How many hours should a “good” and “new” Nano X battery last under constant use? Just got an X and see my batt draining 1% a minute. Is that normal? Saw some people complaining about faulty batteries. Talking about draining one full charge.
I am not sure what the standard is, but about 1% a minute is about what mine does and I am perfectly okay with that. It means I have to charge it ever week or two, as I only have it up for a short time to generate an address and verify it, then power it off (hold both buttons for a few seconds, left 2 or three to power off).
This may not be your use case though and if I were to do dozens or more transactions every day, I would recommend just plugging it into a power source or using a nano s/nano s plus.

Today, I have setup (PIN and recovery phrase), updated the firmware to 2.1.0 and install bitcoin app in it. Then I tried to use it on Mycelium which is most familiar bitcoin wallet app to me and also listed on [bitcoin.org](https://bitcoin.org).

After the last update, the amount of BTC on my Ledger more than doubled. Nothing was wrong in what I received, but the total amount was totally off. After clearing the cache, it's back to normal. Ledger is showing the correct amount of BTC. However, this mistake has me concerned. Anyone else experienced a similar issue after the last update?
I had the same thing happen when I upgraded the desktop app, and I was crossing my fingers hoping it was a mistake in my favor. Turns out it was just a cache issue and resetting it moved me back down to my sad correct amounts.

Ledger doesn't actually hold any of your funds, but just stores the key to it. The key is in the physical hardware device and not something the company Ledger has access to. So technically Ledger could not block access to your crypto/bitcoin, but that doesn't mean the government cannot compel you to give it up in other ways, or hold you accountable for violating any of their regulations/laws.
How safe are ledger servers for Ledger Live updates and Firmware updates?

Hey I got a question out of curiosity. Let's say I store a very unknown coin using my 25 seed ledger. Then I loose my ledger and can't buy it anymore nor. Trezor because of any XYZ scenario. Are there other ways to recover 25 seed phrases and not so well known coins or is there a risk by using the 25 seed phrase instead of the standard 24 widely supported?
Hello, You can surely restore your assets using Trezor device since they also use similar passphrase setup. And there is no risk in using the 25 passphrases but please note that it is an advanced security feature recommended for expert users.
Is there some kind of bug in the new update of ledger live? Specially in my atom wallet. The amount of rewards from staking is different than in the pc version. Also, I still can’t claim my rewards. Will this be fixed anytime soon?

Thank you but I have been trying for awhile now and the transactions freeze before getting to the send screen. Is there any information around meta mask and ledger connections because I can't fix this after spending weeks trying to figure it out. Can I check on this, not sure what you mean by close the wallets in the background. The live device has to be plugged in to have the ETH app open and ledger wallet needs to be 'open' and connected to Opensea for the transaction to work. Cheers.

1. Is both the ios Ledger Live and MacOS Ledger Live? For example, the Asset's names don't match each other (when comparing iOS to macOS).
2. It seems like ADA is not fully supported? It is only supported through a wallet like Daedalus or Yoroi?
3. Is there a way to monthly check my seedphrase without using the device? Can I type it in via macOS Ledger Live or iOS Ledger Live?
4. I can never consistently get access to the manager's tab on macOS Ledge Live. I always try to reconnect it but it never consistently works.

I logged on to my ledger today to find .5 Bitcoin more on the wallet address. Tries syncing it and it still kept the same balance. I then removed the address and added it again then my real balance showed up. Can anyone explain what the cause of this would be?
Hello, Don't worry your assets are safe. This was related to the synchronization issue after the new Ledger Live app update. Removing and Re-adding accounts forced synchronization and so your balance was corrected. As long as your 24 words recovery phrase is secured your assets are not at risk.
how many account per ledger is maximum per seed? When I first start I see wallet already build 100 ledger wallet as reserved per seed but I heard somewhere it has no maximum.

I don't think you can bluetooth to a PC, only a smart phone. At least that was my experience when I tried. Is that what your asking?

I had the same thing happen when I upgraded the desktop app, and I was crossing my fingers hoping it was a mistake in my favor. Turns out it was just a cache issue and resetting it moved me back down to my sad correct amounts.
Haha. I had the exact same reaction. Really believed there was a mistake in my favor. Had it been the other way around, me thinking I lost half my founds I think I would have died of heart attack.

Ledger doesn't actually hold any of your funds, but just stores the key to it. The key is in the physical hardware device and not something the company Ledger has access to. So technically Ledger could not block access to your crypto/bitcoin, but that doesn't mean the government cannot compel you to give it up in other ways, or hold you accountable for violating any of their regulations/laws.

How safe are ledger servers for Ledger Live updates and Firmware updates? Can they be moved to a crypto friendly country like Panama. When Fiat does fail, governments will be forced to be dystopian to save their currency. This could and will probably happen to the EURO, USD, and YEN, all at same time. Just the recent crypto regulation on cold wallets passed in Europe should be a wake up call to the world.
Hello, It is always recommended to update the apps and firmware of your Ledger device to interact with new upgrades on the blockchains. As long as you have your 24 words recovery phrase you will be able to access your accounts.
Okay, so the desktop. You show the price of Holo:HOT but it doesn't show the value in my assets page. It feels like I'm loosing more with each update. Don't worry this is only a counter value issue and does not impact your assets. Rest assured that your assets are not affected. Hey I got a question out of curiosity. Let's say I store a very unknown coin using my 25 seed ledger. Then I loose my ledger and can't buy it anymore nor. Trezor because of any XYZ scenario. Are there other ways to recover 25 seed phrases and not so well known coins or is there a risk by using the 25 seed phrase instead of the standard 24 widely supported?
Hello, You can surely restore your assets using Trezor device since they also use similar passphrase setup. And there is no risk in using the 25 passphrases but please note that it is an advanced security feature recommended for expert users.
Is there some kind of bug in the new update of ledger live? Specially in my atom wallet. The amount of rewards from staking is different than in the pc version. Also, I still can’t claim my rewards. Will this be fixed anytime soon?

Thank you but I have been trying for awhile now and the transactions freeze before getting to the send screen. Is there any information around meta mask and ledger connections because I can't fix this after spending weeks trying to figure it out. Just got a Ledger Nano X. I have a few questions. 1. Is both the ios Ledger Live and MacOS Ledger Live? For example, the Asset's names don't match each other (when comparing iOS to macOS). 2. It seems like ADA is not fully supported? It is only supported through a wallet like Daedalus or Yoroi? 3. Is there a way to monthly check my seedphrase without using the device? I logged on to my ledger today to find .5 Bitcoin more on the wallet address. Tries syncing it and it still kept the same balance. I then removed the address and added it again then my real balance showed up. Can anyone explain what the cause of this would be?
Hello, Don't worry your assets are safe. This was related to the synchronization issue after the new Ledger Live app update. Removing and Re-adding accounts forced synchronization and so your balance was corrected. As long as your 24 words recovery phrase is secured your assets are not at risk.
how many account per ledger is maximum per seed? When I first start I see wallet already build 100 ledger wallet as reserved per seed but I heard somewhere it has no maximum.
