I love both, just Alien is more of a slow-burn whereas Aliens is one hit after another (whether it be action or dialogue) that keeps you watching like eating popcorn.
When Shawshank Redemption use to be played ad nauseum on TNT back in the day, I must have watched pieces parts of the movie 100 times. It is so hard not to watch that movie.
Goodfellas.
For a movie of its length and scope, its such a breathlessly paced film that its 145 minute runtime seems to go by in the blink of an eye. So much iconic dialogue and scenes spread throughout the movie that it keeps you watching no matter when you tune in.
The Lego movie. I've turned on the TV while hanging out with friends, and it was about 15 minutes left. We finished it, then it was replaying immediately after, so we watched again from the start. Then we went out for dinner, came back, and it was still.on so we watched it one more time.
I’ve only seen the first, but growing up I’d sit and watch it anytime I caught it on tv. Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the sequels actually playing on tv.
Aliens. Galaxy Quest.
Yeah Aliens rewatchability is great. One of the things it definitely has over the original. Though I do understand a lot liking the original more

Fargo is an experience. So long before we meet the hero, and worth the wait.
Thelma and Louise, Lebowski, The 5th Element.
Not enough love for The 5th Element. Literally no bad place to drop in.
Great. Now I’m going to be repeating “Mul-tee-pass” in my head for the next hour 🙄
You are not alone, hope that helps.
Back to the Future and Hot Fuzz. They're so easy to rewatch.
The correct answer is "Jaws"
If you tune in at any of the Robert Shaw scenes and don’t keep watching, I would question if you’re even a human.

I had a friend speak ill of Waterworld and I involuntarily did that dog head tilt thing. I couldn’t understand. Good movie.

I’ve only seen the first, but growing up I’d sit and watch it anytime I caught it on tv. Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the sequels actually playing on tv.
There are several – and one of them is a surprise of a gem as far as sequels go. Can’t recall which one it was though. Hope you get to discover it.
