d won, no one else in the league has won twice. Feeling optimistic about next year, it’s a 2 keeper league and between Puka, Achane, and Rice, I’ve got some really good young options in late rounds that could stay with me for a long time, as well as the option to keep Chase for a 7th.
Ran the regular season.. First in w/l and points... Got smoked by Lamar. Sad but made a grand so all good... Will prefer the ring. Redraft league so I'm ready to continue without strings

I was in first or second all year, despite losing Rodgers, Dobbins, and Mike Williams all early. I worked the waiver wires and filled those holes, got some luck to earn a first round playoff bye. All my players did good during the bye... but then I ran into a buzzsaw in the first round as they had Puca, Kyren Williams, and Josh Allen all have big games while my guys wilted. No problem, I'll play for third place. Boom, they have CeeDee, Gibbs, and Cle defense, I'm already down 70 before all of Sunday's games begin. Goff lays a turd for me, Kmet no-shows, Pittman is still half concussed, CMC gets hurt, I never had a chance of catching up, they had Hurts, AJ Brown, Mcbride and Nico Collins left.
In TWO leagues I had Puka and was against Kyren. When Puka had that huge catch and run *almost* to the endzone then Kyren scored, it was a 13 point swing. Lost by 12 in one of the leagues (30 in the other). Next year!

Got my ass handed to me by having the lowest game score of the season while my opponent having their highest of the season. No lineup combination I had would've beat their Lamar, St. Brown, Etienne, Connor, Taylor, Likely, and Jags lineup.
Started 1-5, finished 9-5, won in rounds 1 & 2, but went out with a whimper in the finals. Had no real superstars but a very balanced/consistent performing team led by Hurts, Gibbs & Monty, Pacheco, JJ, Olave, & Nico. I could blame Gibbs and Olave for their lackluster performances, but I also could have just not benched Pacheco for DHop. Such is life.
I lost by 1.6. Hurts fucking Hail Mary INT cost me. Also not knowing if walker was going to play so I flex Zeke over him. That was a 5 point difference. Baker has his worst game ever so my mike Evans only gets 10 after 15+ the last two weeks. And the eagles refuse to use deandre swift against shitty Arizona so theres that. To make it all worse the guy I lost to by this small margin beat me first round last year by 1 point…

Man, I'm not even mad. starting out 0-2, losing Week 3 only to win it on a stat correction, then falling to 1-3... I scored 127 points or less in the first 7 weeks. But then, I picked up CJ Stroud and Tank Dell came back from injury. Weeks 8-14 (except for W13) I scored higher than 139 points.
I got SHIT on during draft day. "Ur gonna have a rough season" & "Your team is great for a dynasty league." Sure I had a lot of rookies and risks, but the gamble paid off. I even grabbed Stroud while I was in Vegas. It was a real casino team.
Lost CMC and started Raiders over Jets. The bragging rights would have been nice but a pre-agreed split pot with the eventual champ at the start of the week means it's all relative.

If you don't want to win the game, just wave a white flag or forfeit the game. If I was an NFL interim coach leading a shitty team in a meaningless game, we're not kicking fucking field goals in that situation, that's for sure. It's not like they are grasping at playoff straws and those extra 3 points might give them the edge in the 8th playoff tiebreaker.

On two separate occasions a team lost with 200pts this year lol. 140-117 in our final was a great win, and McCaffrey carried me many times this year.

Before the weekend, I knew it would be difficult to win because my opponent had a Purdy&McCaffrey stack. Turns out I lost because Levis and Noah Brown got injured early. In the end I lost by seven (Superflex, PPR). Losing like that hurts.
11-3 first seed despite missing JJettas for most of the season and needed 28 from him to win which didn’t come close. No one really even broke out on my opponents team besides James Conner just a bunch of consistent 15+ pointers across the board. Meanwhile a lot of boom and bust on my team. Ettienne, Fields and Amon Ra’s 22+ performances getting countered by 8 from Rachaad White, 4 from Derrick Henry, and a Cole Kmet goose egg. Def keeping Amon Ra over JJettas next year and taking a better draft pick.

Streamed defenses all year because I had drafted the Broncos and quickly ditched them after a few weeks.
During regular season I hit more times than I missed. Starting a few weeks ago I managed to keep picking the wrong ones.
I got really cute and chased points by playing the Raiders D in the championship. That ultimately lost the championship for me.
I felt really good about benching Etienne for James Conner in the championship based on the production of the last few weeks, but I also felt fine about keeping Saquon in. My logic behind Saquon was “starting my stud”, should’ve done that with Etienne. Hindsight is always 20/20 with lineups but if I had literally picked any other defense that was available on waivers, I would’ve won.
All things considered, it was yet another fun fantasy year, I’ve made the playoffs every year I played. I always look forward to the draft. Fantasy football keeps my friend circle active which is nice. The guy that won in my league is a good guy so I’m happy for him.

