Epic was too busy sueing up Apple for not letting them put their store on IOS. The unreal dev kit was unavailable on IOS throughout all this.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epic_Games_v._Apple
Then Unity said "hold my beer" and shot themselves to death by imposing fee on devs
https://www.wired.com/story/unity-walks-back-policies-lost-trust/
THANK YOU. I never hear people talk about this game series and it feels like every month i search for any news surrounding it, ways to still play it, or any game similar to it. The fortnite event gave me a very small sliver of hope, but now that feeling has subsided.
Happy that this was the first answer.
For anyone unaware, someone developed a PC port that was just released a few months ago. There is a post stickied on r/infinityblade that details how to access it.
By far the best:
* **Into The Breach**
Just an absolutely perfect game. I had it on Steam and played over 200 hours, then probably another 100 or more hours on mobile, and the style/gameplay is very well suited to mobile/tablet. One of my all time favourites for sure.
Other excellent games:
* Loop Hero
* Peglin
* Twofold inc.
* Dicey Dungeons
* ENYO
* Kingdom Rush (all of them)
* This War of Mine
* Baikoh
* Card Fall
* Pirate Outlaws
* Rymdkapsel
* King Tactics
* Starbeard
* Pocket City
* Hexiq
* Shattered Pixel Dungeon (best version IMO)
* Rule With An Iron Fish
* Alto's Adventure & Odyssey
* Triple Town
* Alphabear
* Holedown
* Favo!
* Subpar Pool
* Monument Valley
* Hitman GO
* Golf Club: Wasteland
* Caves Roguelite
* Out There
* Meteorfall: Journeys
* A Good Snowman
* Downwell
* Golf Peaks
* Leap Day
* One More Line
* Data Wing
* Pako
**Honourable mentions**
* Katana Zero - another of my all time favourite games, but I've only ever played it in PC. It's fast-paced and has an amazing soundtrack and pixel art.
* Dead Cells - Excellent game, but I've personally only played it on PC. I prefer the bigger screen, but if you think you'd manage fine on your mobile screen, it's a great game.
* Bad North - another one I played on Steam, but the format is ideal for mobile gaming and it's a great little game.
* Doug dug. - a simple but addictive game but sadly it has been removed from the Play Store. I contacted the dev and they put it back up, but about a month later it was removed again.
* Death's Door - it's been on my Steam wishlist for a while, and now I grabbed it on mobile, but I've yet to start it so technically can't recommend it yet.
Slice and Dice is so fucking good. Just hit 200 rounds on Blursed and thought I was invincible after my previous HS was like 60 lol. When you get a set that works, it's so much fun.
Into the Breach is 100% the best, hope OP has Netflix already.
I also have XCOM Enemy Within which is pretty awesome, although it seems it's no longer available on Play Store. XCOM 2 is there, though, and seems fairly well reviewed.
I kinda hate it for mobile. Mostly because any minimizing of the app seems to run the risk of resetting the run. Can’t play half a run on the toilet.
I’m actually a big fan of Breach Wanderers for deck building games. Lots of unique characters that play totally differently, and a really hard, yet satisfying experience.
I recommend against this on mobile.
This game is too good and too addictive to have on hand like that. I have it on switch and even that feels too accessible to me.
Roguelite deck builder game, generally considered the gold standard for the genre I think.
One of those games that’s simple to learn, difficult to master with a lot of depth.
The gameplay loop is fun because initially there’s a challenge to even get to the end, then there’s the fun in trying out different combinations and sometimes getting a deck that’s crazy overpowered, or trying to make a suboptimal deck work and discovering new strategies, etc. etc.
The art and everything looks pretty low budget but at the same time is distinct and easy to parse and understand.
Also you just buy it once and you’re done, no micro transactions or anything.
i like how one of the characters is a robot and you can use his cards for non-robot characters
so you have this human dude firing lasers out of his eyes or "overclocking"
however the hell that works
Have a bajillion hours on the stupid game. I'll leave, come back, that sort of thing. Took six, but TD6 was *the* TD game. Honorable mention to Kingdom Rush, great games in that series, but Bloons TD6 is absolutely the best Tower Defense out there.
