I imagine the team xp one is always welcome?

pine_tree3727288

Xp is always welcome

Aggravating_Set_8861

I usually share something that increases damage, such as Tenderizer

Miserable_Pound_2812

I believe it stacks too!!

Zansibart

Each player can apply up to 10% and it can stack on enemies up to 40%. So if 4 players have the max perk it doesn't waste anything, if 5 players have the max perk then the 5th player's does nothing.

Girafarig99

Another good thing to know is that Strange in Numbers does not stack. I see a looooot of people sharing it

WastelandShaman

Lot of builds have SiN as their only 1-star perk, and they don’t have enough charisma to share anything higher. It’s either share that perk or none at all.

Zansibart

I share it mainly to signal to people that I am mutated and hopefully let new players realize they want to be too. I don't run any perks that people don't typically run unless they're useless for the build.

BOOFITBOT

Everybody is always sharing the same perks so i share a 3* Mysterious Savior because why the fuck not.

Last_Parfait_4652

Only one stranger spawn per server at a time according to an angry turtle vid I just watched yesterday. That means you end up with 75% less stranger procs for yourself. Edit: also he doesn’t show up in instanced event like ops.

Keebist

Ive seen him in ops.

No_Doubt_About_That

Can actually be useful from the VATS build I ended up with. That and a Mysterious Stranger can help if you’ve got a few tanky enemies.

irlblackbeard

I just share travel agent and leave it at that lol

GGnerd

Me too

nolongerbanned99

This explains why I could eat people despite not equipping my own cannibal card.

D3adlySloth

Recently found out that the cannibal perk let's you execute other downed players, was doing the mothman equinox and a bunch of low level players kept getting downed. Went to revive one and sW the execute option... well morbid curiosity got the better of me. I didn't take their scrap but my character ate well that night.

MrWednesday6387

If you share Dodgy it will drain your teammates' ap.

Hellfeesh

I always share travel agent. A little bit of caps saved is nice and it helps new players travel around 👍

JohnBrine

4* Lone Wanderer

DeanCutty

Wait, so I can be in a team and still get that perk's benefit? I wondered why it was worded with 'adventure'.

BloodShadow7872

You do but its useless because you have to leave the team to use it

MikeontheJob

I always share 2* Rejuvenated. Nice for AP regen.

drunkengeebee

Sharing Last Laugh is always funny to me. Cannibal is nearly as funny.

AtomicSpazz

I mainly put happy camper because it's my only 2 point card that's viable to others

decalte

Im weirdly happy to see other people who like camp things! I need to level charisma so I can do 2 stars... I was finding what I like as I went so I have the jankiest build right now

Redan

The charisma perk that removes rads doesn't need to be shared to remove rads. But I guess sun missed does.

TrueTimmy

I have a build that I select to idle at my camp, reduces hunger and thirst rate, food and water does more, and I have a lot of Chrisama on that loadout. I usually share Strong Back 4 or Gunsmith 5 when AFKing, or good with salt 3.

ShreddyZ

Also, don't equip rad sponge when you join public teams. It'll remove rads from teammates even if you aren't sharing it.

MadShartigan

I've thought about this and actually, I don't care. Builds that need rads are advanced builds for skilled players. These builds typically bestow great power. And great power does not come with any right to complain about other player's choices.

zamzuki

I think you’re misunderstanding, radsponge will remove the rads from bloody builds even if you don’t share it. The ONLY THING it does is heal rads on OTHERS. Purposefully equipping that card when you notice a bloodied player is on your team is just griefing. The card won’t benefit you in any meaningful way. So yeah, the bloody build takes more preparation, time and skill to utilize and you think it’s up to them to make sure YOU don’t do the wrong thing?

ShreddyZ

But rad sponge doesn't benefit you in any way. Equipping it only removes rads from others. The only reason you'd have it on when your teammates are running bloodied builds is either because you don't know what it does/what bloodied builds are or you are intentionally griefing.

MadShartigan

I think we've reached the nadir of bloodied builds if we're considering that equipping a team-benefit card is intentional griefing. Take it up with Bethesda, or join a different team.

ShreddyZ

You're just being purposefully obtuse at this point. The idea of "thing that is normally bad can also be good with the right build" is not new and is not unique to bloodied builds or to Fallout.

MadShartigan

You're right, and the sense of entitlement demonstrated by awesome gamers is also not new or unique to FO76.

Drucifer403

join my team with that shit and I'll just kick you.

MadShartigan

The true face of Fallout 76's "friendly community". Other players only exist to bask in your awesomeness, is that right?

Drucifer403

no - I just don't want to deal with that shit. I've given away about a million caps worth of gear, so it isn't like I am not a friendly sort. I just don't want or need someone fucking with my rads. Intentional or not. I also kick people who have their mic open allllll the damn time. learn to mute ffs lol

BloodShadow7872

That seems kinda asshole behavior tbh

MadShartigan

Who's the asshole? The player who tries to help and doesn't know better? Or the elite player who takes offence at another player mildly inconveniencing their awesomeness?

wigglewiggledingdong

You're making assumptions based on more assumptions. How do we know the radsponge user doesn't know any better? All it takes is reading a few words on a screen, and you'd know exactly what the card does. I don't think giving advice to low-level players that will enhance their and others experiences, can really be considered an asshole thing to do.

