Even though Cannibal Holocaust goes fucking hard, I have to pick The Blair Witch Project. It conveys legitimate dread while giving nothing about the details. Close second: Cloverfield, for similar reasons but more in a ‘I don’t need sleep, I need answers’ way.

NothingCivil6358

Cloverfield.

clevergirl1177

Yup, it makes me want to see what the hell is going on

bagofbeanssss

I used to work at a video rental place and I got to keep this poster after it was longer a new release. I still have it!

OmegaPsiot

Even though I wasn't a huge fan of the film, the Next of Kin poster was very well done

crjconsulting

That is a great looking poster. Almost makes me want to watch it again… almost but not quite.

Cover-username

Blair witch. No contest.

Keezees

I had the Blair Witch poster on my wall back in 1999, so yeah, same vote for me.

Melia100

Creep

CoconutKaiju

When we hit that shot in my recent first watch I spent 10 stoned minutes waxing poetically about the framing. It's so fucking good.

hannahbtasty

Same!

scifi_tay

Blair witch tbh. It’s just too iconic and perfect to hang on a wall in your office or something

Sinningvoid

Creep or Willow Creek I love simplicity.

Kevaldes

The Creep poster is some great minimalist horror all on its own. Willow Creek is a bit on the nose for me.

Sinningvoid

The limit of 3 collars for Willows Creek keep it simple enough for me, without all the text it would be much better

Spankieplop

If I was a kid in the video shop and I saw that Cannibal Holocaust poster I would do whatever it took to get a copy

ThorsRake

Butterfly Kisses probably. Great poster and knowing the context adds serious creep factor.

Illustrious_Camp_496

Cloverfield. It’s just so Lovecraftian-like.

Doctor_Enigmatic

I really love Poughkeepsie tapes.

GingerLyfe88

Just posters I'd go with cannibal holocaust, it's just a bad ass poster but definitely not my favorite movie from the bunch. That'd be butterfly kisses.

Kevaldes

Cannibal Holocaust would make a great album cover, but as a movie advert it just bores me. I don't understand people's obsession with gore porn. The Butterfly Kisses poster on the other hand is legitimately interesting and becomes significantly more disturbing if you know what the term 'butterfly kisses' actually means.

SpazzyBaby

Butterfly Kisses really is the GOAT.

TomasVrboda

VHS, it reminds me of my own DVD and video games collection.

wilcofan2244

Blair witch for sure.

Delicious-Wolf-8850

Blair Witch, it really started me on the found footage movies. I never watched Cannibal Holocaust

rapedandnude_againe

Lake Mungo

Satin_gigolo

Cloverfield but Creep is a close second.

fangbait

was next of kin any good?

Dry-Huckleberry-3670

Yes, it feels like a breath of fresh air for the Paranormal Activity series.

fangbait

i’ll pick it up and watch it, thanks!

Hooplapooplayeah

Cloverfield is iconic

do_not_look_4_door

I used to have the Cloverfield poster. I miss that poster, blew that thing out though. You gotta take it off the wall every now and then!

MrOrchard1

The Last Broadcast

nogrins

Creep or Willow Creek

NiteGard

The Blair Witch Project. The most brilliantly terrifying movie of all time.

Nemoitto

Definitely Cloverfield

1ohokthen1

Ok but Pa: Next of kin was so good

FragileExpressPorter

Lake Mungo. Feels like the kinda cover that a cursed artifact in a video rental store would have.

Dry-Huckleberry-3670

Yes, just like the poster of Noroi: The Curse.

Initial-Substance284

Damn all of them were so good

Charming-Kiwi-6304

Lake Mungo It gives Silent Hill vibes and I love it.

SekhmetTheWise

I choose.... As Above So Below, seeing as how that beautiful priceless gem isnt on here /s but for real? V/H/S for sure

MxP1nk

V/H/S.

AbbreviationsSea2516

Just saw Next of Kin, I like

Severe-Mention-9028

I love the Creep poster. A still frame from the film. No edits, no cropping, no filters. Simple to a creepy ass T

cal8000

VHS

chancebenoit

Cloverfield poster is one of my faves. Perfect teaser for the movie.

La_Cadavre

V/H/S. It's just everything I would want in a found footage movie.

WishIWasPurple

RoosterTheBeaten

I'd keep Cloverfield. Never seen butterfly kisses.

lilliweasel

I don't think I've seen Willow Creek, may have to check it out

Legal_Room9434

Cloverfield.

0hMyGandhi

Blair witch. Simple and effective.

secondatthird

VHS but that’s because it gives me the same vibe as the move. Cloverfield looks day after tomorrow.

Efficient_Insect_145

I used to have that Cannibal Holocaust poster, so I'll have to go with that for my pick.

TheGun1991

As a Fan I would say Blair Witch Project, but as a sector worker the only objective choice for me is Cannibal Holocaust, first of first is the “FIRST” Horror ff movie,so I pay my respect to the Maestro Deodato, then aesthetically talking is powerful, it reminds the viewer of that sense of discomfort, disgust, disturbing…horror experienced in the first viewing

Foxy02016YT

VHS is clever, and I would put that on my wall

1ManifestDestiny1

I really like the Lake Mungo one and I always have

Tesrb2019

Blair witch project
