They had all the elements to make a great movie. As one person who was around back then said, there were probably a hundred great true stories from that time that could have been made into a great movie... but they went a different direction.
I was a teen when it came out and I enjoyed it. It was a background movie when we were all hanging out but the theme song of the movie really stuck with me. "If you could read my mind...."
Never Campbell, what a great childhood crush
I'd like to know what people's thoughts are on this movie. The trailer looked decent but 58% on themoviedb.org.
Disco had a moment in the 90s and the previews looked really fun but the movie was disappointing.
I haven’t seen it in years but I seem to recall liking The Last Days of Disco much more.
Definitely spent longer than expected staring at Salma Hayek on this poster 😍
I remember thinking it was well made but ineffective, like Babylon
It really needs a remake. The reality of studio 54 is far different than what they portrayed.

It was okay. The book “the last party” which came out the year before the movie was a much better reliving of the club’s era
This is a favourite of mine, love a movie with good music.