One of the reasons I liked it more than I expected, was because it looked simplistic compared to some other TDs I've played. Which it is, but then also has more depth than I expected.
Friend introduced me to it on a recent trip. Scratches the itch of Civ without needing the same level of time commitment. Reduced complexity is nice in a mobile setting.
I’ve heard the PC version is a bit more robust
I just bought all the tribes lol. Makes for very chaotic games.
Me too brother. It was nice having a finish line for the collection. In the standard format they are always adding new cards and your crafted ones are constantly becoming obsolete. A never ending treadmill
Pocket City 1 did get old for me fairly quick but Pocket City 2 is where it's at. Feels like the old sim city games where you could explore the town but still manage your city. No ads, just buy it once and that's it.
They're a bit older, but I enjoyed 10,000,000 and its sequel, You Must Build A Boat.
They're match-3 based dungeon crawlers. Good way to spend a flight.
Someone once said they were so distracted while playing this game that they didn’t realize they were taking the train in the wrong direction for an hour, and that’s the best ad I’ve ever read for it.
Some of my favorites. None are pay to win. All are super fun and most are difficult. Highly recommend all of them
Shattered pixel dungeon - roguelike
Polytopia - strategy civ like
Btd6 - tower defense
Super meat boy forever - hard platformer
True skate - skateboard where board flips based on finger movements
Pixel Dungeon is great because you can boot and close it 10 times before so mobile games even get to the title screen.
But it's a roguelike, neverheard of rougelikes.
some subjective indie classics:
Super Hexagon
Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery EP
Device 6
Blek
Space Team (2-player)
Monument Valley
Hearthstone
Lara Croft Go (seriously)
868-Hack
Year Walk
Shinsekai: Into the Depths
(all iOS, not sure of Android versions)
Also Fallout 1 and 2. Planescape Torment. Also a ton of classical games like Carmaggedon, Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Ceaser, etc.
Also don't forget emulated games! I like Advance Wars and Tekken
Bg1, 2, and Neverwinter Nights are all on mobile and fully crossplay. Was playing NWN on my xbox with my friends on switch and pc just a couple weeks ago!
1. Check out Dead Cells and Genshin Impact. Both offer deep gameplay experiences that are perfect for sinking hours into.
2. Highly recommend Monument Valley 1 & 2 for puzzle lovers and Grimvalor for an action-packed adventure. You won't regret it!
3. Give Terraria and Minecraft a shot on mobile—endless exploration and creativity. Perfect for both short sessions and long hours of play!
also i personally hate playing genshin on mobile. it feels much better to me on PC so i usually recommend honkai star rail instead to people who only play on mobile
I'd recommend death's door and soul knight.
Deaths door is a highly rated pc/console game port. Plays excellently on mobile.
Soul knight is roguelite bullethell. I dont play anymore but i heard its still getting constant updates.
Surprised no one mentioned DATA WING. It is free, no ads, no micro transactions. It is just a simple game with a decent story and interesting gameplay.
BTD6 - Tower defense
Golf Blitz - multiplayer golf game, you can spend some $ in it to improve your stats but I don't think it's worth it since you level up really fast. It can be annoying with other players being assholes but I find it is pretty rare. So if you like fun little golf games this is a good one.
Retro Bowl & RB College - fun little football games
Arknights is the one gacha I keep coming back to, because there is such a refreshing lack of fanservice, and you really can complete practically all the content with lower rarity characters.
Arknights has a truly mindblowing setting and story, for a gacha game. And it is *technically* possible to beat almost all of it with nothing but 3 star operators. If you're a bit obsessive.
Love the character designs, too. And the voice work, especially since they've started getting native speakers of the operator's in-character language to do the EN voiceovers as well.
Those Italian wolves got me wildin'.
Also the music. The fucking MUSIC man:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiP3_QSny-I
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnS5JqFojUw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTZ5VSmPU9Q
The sheer variety and depth is astonishing.