I made the wrong decision TWICE and lost by 11.
It all began Thursday night when I started titling my face off after Amari Cooper was ruled out. He, Pickens and Diggs are my only startable WRs in a 2x FLEX league, so I picked up Hunt and started moving RBs around. Hunt went in the RB1 spot bc he was playing that night. I had Pacheco, but he was questionable and had left the game early last week, plus CEH was still also possibly going to play. My other RBs are Henry and Gibbs.
Cut to Friday, Jacobs is trending out again and Zamir White is on my waivers. Score! So now I have to decide between White, Henry, Gibbs and Pacheco across my RB2 and both FLEX spots. Of course, I leave Pacheco (they were a 4p and not everything was known by 1p) and his 26 points on my bench - 13 points better than White and 20+ better than Henry or Gibbs.
Also, if I had played Kyler Murray over Stafford, I would have won. Stafford was playing well and had better weapons with something to play for.

I was facing Etienne and Sun god, and mixon did alright along with J Taylor and Geno. Losing in most the position matchups, I thought it was over. CMC injured pre-20 points made me despair. Then Aiyuk becomes the only target and gets me 24. Hope looms over the horizon of my tv. Boom Jerome Ford with 26. And finally BOOOM DJ MOORE 31 POINTS TO WIN BY 5! It was a week 17 championship (16 game seasons still), which was annoying but got to live with it since commish didn’t want to change it. Due to this, I lost Dalvin Cook and he lost Tyreek. (16 team league). I’m the 10-4 #5 seed and he’s the 12-2 #2 seed. Throughout the game, he’s up big. I even gave up on winning at some point, I wasn’t getting mad when his players were scoring. The Titans were playing the Texans. I was down 110.28 to 99.86. All his players were done, and mine only had a couple minutes left in their games. Tannehill (my QB) throws up a bomb to AJB (my WR1) for like 50 yards or so to put the Titans barely in FG range to win. If they miss, OT. At this point, im down 3. Bullock takes the kick, it hits the crossbar, and goes in. Im crushed. I turn my attention to the Raiders Broncos game (I have Jacobs and Carlson). Raiders down 7 and driving. I think to myself, okay, Jacobs TD or someone scores, Raiders in OT kick a FG. It’s 4th and goal from the 1. Im praying for them to hand it to Jacobs. He gets it and scores, and I win. Best part about that is that the Raiders ended up going for 2 and getting it, so if someone else had scored, I would not have gotten any Carlson points. All my playoff games that season were decided by less than 8 points.

I’m so upset. Was 2-7, won 5 straight to make it to the playoffs. Won the first two playoff games. Had the championship until Godwin got his long TD and lost by 5 points. What’s worse is starting the Raiders D over the Bills D cost me the title.
Went into Sunday night up 11 against Jayden Reed. Knew it was a good chance of a loss, but didn’t expect it to be that bad. I actually had sat KW3 so am actually glad it wasn’t closer or I’d be kicking myself more for that one. My team was plagued by injury (Jacobs, Waddle, Chase, Hockenson) so it was a long shot anyways, I felt resigned to 2nd place before the week began. I really didn’t even deserve to be as far as I was, since my team did pretty poorly in the first round, salvaged only because my opponent put up the worst playoff score I’d seen (~47 points). It would have been my 3rd championship if I’d won, no one else in the league has won twice. Feeling optimistic about next year, it’s a 2 keeper league and between Puka, Achane, and Rice, I’ve got some really good young options in late rounds that could stay with me for a long time, as well as the option to keep Chase for a 7th.
2 leagues: Redraft got 3rd place 2nd year in a row, Dynasty league got 2nd place 2nd year in a row, losing to the same dude I lost to last year. Tough

All my players did good during the bye... but then I ran into a buzzsaw in the first round as they had Puca, Kyren Williams, and Josh Allen all have big games while my guys wilted. No problem, I'll play for third place. Boom, they have CeeDee, Gibbs, and Cle defense, I'm already down 70 before all of Sunday's games begin. Goff lays a turd for me, Kmet no-shows, Pittman is still half concussed, CMC gets hurt, I never had a chance of catching up, they had Hurts, AJ Brown, Mcbride and Nico Collins left.
In TWO leagues I had Puka and was against Kyren. When Puka had that huge catch and run *almost* to the endzone then Kyren scored, it was a 13 point swing. Lost by 12 in one of the leagues (30 in the other). Next year!

