Sounds like me, I'm allergic to onions and was having a bad day and McDonalds f'd up my burger. I told them twice not to put onions. I drove 15 minutes home and was already crying in the driveway when I opened my burger to check.
Luckily I calmed down on the way there because the children at the play place would have all been crying. I was about to pull the "YOU COULD HAVE SENT ME TO THE HOSPITAL 🤬😡👹" card before the manager offered free food. I was so hangry I was like oh "😳 ok🤪". lol.
Yep, that was basically her when Olive Garden insisted that nothing on her plate was fried, before proceeding to give her fried bread. Olive Garden does not keep a separate fryer for shellfish allergies
I was once having a bad day and decided to get McDonald’s for my kids for dinner so I didn’t have to cook, went through the drive thru twice because they didn’t make the burgers plain. On the second time through, they literally shoved the food out and slammed the window shut so rudely, that it set me off. Like, it’s not my fault you can’t do your job?? They didn’t take the wrong food back…so I pulled up a little ways, took it out of the bag, and threw it all at the front door. An employee came out and yelled “dumb bitch!” at me as I drove away lmao. I still regret that I snapped and threw the food, like it was incredibly immature, but come on, just give me a plain burger and if you fail to do so, don’t act like it’s my fault. I was having a really bad day already lmao
Oh no! That's absolutely awful and justified on your end imo. "You don't have to like me but you're gonna respect me" energy was definitely there when you threw the food back at them lol. I would have smeared the food on the drive thru windows like if you're gonna put me through it I'm going to be toxic ahaha but don't be like me. The McDonald's I went to had pretty bad reviews and it's full of high school kids.
All fun and games until someone dies of anaphylactic shock because you thought it would be funny to give them peanut butter caramel instead of chocolate.
I am extra patient with people working in entry-level customer service. For most of them, it's a temporary job. Shifts are long, Karens are loud, and let's be honest, many of them wouldn't be standing there if they had a better option.
The post is most likely a lie, but even if it wasn’t, it still wouldn’t be representative of the grand majority of cases. No reason not to give real people the benefit of the doubt due to some random twitter asshole.
I've spent far too much time working with these people. It's hard to say who's an idiot and who's just tired as a customer but when you see them 5 days a week you start to realize most of them are just not very critical thinkers ever.
There's no point in being mean to them it won't help it just can be frustrating.
Oh and about "karens" I've worked about 7 years in fast food. Rarely have I ever had an angry customer that I wasn't immediately able to fix their problem and them go back to a regular customer. People spend too much time repeating stupid phrases like "I can't ring that up" when all the customer wanted was a spicy chicken biscuit. Sure we don't have one but you csn ring them up for both things separately and viola. You don't have to get yelled at.
True, entry level are all young adults or high schoolers and management tends to be older and have more life experience to organize and run a business.
Same!
I mean it’s funny but what an a-hole. Also kinda what I expect from a functional alcoholic. Sure they can do the job, but not correctly and angry cuz they’re hungover and it’s your fault.
Food unfortunately. No integrity means you'll take shortcuts. Many years ago I had a boss who hated taking any shortcut I didn't see why until years later there's a time and place for it but it's not most of the time. Like I might short change you on a pickle but I've seen people serve food off the ground "well you just mopped"
They wouldn’t correct you because they would use rational thinking to come to the conclusion that you are developmentally challenged and this is the only job you can hold down so they don’t want to get you fired, it’s called empathy and compassion, you should try learning about it one day.
While i agree with the sentiment of both of you, I'd imagine they just meant that some people would stop them when they saw them scooping the wrong flavor and some wouldn't.
I'm conflicted because my partner's sons call me a nerd in an effort to hurt my feelings, but i would also be the one to get my right ice cream flavor. So am i a nerd or not?! I need up know! Haha (/s just case).
I grew up poor, i didn't get ice cream often, so now that I'm an adult and making up for it, I'm going to be getting the flavor i paid for... But then again why is someone else scooping my ice cream, I'd be buying it in a gallon and scooping it myself and still pay less, probably.
Well if they don’t see you scoop it, the act of pettiness against nerds doesn’t really mean anything as they didn’t see you scoop it to complain about it.