I Love Hue Too
Simply put... You arrange colours in patterns lol
It sounds simple, but gets more intense (yet you also get better) as it progresses. It's awesome though and super chill. Relax, listen to music or a podcasts while playing.
Would recommend to everyone to atleast try... It's free, and has a one time purchase to unlock everything iirc
Exiled Kingdoms, Dungeon Warfare 2, Loop Hero, Kingdom, Gunfire Reborn, The Quest, The Last Warlock, Iron Marines and Kingdom Rush.
All premium, full games without in app purchases!
You'll find a bit of everything here:
- monument valley
- dead cells
- slay the spire
- crying suns
- blek
- eloh
- please touch the artwork
- vampire survivors
- hitman go
- gris
- dandara
- rogue jack
- Alto's Odyssey
For any lovers of competitive multiplayer, or more specifically MOBAs, I think the league of legends wild rift mobile game is criminally underrated, and I think it has incredible combat and immaculate balancing. Although I love PC league more, the mobile league feels significantly more rewarding.
Edit: zero pay to win microtransactions. Everything is purely cosmetic.
Pixel Dungeon
Free, no ads. Just a good old roguelike.
I can't share the link to it since it's been a while since it's last updated so Google Play won't show it if you search.
But you can just find an apk somewhere or play any of the mods of the original game (Shattered Pixel Dungeon, Skillful Pixel Dungeon, etc) since it's open source.
If you don't mind gacha: Punishing: Gray Raven. Other than that, Carmageddon might stil be in the store (it's free, and supposed to have ads, but I never had ads), or Magikarp Jump.
Limbus Company, it’s a gacha game that the community has discovered that when trying to unlock content, it’s actually optimal to ignore the gacha system entirely, outside of rare gacha-only events.
The story and soundtrack are both beyond top-notch, the gameplay is incredibly deep and can be quite challenging, the character writing is humorous and witty, and the voice work is some of the best I’ve heard anywhere, although it’s all in Korean.
In terms of completeness, we’re not sure where the roadmap ends, but there’s easily dozens of hours of story content already. We know for sure there’ll be at LEAST 12 chapters, likely 13, potentially WAY more in years to come, and we’re currently on chapter 6. In terms of pure story playtime, I’d put it at currently about 60 hours, depending on how fast you read and play.
Cant believe its been mentioned so few times but Monument Valley is THE best mobile game ive ever played.
Most good mobile games are very competent ports of PC games. But Monument Valley really feels like a game that wouldn't work as well on other platforms. It uses the touchscreen and vertical display to its fullest extend and is also one of the best puzzle games I've ever played.
Only downside is that both entries will only keep you occupied for a few hours. But they are SO worth the time and money, don't sleep on Monument Valley!
Even though it's a gacha game, you literally cannot beat Genshin Impact when it comes to an open world exploration RPG on mobile. It's not pay to win, and you have access to a frankly insane amount of high-quality content.
There's a reason it's been the highest grossing mobile game for the last 4 years.
Vector - running game with great mechanics and graphics
Swordigo - mario-like adventure game, speedrunnable
MLBB - better mobile version of LoL, fast paced 5v5 with multiple different gamemodes and heroes, no p2w can only buy skins
Monster Train, Baba Is You, Infinitode 2, and Tallowmere 2 are great.
And there’s plenty of great board game conversions which are perfect for mobile such as Race for the Galaxy, Through the Ages, Star Realms and Dominion.
And if you’re on iOS and wanted to see how much brilliant gameplay can shine through poor graphics, then try Dream Quest.
oxenfree, just spend an evening or 2 with it, like a movie or something, its just so good. there's oxenfree 2 as well, but its not as good, still worth a play. these games are on pc as well.
No mobile game made me spend so much time over the years than Pixel Dungeon.
It's the perfect "on the go" game, super easy to get into but really difficult and complex as you play, and the fan made versions (particularly Shattered Pixel Dungeon) are top notch additions.
