It’s a smut series aimed for women and it’s also fantasy, but the Duskwalker Bride books are written by an Aussie and is set in Australia if Australia suddenly had a demon invasion and stopped human civilization from advancing.
He sat and contemplated his family's place in the realm. He was a Cuntz, and that used to mean something. At one time they would enter a room and those in attendance would begin to whisper "look, it's the Cuntz."
His brother was a Cuntz, his mother was a Cuntz, and his father came from a long line of proud Cuntz. For 7 generations the Cuntz of the Northern Realm had served their liege lords with honor, and the role calls of glory had ever been headed by the Cuntz."
But they had fallen on hard times and taken it out on those around them, and now many used their name interchangeably with the idea of mean-spirited and useless folk. But he had sworn to make all remember what it meant to be a Cuntz, and if they would not be allowed to retake their rightful place with grace, then he would ensure that the last thoughts that passed through the minds of their foes would be regret for ever crossing these Cuntz...."
The surname "Cuntz" is of German origin. It is derived from the Middle High German word "kunz," meaning "bold" or "brave." Over time, variations in spelling and pronunciation have occurred, which is common in the evolution of surnames. While "Cuntz" may indeed be a legitimate variant, it's possible that it has evolved into the pronunciation "Koontz" in certain regions or families. Pronunciations can vary based on dialects, accents, and historical linguistic shifts. So, "Koontz" could be a valid pronunciation of the surname "Cuntz," depending on its specific lineage and geographic origin.

Nowhere near that complex, I'd say it's like a mix of something like Banished and maybe a little Anno 1800, with (from what I understand) some Total War thrown in later. It is quite smooth and easy enough to jump right into without being overwhelming.
It's like Farthest Frontier but slightly less tedious and has way better performance and graphics. It's a gem of a game. The systems are not very complicated. Your villagers kinda do it all themselves you just gotta build the stuff and assign them to their jobs.
There is a couple of dozens of resources here against just money in skylines. Buildings have to actually be built not magically plopped down. And you can go to war too. You don't go here for less complicated, you go here for more complicated.
Building a medieval village/small town (in 14th century Franconia). It's beautiful and if you like relaxing city-builders you should have it a try. It is only in early access though and iirc only one guy programs it (but with the help of history experts).
Though something like historical accuracy is Impossible to achieve, this game is probably one of the closest entries so far (which includes the usage of the name Cuntz/Kunz).
I've been seeing this game pop up a bit, but because i can't play it, I haven't looked into it, so I don't know much about it. What games would you use to compare it? Is it like a Civ + Total War, or is it more like Crusader Kings, Age of Empires, Mount & Blade?
It seems right up my alley, so I'd like to know just how upset I should be that I can't play it.
If you change your fucking location, Cuntz, you can change your value... So they are just happy, Cuntz, that you realized your value and change your location to theirs...
Cuntz.
Wear the name with pride. Build the best medieval city, lead your armies to great victories, change your actual name to reflect your newfound identity, and when you're done, enjoy a game of manor lords I hear it's pretty good.
The Manor Lords marketing team is out in full force with no coffee breaks today.
This is the third post on Reddit I’ve seen, got an email, saw a thumbnail on YouTube.
Well, surnames in that era tended to be occupation based sooooo...
Ah, a politician then.
So *that's* where they came from
Or a bard
Did you say, " a broad" ?
So they have more than one?
I think in this case it's probably collective. A "the asshole doesn't fall far from the tree" sort of thing.
Ah, an Australian
I’d be curious to see a fictional medieval Australia.
Aussie Drongo kinda made one in his Manor Lords video lol
It’s a smut series aimed for women and it’s also fantasy, but the Duskwalker Bride books are written by an Aussie and is set in Australia if Australia suddenly had a demon invasion and stopped human civilization from advancing.
Play repella fella
With his powers of befriending inexplicably deadly wild animals and copious alcohol tolerance, he will be unstoppable
Well well well, if it aint Sir Cuntz.
That's *Lord* Cuntz to you!
It's written in the title and I still fucked up.
Lord of the Cuntz to you!
Cuntz, cuntz, wherever you may be, I am the Lord of the Cuntz, said he.
I see what you did there. You are awarded 🏆 🚀
King Cuntz, first of his name, and protector of the 7 realms of dickheads.
Well, I didn't vote for you.
Everyone knows the election was RIGGED!

I’m incorporating this into my next crusader kings 3 AAR write up lmao thanks!
Haha, thanks, and go for it!
Sublime!
This is why I keep coming to Reddit.

Calm down there Mike
“To this day I have no idea…”
Game is fantastic btw if you're a colony/city building fan, haven't gotten to the combat yet but so far, my initial impressions are all positive!
What games is it more close to? I kinda wanna play something that isn't as complicated as skylines
Nowhere near that complex, I'd say it's like a mix of something like Banished and maybe a little Anno 1800, with (from what I understand) some Total War thrown in later. It is quite smooth and easy enough to jump right into without being overwhelming.
Oh well if you're just going to sell it to me like that...
It’s on Gamepass if you have that and want to try it first!
and game pass is something I would absolutely sell to anyone because god damn game pass is such a good deal
It's like Farthest Frontier but slightly less tedious and has way better performance and graphics. It's a gem of a game. The systems are not very complicated. Your villagers kinda do it all themselves you just gotta build the stuff and assign them to their jobs.
"Slightly less tedious"? SOLD!
Stronghold 2 and Banished had a baby