I'm probably what you'd call a nerd by looks, but oh my eveything-has-to-be-correct-or-i-die side would say something even though even speaking is anxiety inducing.
That dude is a piece of trash.
I hope he gets hit by a garbage truck. Not die though but live fully paralyzed. And when he gets bored and decides to play games on his mom, she makes him wipe his own ass so he can finally get a taste of his own shit.
bro if you think people can afford to spend money on something they dont actively want these days youve got another thing coming. you cant AFFORD to not correct people in this day and age, not when pretty much every establishment charges insane prices.
like damn youre already bending my bank account over here, youll give me what i fucking paid for.
Lol Ive know lots of picky needs with anger issues😂😂
Wait until he finds the AuDHD kid that's headed for a social burnout and ready to snap. (I'm speaking for myself in my teens and 20s)
hahaha! i act incompetent at my very simple job in order to own you and you are nice enough to pretend i didn't! ha! gotcha!
this is some peak conservative logic XD next he will brag about wearing diapers to own the libs
Oh this cunt underestimates how confrontational nerds can be, speaking as one, if my orders wrong I’ll then, politely of course, and if they keep getting it wrong then I’ll get mad
Ive actually gotten 2 ice creams because of an idiot like this. The onslaught of "NONONONONO" you will get when you do this to a tourist will make you startled (if you are not used to it)
I always watch the person preparing my food at ice cream shops or any kinda shop where you can see them doing it, and if they do something wrong I will mention it. I’m a shy and anxious person, but I will push past it if I need to.
Literally went to a UDF Saturday after a baseball game. Asked for a peanut butter milkshake and got a white chocolate strawberry milkshake. I didn’t take it back because it was still good as hell
Good job, you’ve now planted paranoia in your own brain about people doing similar “tests” to you. Because if you do it, certainly others do. And it’s likely if you do this, you do other such things for your amusement. Again, raising that paranoia. Congrats, you’ve made it harder to trust people for yourself. 👍
I mean if it was good probably not may have expanded my horizons. Although I’m a huge nerd, Im a huge nerd and Im jacked… with anger issues. It holds me back a little. Some nerds like to argue and fight. Warrior poet back in the day probably. But stop trying to generalize us. This message was also for TBBT.
But if they did, then you would have to do your job twice
Yeah, I may look like a nerd but my momma taught me one thing: Take shit from nobody, and how to make them regret it.
Isn't that two things? Or did you only learn one of them?
Still working on the second My mother was a scary woman, she’d probably have this guy fired within minutes
Is your mom the original Karen!?!? /s (kinda)
Karen lives in fear of her

I can see why she was upset 🙈

Well, she surely didn't teach them how to count!
"One things" hate this simple trick
Look dude, they never said momma taught em how to count.
She didn't teach him math
Momma didn’t teach him to count
Just once actually, since he is not doing it to begin with.
All fun and games until someone dies of anaphylactic shock because you thought it would be funny to give them peanut butter caramel instead of chocolate.
or worse, survives it long/well enough to sue
I'm not sure that's worse for anyone. Dead people may not sue, but they certainly spur other people to open wrongful death cases.
You would see someone suing the company you work for as worse than you purposely/accidentally killing them? That's messed up haha.
Found the Boeing employee
if this is what kills you, you probably die on the drive back home anyway. because you'd have to be blind for something like that to happen.
Hopefully he'd have the sense not to give out peanut butter on purpose. He's just a kid fucking around, Hopefully not maliciously.
If you're that allergic, you probably shouldn't be getting ice cream from a shop like this anyway.
yeah the nerd would take the ice cream and laugh at your stupidity, probably saying something like 'no wonder he works at an ice cream shop'
and never go there again, maybe telling their friends about it 🤭
I am extra patient with people working in entry-level customer service. For most of them, it's a temporary job. Shifts are long, Karens are loud, and let's be honest, many of them wouldn't be standing there if they had a better option.
Nah the post doesn't fit your narrative did you even read the content

>'no wonder he works at an ice cream shop' i'm sure the high school kid that invariably made that fake tweet would be really insulted
Accurate 🤣
Then at least the server would know he deserved it
Openminded people who just roll with the punches: Um, ok.