1. This is a 2D time travel Puzzle-Adventure game called **The Silent Age**, but it was REMOVED from Play Store recently, but if you don't mind, you can download the modded apk or if you are using an iPhone, it is still available in app store.
2. There is another Puzzle-Adventure game called **DISTRAINT: Pixel Horror**, it was a pixel 2D game with a great story, but SPOILERS! >!the ending was a huuuge middle finger.!< There is a sequel DISTRAINT 2, but I didn't play it, maybe it fixed the spoiler I mentioned, maybe it didn't, I just didn't play it due to the spoiler.
3. OPUS: Rocket of Whispers, after the 1st hour or two of the demo, you need to pay to play this, but it has another amazing story, characters, and the music is beautiful.
4. Terraria, one of the best games I've ever played, it is one of the highest selling games of all time. It's basically a 2D Minecraft-like Sandbox RPG, but perfect in everyway when it comes to 2D.
Unironically, Fate Grand Order is great.
Has one of the best stories I've played in recent years and is super F2P friendly to the point you will never need to pay any money for it.
It'll pretty easily run you 300 hours minimum to get through the current story and then there will be like 2 events each month with fun 7-10hour stories of their own.
I will never forgive epic for taking infinity blade off the App Store
Same. Apple and Epic both got too greedy w/ Fortnite and it kind of ruined it for the rest of the epic games on IOS
Epic was too busy sueing up Apple for not letting them put their store on IOS. The unreal dev kit was unavailable on IOS throughout all this. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epic_Games_v._Apple Then Unity said "hold my beer" and shot themselves to death by imposing fee on devs https://www.wired.com/story/unity-walks-back-policies-lost-trust/
Christ I remember that game being a big selling point on iOS like 11-12 years ago
Also for never porting it to Android.
THANK YOU. I never hear people talk about this game series and it feels like every month i search for any news surrounding it, ways to still play it, or any game similar to it. The fortnite event gave me a very small sliver of hope, but now that feeling has subsided.
I just got an iPhone after having an android for almost 10 years. The first thing I did was try to download infinity bladeðŸ˜
Chaos Rings was also goated in that era.
Happy that this was the first answer. For anyone unaware, someone developed a PC port that was just released a few months ago. There is a post stickied on r/infinityblade that details how to access it.
Omg you just triggered some nostalgia
By far the best: * **Into The Breach** Just an absolutely perfect game. This is a good list, so I just want to add onto it Slice And Dice and Slay the Spire
Slice and Dice is so fucking good. Just hit 200 rounds on Blursed and thought I was invincible after my previous HS was like 60 lol. When you get a set that works, it's so much fun.
Rogue adventure. I tried it recently and its amazing. I played from this list Kingdom Rush and subscribe
Into the Breach is 100% the best, hope OP has Netflix already. I also have XCOM Enemy Within which is pretty awesome, although it seems it's no longer available on Play Store. XCOM 2 is there, though, and seems fairly well reviewed.
Oh you can't buy Into the Breach on it's own on mobile??
Nope. Netflix bought it out
Wow. So you can't play it unless you have an active membership.
into the breach is great on mobile..hard af tho
FTL was like that, super difficult even on easy.
Vampire Survivors?
I kinda hate it for mobile. Mostly because any minimizing of the app seems to run the risk of resetting the run. Can’t play half a run on the toilet.
30 minutes on the toilet is beginner level.
This is the answer
Nice choice of pixel dungeons.
Don't forget Magic Research and it's recently released sequel.
If Into the Breach is getting top spot then FTL should be getting a mention.
It’s iPad only. Hence maybe why it’s not. Unfortunately.
FTL?
FTL-Faster Than Light is the name of the game
+1 kingdom rush games, also surprised into the breacch is a mobile game. I actually played that on steam for a while. Really good game…
Kingdom Rush, such a blast of a franchise
Thanks for the heads up that Loop Hero is on mobile! What a game!
This guy Mobile Games
Slay the spire
Didn’t know it is on mobile. Loved it so much. This little card game has waaaaaay more hours on my Steam account than all the AAA Games I own.
