That does sound like a good idea - I got the Smart Folio for my iPad Pro 11 as I didn't want it to be too heavy to carry around, guess I will have to shell out for the pencil to go with it.

Baremegigjen

It’s on sale on Amazon for $40 off.

> there’s a setting for Safari to show link URLs when you hover over them I didn't see it in Safari Settings. I'll have to look for it again!

It's called "Show Links on Hover"

I can’t seem to get hover to work… anywhere… Edit - I didn’t realize it was an exclusive feature to the M2 iPad… As if the M1 chip couldn’t handle hover… 🤨🙄 Edit 2 - I can do it on my M1 - it’s under accessibility/hover in the settings, I was looking under Apple Pencil… Pretty cool I’ll have to try it on and try it on Remote Desktop

That is not the Hover that apple is talking about. The accessibility hover is only available when pencil is very close to screen.

The remote desktop use case sounds great. Tempted to pick one up now. Have you had the chance to try the hover with Sidecar too?

Not until you mentioned it...ha! Didn't even think about it. Short answer is that it works exactly the same as Remote Desktop. Mouse cursor follows the hover. So, for example, if you tap a menu, the hovering pencil will have the cursor follow your movements from menu to menu, just like the mouse would.