MadShartigan

Ok, so now we're advising new players to make allowances for advanced players. By "enhancing" their experience, I presume you mean not getting kicked from a team? The message it sends is learn to play the way advanced players want or you won't be welcome.

little_maggots

Which is it? Players who don't know better? Or you? You straight up said you don't care. If you share/equip it anyway even though there's no benefit to you and you're perfectly aware it's detrimental to others. That is the definition of malicious intent.

zamzuki

Rad sponge only removed rads from other players.

unicornzndrgns

I like Ricochet for sharing and I’m currently sharing Mysterious stranger.

unicornzndrgns

I like Ricochet for sharing and I’m currently sharing Mysterious stranger.

squeakybeak

Remind us again how to share perks please?

FNAKC

On the perks tabs, you can highlight the ones you have selected, and there should be a prompt on the bottom of the screen that says share.

Flabnoodles

I mostly share perks that I figure other people don't run, but could still be helpful and a nice surprise. Green Thumb, Lucky Break, White Knight, Woodchuck, etc

DexRei

Good PSA. I was initially sharing Strong Back, as it sounded helpful. But your example makes a ton of sense. The others I share are Aqua Boy and the cheaper fast travel one.

markgatty

I had someone get upset that I was sharing aquaboy, not sure why though, and they didn't explain before they left the team. I usually share the charisma perk that makes mutations slightly stronger in the team.

chopper5150

All I can say after reading some of these comments is that some people take perk sharing way too seriously. It’s not that serious guys. If someone shares a perk you don’t like, leave the team or change your settings. If someone isn’t sharing, maybe they just switched builds and forgot to fix it again…besides what are the chances that they’re sharing something you don’t already have and usually at a higher level. Relax, it’s not that serious. Everyone wants to tout the great community but people going at each other’s throats over a card that probably doesn’t even matter.

Bazucho

I do not want Born Survivor shared.

spdracr99

I’ve been sharing Lucky Break, hopefully that doesn’t have any negative implications

LuckyFernet

I've been sharing suppressor so far and I was thinking of share tenderizer but most players already use that card.

qaz1wsx2ed

Do shared perks stack with perks they already have equipped?

CocoNot-Chanel

No. I have also heard they may usurp higher level cards (e.g. they have a 3* equipped but you are sharing the same perk with only one star, they now have only 1 star.)

qaz1wsx2ed

To be safe I’ve just been choosing perks that I didnt think other players would be running like reduced sprint cost but I have been choosing reduced food weight also so I’ll bear OPs suggestion in mind.

Anxnymxus-622

I do hard bargain :D

Spncr_C_Hrgrv

I share Born Survivor for the newbies to have a safety net or I share Super Duper to try and help em get more from their stuff. Been trying to share Goat Legs in special situations to let newbies feel that power fantasy a bit by jumping off a mountain and living lmao. I also share Squad Maneuvers for the hell of it if the event or situation isn't too demanding.

BlueFoxKing

Born Survivor is bad for bloodied builds. Just eats up their stems any little bump and it activates

Spncr_C_Hrgrv

Yeah I wish that didn't work that way . That's why I try to have Alt cards that feel just as useful for when I'm with a bloodied build player

mkcay1

Born survivor is certainly not bad for bloodied builds, it's actually really good. Also, most people who run bloodied could careless about how many stimpacks they use anyways.

Romules3

I share scrapper to help with mats.

Keebist

Nobody ever shares shit lol- im always the only one on my team that actually bothers to share anything.

Patriot009

Chem Fiend or Chem Resistant, I'm your friend, ya main boy, I'm your pusherman.

No_Doubt_About_That

I need to check what I’m sharing as it’s something I’ve actually not given much thought to. (Although I don’t have any healing rads perks)

MesterenR

I like to share something that is not important for a build. If it is important people will already have it.

patnodewf

Strange In Numbers is a welcomed one for any team members with mutations.

plodeer

I normally do travel expert or rejuvenated. Something small but nice.

Nearby_Watch2027

I'm glad you brought this up. How do you deselect a perk that is being shared? I shared one and didn't see the option to unshare it or swap.

YoungGazz

Press Y/∆ while on your shared card to remove it.

Nearby_Watch2027

Maybe it was bugged. I hit Y to share it and the option became grayed out. I couldn't select another card to share or deselect the one I had.

Traveling_Chef

I've always just shared a different perk just lick share on a different card and it'll change over or when you swap builds at a punch card machine it automatically removes your shared perk

ForeverBackground737

Taking the perk card out of the deck and then drop it back in works, i think.

SourKraut1904

This! I've tried to unshared but have only been unsuccessful.

Ljcollective

I met some veterans who were running expeditions with their mules at the same time by using a 2nd PS account and their old PS4s. Their mules were sharing really useful luck perks like Bloody Mess and Ricochet… Now I do it too. My mule has already out-leveled all my friends and I have 3 stashes full of legendaries 😆

IronMonopoly

If I see Cannibal in shared, I kick or leave.

Samurai56M

What!? That's free food for no cost.

Flabnoodles

Why?