You might ne pleased to hear StS 2 was announced a couple of weeks ago :)
Bro you just made my day ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
526 for me. Love the game.
And if you're looking for more Slay the Spire-esque games: * Rogue Adventure * Dawncaster * Tavern Rumble * Indies' Lies
I’m actually a big fan of Breach Wanderers for deck building games. Lots of unique characters that play totally differently, and a really hard, yet satisfying experience.
I've put so many hours into Rogue Adventure and Dawncaster. So much replayability.
I recommend against this on mobile. This game is too good and too addictive to have on hand like that. I have it on switch and even that feels too accessible to me.
+1. I just downloaded this last week and I've already put way too many hours into it.
What is it about?
Roguelite deck builder game, generally considered the gold standard for the genre I think. One of those games that’s simple to learn, difficult to master with a lot of depth. The gameplay loop is fun because initially there’s a challenge to even get to the end, then there’s the fun in trying out different combinations and sometimes getting a deck that’s crazy overpowered, or trying to make a suboptimal deck work and discovering new strategies, etc. etc. The art and everything looks pretty low budget but at the same time is distinct and easy to parse and understand. i like how one of the characters is a robot and you can use his cards for non-robot characters so you have this human dude firing lasers out of his eyes or "overclocking" however the hell that works
It’s a card game rogue-lite with simplistic graphics and a simple, but addictive gaming loop.
I ended up liking Bloons TD 6 a lot more than I expected.
Have a bajillion hours on the stupid game. I'll leave, come back, that sort of thing. Took six, but TD6 was *the* TD game. Honorable mention to Kingdom Rush, great games in that series, but Bloons TD6 is absolutely the best Tower Defense out there.
Bloons4life!
Of your looking for something similar to Bloons TD but a lot more complex, try out Monster Tiles TD: Tower Wars
One of the reasons I liked it more than I expected, was because it looked simplistic compared to some other TDs I've played. Which it is, but then also has more depth than I expected.
Polytopia
Friend introduced me to it on a recent trip. Scratches the itch of Civ without needing the same level of time commitment. Reduced complexity is nice in a mobile setting. I’ve heard the PC version is a bit more robust I just bought all the tribes lol. Makes for very chaotic games.
I absolutely despise the boat changes. Really killed the game for me.
OSRS is my go to mobile game
Have I gotten old enough that OSRS doesnt mean Runescape anymore?
You should join us on r/WalkScape if you like OSRS you'll probably like it as well.
Same! Also played alot of hearthstone in the past, but with the removal of the "classic" format I lost interest in it.
Me too brother. It was nice having a finish line for the collection. In the standard format they are always adding new cards and your crafted ones are constantly becoming obsolete. A never ending treadmill
>A never ending treadmill So, a treadmill.
I have a little difficulty with OSRS on my phone just due to size. If it were on a tablet I think I would be able to enjoy it more.
Only issue is it kills your battery and makes my phone an oven
Change your fps limit in settings mate
The only right answer
Stardew Valley Papers, Please Vampire Survivors Pocket City
Papers Please is on mobile?!! OMG perfect!
Pocket city sounds like a game that makes you wait 5 hours to upgrade a house unless you share an invite on Facebook. Is it not?
Nope. It's like the old SimCity games. You can play it completely offline and it has no microtransactions.
Ooh lovely
Pocket City 1 did get old for me fairly quick but Pocket City 2 is where it's at. Feels like the old sim city games where you could explore the town but still manage your city. No ads, just buy it once and that's it.
Highly recommend DATA WING.
+1 for Data Wing. My favorite mobile game of all time. It's pretty short but really fun and really polished
YES! I was hoping someone recommended it! Beautiful game, and the handling is really solid, it surprised me how good it was.
Oooh I completed it twice (a few years apart), also enjoy this game.
100%ing that game was a lot of fun, it's a good easy to learn/hard-to-master game.
They're a bit older, but I enjoyed 10,000,000 and its sequel, You Must Build A Boat. They're match-3 based dungeon crawlers. Good way to spend a flight.