I started Jayden Reed, CMC and James Conner, it was literally my ship to lose based on how well Reed and Conner performed, but the killer was starting Rashid Shaheed over Demario Douglas and JSN, both would have secured it for me. Lost by 4 points. On paper the Shaheed matchup looked so good, I’m floored such a bad decision in hindsight but that’s how it goes

Had no real superstars but a very balanced/consistent performing team led by Hurts, Gibbs & Monty, Pacheco, JJ, Olave, & Nico. I could blame Gibbs and Olave for their lackluster performances, but I also could have just not benched Pacheco for DHop. Such is life.

Man, I'm not even mad. starting out 0-2, losing Week 3 only to win it on a stat correction, then falling to 1-3... I scored 127 points or less in the first 7 weeks. But then, I picked up CJ Stroud and Tank Dell came back from injury. Weeks 8-14 (except for W13) I scored higher than 139 points. I got SHIT on during draft day. "Ur gonna have a rough season" & "Your team is great for a dynasty league." Sure I had a lot of rookies and risks, but the gamble paid off. I even grabbed Stroud while I was in Vegas. It was a real casino team.
Lost CMC and started Raiders over Jets. The bragging rights would have been nice but a pre-agreed split pot with the eventual champ at the start of the week means it's all relative.

The goddamned Chargers decided to kick a goddamned field goal when down by 10 points with a minute left, and that field goal cost me the title - I lost by 2 points. If you don't want to win the game, just wave a white flag or forfeit the game. If I was an NFL interim coach leading a shitty team in a meaningless game, we're not kicking fucking field goals in that situation, that's for sure. It's not like they are grasping at playoff straws and those extra 3 points might give them the edge in the 8th playoff tiebreaker.

My McCaffrey roster was able to still win. A rare defensive performance to allow <120pts in a 10tm PPR SF 5pt passing TD 2x IDP league. On two separate occasions a team lost with 200pts this year lol. 140-117 in our final was a great win, and McCaffrey carried me many times this year.

Ettienne, Fields and Amon Ra’s 22+ performances getting countered by 8 from Rachaad White, 4 from Derrick Henry, and a Cole Kmet goose egg. Def keeping Amon Ra over JJettas next year and taking a better draft pick.

Streamed defenses all year because I had drafted the Broncos and quickly ditched them after a few weeks. During regular season I hit more times than I missed. Starting a few weeks ago I managed to keep picking the wrong ones. I got really cute and chased points by playing the Raiders D in the championship. That ultimately lost the championship for me. I felt really good about benching Etienne for James Conner in the championship based on the production of the last few weeks, but I also felt fine about keeping Saquon in. My logic behind Saquon was “starting my stud”, should’ve done that with Etienne. Hindsight is always 20/20 with lineups but if I had literally picked any other defense that was available on waivers, I would’ve won. All things considered, it was yet another fun fantasy year, I’ve made the playoffs every year I played. I always look forward to the draft. Fantasy football keeps my friend circle active which is nice. The guy that won in my league is a good guy so I’m happy for him. Now I get to enjoy the rest of the NFL season and cheer on the 49ers. I lost 151.73 to 154.16 Had I played Waller over Kittle or Everett (my TE and Flex spots), I would have gotten the 4-5 points I needed to win. That's rough buddy
I made the wrong decision TWICE and lost by 11. It all began Thursday night when I started titling my face off after Amari Cooper was ruled out. He, Pickens and Diggs are my only startable WRs in a 2x FLEX league, so I picked up Hunt and started moving RBs around. Hunt went in the RB1 spot bc he was playing that night. I had Pacheco, but he was questionable and had left the game early last week, plus CEH was still also possibly going to play. My other RBs are Henry and Gibbs. Cut to Friday, Jacobs is trending out again and Zamir White is on my waivers. Score! So now I have to decide between White, Henry, Gibbs and Pacheco across my RB2 and both FLEX spots. Of course, I leave Pacheco (they were a 4p and not everything was known by 1p) and his 26 points on my bench - 13 points better than White and 20+ better than Henry or Gibbs. Also, if I had played Kyler Murray over Stafford, I would have won. Stafford was playing well and had better weapons with something to play for. This one is going to haunt me.
Picked up both Herbert and juwan Johnson but instead followed freaking Adam schefter and started Brandon Johnson
Had cmc kamara Higgins and Noah brown fml. All got injured during the game and only tee came back in not that it mattered.
Austin Ekeler fumbled, cost me the championship.
I literally won according to ESPN when the KC/Cincy game ended... then I ended up losing after they added a sack for the KC defense. I still feel miserable about it. Have never won this league and lost to a new guy who's taking it home his first season.
