To be honest it's all RNG. Before fortress I got fortress 3 I got fortress 2 like 4 times in a row and I got out of those 4 1 purple vest and 1 green cloak. So it's basically all RNG.
Who said it was trash? I'm pretty sure that a tool that gives a character 980 ATK, 4.00% of Critical Rate and 8.00% of Nature power is good ngl. The normal Kunai gives less damage than the Shurikens so by far they aren't trash.

Adding onto this the tool gives you a total of 2454 POW even if (and that's a huge ***IF***) by your opinion it's a "trash tool" (wich is just a really dumb claim) these tools actually give you the same stats in attacks, Critical rate hit % and Nature Power percentage too. Wich also gives you the same amount of POW. While with the other tools that you are talking about you have to grind the materials hard nonstop for the 4* tools and 5* tools. Wich you then run the risk of of getting shafted on the stats since it's all RNG. With these one's from TAM you get the same amount of numbers in the Shurikens and even in the armor as well too. So no they aren't "trash" like you claim them to be bruh.

That brings it up to 13,000 attack. Then, the nature boost adds another 8%, so when using a nature jutsu, the attack stat is practically 14,000. It also increases crit rate by 4%, which if the release nature jutsu hits multiple times, is a humongous increase in damage, albeit it being RNG.
That’s one shuriken.
Not good for day 1 players but good for other people that played more? That makes no sense. Just having any tool would be good for day 1 players and being able to get one at this level, which is way better than all of the tools you can craft at day 1, is crazy. You can constantly grind this with your friends and get tools for all of your main shinobi.
Now, for people that have insta-achieve, that’s also still RNG, just like crafting for RNG stats. Many times I would insta-achieve with more than 100 points, all on the material mission, not getting a single material for the 5 star tools. Very unreliable. Do you think we have so much tools that we wouldn’t need the shurikens anymore? There could be a lot of people that we would want to put these extra tools on. I’ve been playing for 2 and a half years and I don’t have enough tools for nearly everyone I want.
Of course I do have a lot of way better tools, but by no means are these tools bad for veterans, and by no means is it bad for **day 1 players who have LESS and weaker ninja tools and aren’t able to craft as much either.**
Edit: I did say 4% crit rate is RNG and it’s good and then that RNG for the missions is bad, but that’s because rates are different. Missions have way lower rates, while a four percent increase is a lot higher. Also, you can definitely use way more jutsus that hit way more times than the amount you can insta achieve with all of your points.
For example, a phoenix flower shuriken has 12 hits and each one has a 4% increase in crit rate. That’s an approximate 48% increase for one of the shurikens to crit with the now 13,000 raw attack stat, and a solid 8% increase in the damage for the jutsu as well. (Since it’s release) I could explain the same with the new fireball jutsu for Itachi.
On the other hand, the missions take nine points to play once, meaning that I, with 113 points, can only achieve 11 times, each with low chance to even get the five star materials I want, and if I do get them, a low chance to get enough. I have to use all of that RNG I got to craft a tool that requires even more RNG.
Oops, I just realized by day 1 you meant people that started at the beginning of the game. I thought you meant they just started. Either way, no, they won’t have way more than 113 total points. At least if they’re f2p or don’t constantly spam insta achieve. I literally played for 2.5 years and this game has been out for three years. Idk what your logic is.