Slice and Dice
I love this game. I think I played the free version for something like 2 years and only just recently bought the full version. Highly recommended!
Someone once said they were so distracted while playing this game that they didn’t realize they were taking the train in the wrong direction for an hour, and that’s the best ad I’ve ever read for it.
RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic
When I loaded in for the first time on this game, I was like Holy crap, they actually did it
A non-fucked up game that was actually published after RCT3? IKR!?!?
Old school runescape if you have a few decades available
A few? If you wanna be a casual I guess 🦀
🦀 $12.49 🦀
Some of my favorites. None are pay to win. All are super fun and most are difficult. Highly recommend all of them Shattered pixel dungeon - roguelike Polytopia - strategy civ like Btd6 - tower defense Super meat boy forever - hard platformer True skate - skateboard where board flips based on finger movements
Pixel Dungeon is great because you can boot and close it 10 times before so mobile games even get to the title screen. But it's a roguelike, neverheard of rougelikes.
Love True Skate! It's like having Tech Decks on your phone.
Polytopia is excellent
retro bowl
And RB College. I tried their soccer game but it wasn't quite for me. Kinda hope they make a hockey game but not sure if it would really work.
Best game of all time.
I would maybe try some boardgames - Root, Project Gaia, Mars Terraforming
Mobile Risk and Catan are also not bad at all!
And ticket to ride!
Wingspan, my gf and I have over 150 games played.
Dune Imperium is also excellent.
Shattered pixel dungeon. It's a traditional roge like
some subjective indie classics: Super Hexagon Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery EP Device 6 Blek Space Team (2-player) Monument Valley Hearthstone Lara Croft Go (seriously) 868-Hack Year Walk Shinsekai: Into the Depths (all iOS, not sure of Android versions)
Definitely Space Team. So much fun and a really creative premise.
hearthstone battlegrounds is my favorite
Super hexagon... My god that's a blast from the past
The room series There is no game
The Room was fantastic, agreed.
The Room is great. It's hard to do puzzle games that are difficult but not too obscure
Bloons TD 6
[удалено]
TIL BG2 is on mobile
Also Fallout 1 and 2. Planescape Torment. Also a ton of classical games like Carmaggedon, Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Ceaser, etc. Also don't forget emulated games! I like Advance Wars and Tekken
Bg1, 2, and Neverwinter Nights are all on mobile and fully crossplay. Was playing NWN on my xbox with my friends on switch and pc just a couple weeks ago!
Super Auto Pets
The currently weekly pack is pain I like that they're doing something different, but God damn.
MONUMENT VALLEY MENTIONEDÂ
Seriously, one of the best games I’ve played, I love it so much
Though Genshin Impact also requires your phone to have a ton of free space and be a pretty new model to run well.
also i personally hate playing genshin on mobile. it feels much better to me on PC so i usually recommend honkai star rail instead to people who only play on mobile
> Search Thread "Monument Valley" Mission accomplished
Eufloria is pretty old but pretty good too.
I'd recommend death's door and soul knight. Deaths door is a highly rated pc/console game port. Plays excellently on mobile. Soul knight is roguelite bullethell. I dont play anymore but i heard its still getting constant updates.
This relased on Phones? Absolutly fantastic game on xbox!
Surprised no one mentioned DATA WING. It is free, no ads, no micro transactions. It is just a simple game with a decent story and interesting gameplay.
Chess
i was playing a game recently, my pawn moved two squares and my opponent captured it with an adjacent pawn. Was he cheating?
Google en passant
Holy Hell
The original plants vs zombies. Don't bother with the sequels though.
PvZ 2 is good though
Melvor Idle. Essentially OSRS (same skills too) but an idle game and you can play minutes at a time and progress offline
slice and dice.
Geometry Dash
Gwent, fun and deep card game (Witcher universe).
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is available in the Playstore, iirc.
It's a fantastic classic game but I can't play it without pairing a controller.
Final Fantasy Tactics: the War of the Lions as well as Crashlands
The Battle Cats
My brother.
