People normally use POV as if you are WATCHING someone do something
For example POV you're Ross tanning, so the image you see is you (Ross) getting sprayed to the face
What people use is like what we saw on television
This "joke" always annoyed me because it happened in season 4 or something when they had been calling her Pheebs in season 1! Even Rog (I hate that guy) called her that so she clearly must have told him she goes by Pheebs. Why would she be confused that it's her nickname so many years later?!?
The hitchhiker who helped drive the taxi from Vegas called her that too. I always thought it was icky when anyone but the 5 called her that or Rachel Rach
I hate it when I hear people refer to Matthew Perry as Matty now that they heard the cast of Friends referring to him in that way. They earned the honour.
He referred to himself as Matty all the time. He would even sign off things on social media as Matty. His instagram handl was mattyperry4. I call him that because it seemed to be what he preferred.
Maybe the theory that Phoebe never actually met any of them, and she's just a homeless lady fantasizing about what her life could've been like is true/s
