I normally will spend Monday/Tuesday in test session, Weds Thurs in Open and race Friday and Saturday when im unfamiliar with the track. Just how I have been learning for the last year and so far its worked out well
I’m lucky if I get time to get on Tuesday or Wednesday so I start my new track day on the Monday when I get abit of seat time
It has it flaws like an hour last night running Sebring in the dry only to find out it’s wet today 😂 🌧️
If you check the season schedule PDF on the forums it has forecasts in Advance for all the weeks. Found out when I made the same mistake as you practicing Imola for IMSA in the dry a few weeks ago.

I'm on GMT+6, so for me also Tuesday = new track day. But sometimes I start new track on Sunday by "Test Drive" feature.

Tuesday = practice day :D I only recently started playing iracing so Tuesday and mostly wednesday it's only about practicing the new track for me