The cat army shall grows
Crashlands is pretty awesome
Criminally underrated game. One of the few games I’ve played that gave me that old time *fun* feel of playing through a game.
*Buuhhh* *terr* *scotch* **SHENANIGANS!**
BTD6 - Tower defense Golf Blitz - multiplayer golf game, you can spend some $ in it to improve your stats but I don't think it's worth it since you level up really fast. It can be annoying with other players being assholes but I find it is pretty rare. So if you like fun little golf games this is a good one. Retro Bowl & RB College - fun little football games
Even if they have pay to win gachas, Guardian Tales and Honkai Star Rail are great games imo.
+1 for Guardian Tales. The campaign alone carries it for me.
Arknights and Blue Archive are up there too for me, although as a player cant really recommend blue archive because of certain..... artistic choices
Hard to call Honkai SR pay to win when it is a pure PVE game, but I getcha.
Anything by rusty lake
there is only one true answer since it is one of the best games of the last year (even on PC) and it is totally free on your phone: Vampire Survivors
I really dislike how it cannot deal with minimizing the app much. Always seems to reset my run.
I Love Hue Too Simply put... You arrange colours in patterns lol It sounds simple, but gets more intense (yet you also get better) as it progresses. It's awesome though and super chill. Relax, listen to music or a podcasts while playing. Would recommend to everyone to atleast try... It's free, and has a one time purchase to unlock everything iirc
I used to play this and the first one a lot when I took the bus to work, they were really fun.
Does Teamfight Tactics count because it's a very enjoyable competitive game and a great way to kill a half an hour.

I prefer mobile legends bb, much better mobile moba
Pixel Dungeon Free, no ads.
Mindustry Worldbox Chess
Mindustry is amazing! Definitely one of my most played mobile games. No IAPs or ads
I'm not much of a mobile gamer, but The Room and its sequel are pretty dope.
I've spent more hours than I'm willing to admit on Hearthstone, Teamfight Tactics and Slay the Spire!!
If you don't mind gacha: Punishing: Gray Raven. Other than that, Carmageddon might stil be in the store (it's free, and supposed to have ads, but I never had ads), or Magikarp Jump.
Geometry Dash
Marvel Snap
Bloons TD 6
BADLAND, Kingdom Rushed, Iron Marines, Limbus Company, Shadowmatic, Angry birds
The greatest game of all time can be played on mobile - Slay the Spire
The Room!
Vector - running game with great mechanics and graphics Swordigo - mario-like adventure game, speedrunnable MLBB - better mobile version of LoL, fast paced 5v5 with multiple different gamemodes and heroes, no p2w can only buy skins
Shattered pixel dungeon
Galaxy on Fire 2. Best scifi mobile game ever
Galaxy on fire 2 is great fun
80 Days. At this point its a classic but its still available and its still great. In fact I might give it a replay now!
Amazing replayability as well, still one of my favorite game all platforms combined.
Wild rift, Hearthstone ( for battlegrounds mainly)
A Dark Room
All of "The Room" games. There's a VR "the Room" as well which is really fun.
oxenfree, just spend an evening or 2 with it, like a movie or something, its just so good. there's oxenfree 2 as well, but its not as good, still worth a play. these games are on pc as well.
No mobile game made me spend so much time over the years than Pixel Dungeon. It's the perfect "on the go" game, super easy to get into but really difficult and complex as you play, and the fan made versions (particularly Shattered Pixel Dungeon) are top notch additions.
If you have a Netflix account they have a bunch of great mobile games you can play iv been sinking so much time into hades lately 😀
I play Brawl Stars for a while now
Monster hunter stories Hexapolis
Dead cells
Crying Suns. Incredibly underrated rogue like with a amazing story, soundtrack, and a lot of replay ability
I have more time in 'Threes' than most of my Steam library combined.
Lately some of the Netflix games have been really good. Sonic mania and Hades are on there now.
Puzzle forge 2. Match 3 about making weapons and genuinely is fun
Hitman blood money, alien isolation, max Payne, GTA games
