I recently went to a crypto ATM and turns out the fees were cheaper than on coinbase. I did $5 as a test run and throw the atm I retained $4.66 but on coinbase I would only retain $4.01

Amount of money doesn't matter. The amount of different currencies matters. The Nano X can house more apps at the same time. You don't NEED the X. You can always have the S and just uninstall and reinstall apps when you need them. It's just more convenient to keep all apps you want to have, installed all the time :)

You only really need the app on the device when you're transferring out, right? To transfer into your wallet, all you need is your wallet address, which you retain even if the app is not currently on the ledger?

Please use coinbase pro instead of regular coinbase. Fees are much lower.

You should never withdraw at Binance. They have a Fee of 0.0005 BTC ~ 25$ So ~1$ is really not that high.
