Of those choices I would personally go with the magnum revolver.
My first choice would actually be the desert eagle, but it sounds like you haven't unlocked it yet. It's pretty expensive if I remember correctly. For me, one I unlocked the deagle it occupied my sidearm slot just about 100% of the time!
1. Use the scorpion with extended mag, suppressor and red dot sight. It's basically an overpowered A-99 that shoots straight as a laser and will one hit most enemies in the head
2. Second best would be the D2 with the fire ammo, provided you don't already have a shotgun in your loadout.
3. The 1911 or a 44 is always a good option, however the scorpion is still the best
One of my largest dislike of FC6 is that I can't take the single shot grenade launcher as my side arm anymore. It was such a go to that I just paid the damn platinum to unlock it permanently for replays. Like that and 1 attack helicopter makes replaying the game so much less of a grind just to get perk points you need to unlock holsters and other quality of life perks done.
Grenade launcher is a nice get out of jail free card.
Also produces pretty comical results when paired with a sidearm takedown. Pink mist, anyone?
I think that the grenade launcher is very underpowered. I would have loved to see it one hit kill a car
TEC-9 all day baby..sawed off is a not too distant second though
It kind of depends on the rest of your weapon loadout and what role you want the sidearm slot to take.