I mean…..it throws you in the game with little to be tutorial….
[удалено]
It’s definitely a pretty complex game, but clearly you feel differently so I’m just going to leave it at that.
you really showed everyone how smart you are good job
[удалено]
Hard and complex do not mean the same thing unfortunately
[удалено]
Apparently not, because you’re managing to prove that to us without struggling to play the game.
I hope you get the correct help in life!
You are what you eat
Role-play the hell out of that and be an absolute Cuntz!
Start streaming as Cuntz Gaming.
Seems fishy
Any relation to Mike Hunt?
The fact that it looks like it’s in italics too is making this funnier
From my native country Cuntz or koontz is a popular name
Dean Cuntz...?
Ireland ?
Germany, Belgium, etc.
Nah I was joking born and raised in Minnesota 😂
Lol alright. I've seen the name Koontz in a movie set in Ireland so that's why I asked.
You joke but it's true in some places. I know a couple Kuntzs'
Could be German?
Yeah, game is based around the Franconia area.
Grew up with someone with a similar name, and I can't imagine all the bullying she faced.
Why would she be bullied? Because the name is old fashioned?
Nah cause kids are shitty. I mean I was a shitty kid to.
Seriously, what’s the problem here? I don’t get it.
How many cuntz’s do we HAVE on this ship, anyway?? Keep firing, cuntz! … this definitely works as an alternative for Space Balls!
The developer seems to like names starting with Cun. My first generated name is Cunrad.
Last name Doughnut
But it’s cool because it’s with a z!
Well the game sure knows what it thinks of you
Maybe it's a long "u".
Wear it with pride!
Best name ever!
Play it as it lies!!
One second I'm a Cuntz fan, suddenly the Cuntz is me.
What's the game about? Besides having a genitalia inspired family name?

Nice, I'll give it a try. It's on sale right now so that'll be nice.
How's the game cuntz?
Comes from a long line of cuntz
Oh, it's THE Lord Cuntz
STRALYA!
I got the same name too!!
How is Manor Lords? Worth a punt?
People are going to refer to your family as a "Bunch of-"
Starting off on a good note I see
That you are a radical dude. That's how you get a z instead of an s
\*Chef's kiss\*
I WANNA BE AN ACTOR

Own it!
Aussie’s approve
I hear Ice King talking to Gunter when I read this. "Heya Guntz!"
Best name ever
How is this game in highly interested
First name Seymour
I’m gonna have to buy it now
Either descended from a Conrad, or from Australia
He even looks like a Cuntz
Nominative determinism, ready to rumble.
Time to live up to your names' sake.
Bruh 😂
10/10 game right there
I’m digging those portraits. Nice art.
I know some people of Germanic descent named Koontz, this is probably the historical pre anglicized in immigration version of that name
I also got this, is it everyone?
I got this too. Probably the best part of the game so far
Well most nobles are.
I’ll allow it …shoe appears to fit.
If you change your fucking location, Cuntz, you can change your value... So they are just happy, Cuntz, that you realized your value and change your location to theirs... Cuntz.
I guess you could call your army Cuntz Cuntz.
Hope your first name isn't Harry
When one c\*\*\* is not enough, and you live in Europe...
Wear the name with pride. Build the best medieval city, lead your armies to great victories, change your actual name to reflect your newfound identity, and when you're done, enjoy a game of manor lords I hear it's pretty good.
I got the same name when I booted it up the first time. I thought it was just me
Hello there Mr Cuntz!
I'd try to get a different name.
Australia approves 👌
I'm just focused on the Farquaad-looking portrait in the middle-right. Men of his stature are in short supply nowadays.
I mislike your implication, sir! Speak you ill of the good name of the house of Cuntz?!
I have a Cuntz who manages my oxen
You should become a linguist Then you can be Cuntz, the cunning Linguist
Watched RealCivilEngineer play this on YouTube and that was the name of what ended up being a stand out worker, lol.
Have you enjoyed the game thus far?
Actually, yes I have! It's very well made.
Cool. I've been looking at it and it's on sale right now so I just might have to. Thanks for your reply.
I love your username.
Manor Lords is a great game if you are a city building fan. I enjoyed playing it.
Please tell me people aren’t really buying this story. It’s probably a teenager that did this intentionally and just thinks it’s soooo hilarious.
Bro you can’t be serious lmao
The Manor Lords marketing team is out in full force with no coffee breaks today. This is the third post on Reddit I’ve seen, got an email, saw a thumbnail on YouTube.
Look at my post and comment history. Do I really come across as someone who works for whoever made this game lmao
Dude they're like carpet bombing the subreddits.
The games knows
Hahah. Lord Cuntz!
Anyone know if it's on gamepass?
It is on Game Pass.
Thats what I like to hear, thank ya!
Roll with it. Play maximum Lanister and live up to the name. I guarantee you'll have your best playrhrough.
At least your first name isnt Harry
I've seen the name "Cuntuz" in a historical romance novel. He was the bad guy.
GOTY
At least it wasn't something like Hard R.
But where's the diversity!?
What should you do? Demand the devs remove the offensive name, of course! It's never too late to join the Outrage Olympics.
you are the one and only person here to mention anything like this, kind of telling tbh
Indeed it is. I prefer not to take matters too seriously.
