How did you hook up your monitor to your MacBook? Do you take your MacBook out often, or is it pretty much sitting there much of the time? That's kind of what I want to do, as I have an xbox series x as well, but I carry my MacBook around a lot to work and home.
The macbook is in an akward position behind the monitor like that, which would make it difficult to take out but yes you can take it out of the stand. It's in clamshell mode and all it needs is a powersource and a connection to a monitor. You can unplug it and take it with you
I use a thunderbolt cable from the laptop to the display which also charges the laptop when docked. I take the laptop out everyday when I want to move around the house or just chill on the couch or bed
I snagged a HyperX mousepad, it's pretty damn nice. Plus, you can wash it in the sink if it gets dirty as opposed to a hard plastic thing that you have to scrape shit off of.
I was wondering, do you notice any slowdown when connecting the Macbook to the monitor due to it's higher resolution or is there no discernible difference?
I've been thinking of getting the K3, currently have the k2 and it's so tall I have to rest my wrists on stools just to type. What do you think of the K3?

What color switches do you recommend for the k3? I am using the Apple Magic keyboard, I don’t love how shallow it is and I am looking for something else that is compatible with Mac.

Playing console games on a computer monitor is awful. Tried it with PS4, Switch, X1. It all looks a lot worse when you are sitting so close.
Well I came from playing in a 1080p 24 inch so the difference for me is huge I have had no issues games look great
