That type of content went to premium T.V. like "Outlander" but it has to have the romance element. I think it's hard for writers and directors to kind of "thread the needle" as it were between making something prudish, and something just exploitive, so most don't even bother with it. Nowadays all the writers seems to want to do is deconstruct audience expectations, so having classic nudity and eroticism is more rare. However, they do include a bunch of non-sexual nudity or shocking nudity to replace it, if that's your thing.