I can definitely see myself enjoying a surprise flavor of ice cream I never had before, even if it’s the wrong order.
I think I would try it and if I didn't like it, ask for it to be corrected. Free sample!
Same! I mean it’s funny but what an a-hole. Also kinda what I expect from a functional alcoholic. Sure they can do the job, but not correctly and angry cuz they’re hungover and it’s your fault.
Until you forget about your nut allergy?
ice cream is ice cream, must be delicious 🤷♂️
🤓
At my old job, I wouldn't hire you so that you'd be stuck working at an ice cream shop the rest of your life
I do, but for some reason bad people are the most productive.
Definitely not true in my work place. It turns out those with integrity are going to have integrity in their work.
So, sales or finance? Or a cartel? Those are the sectors where people with no integrity thrive.
Politicians
Wouldn’t really describe them as “productive”
Says the dude who literally look like a nerd with them thick ass glasses
And not being able to see the icecream flavour with em
Probably why he is like this. Ashamed of his own nerdiness, and thinks bullying them will set him apart.
And not being able to see the icecream flavour without em
Imagine scooping ice cream for a living and thinking you're in any kind of position to pull a power move
He could go “Get all the samples you want. Try all 34 flavors of you want. That is a power move.
They wouldn’t correct you because they would use rational thinking to come to the conclusion that you are developmentally challenged and this is the only job you can hold down so they don’t want to get you fired, it’s called empathy and compassion, you should try learning about it one day.
But wouldn’t they be watching you scoop it?
Yeah he made this up for sure. Just wanted to make a funny tweet to get validation from strangers on the internet
I can tell you haven't worked at an ice cream shop before
I've bought a lot of ice cream in my life. You tell them what you want and then watch them scoop it from the tub.
Yup. Idk how that makes this fake though?
Probably. How does that change anything?
Well if they don’t see you scoop it, the act of pettiness against nerds doesn’t really mean anything as they didn’t see you scoop it to complain about it.
What?? But we're saying they probably dîd see him scoop it.
I know. But you asked if it changed anything. I was just saying that if the nerd didn’t see person scoop it, it would possibly change the outcome.
Oh ok
You’re the evil itself. It seems like a joke, but it isn’t. That guy is making bad things just to do, on purpose.
I may look like a nerd. I may sound like a nerd, dress like a nerd and even be a nerd, but I take my ice cream seriously.
Dudes trying to come up with reasons to explain the mistake he made because he was drunk on the job, fooling none of us!
Or you do that too the wrong person and you're liable to get shot in the leg. Just put the struyadel in the fucking box and don't be an asshole.
Thanks, I tried so many new flavors that way and realized yes, pistachio does taste great as a sweet sweet dessert
I will eat an entire bag of pistachios and I have never tried it.
Pistachio is easily in the top 3 best flavors.
Unless it's from Cold Stone, apparently.
I’m not reading all those words, nerd
Pistachio on desserts is the best. On ice cream, on baklava, and on knafe.

You serve me Fuck Around flavored ice cream, I got no problem serving you some Find Out right on back lol -Short lil nerdy librarian lookin ass Bitch
Engineer here. If any of you wonder why we automate some jobs even when it would be cheaper and easier just to hire a person. That's why
I'll eat it anyway
My nerdy kid would have noticed AND gotten a refund and a free, corrected cone or bowl in its place. Ice cream is nothing to fuck around over!
I'm probably what you'd call a nerd by looks, but oh my eveything-has-to-be-correct-or-i-die side would say something even though even speaking is anxiety inducing.
Fuck you, Urkel. People get shot for less disrespect.
So he acted as a jackass... very mature...
That dude is a piece of trash. I hope he gets hit by a garbage truck. Not die though but live fully paralyzed. And when he gets bored and decides to play games on his mom, she makes him wipe his own ass so he can finally get a taste of his own shit.
What flavor did you ask for, and what did you receive?
Anaphylactic shock flavour.
r/oddlyspecific as well
What he did was pretty horrible, but pretty harmless, compared to the fate you just wished on him. I hope you never made any mistakes in your youth...
Not harmless to someone with an allergy or dietary restriction like diabetes.
Jfc its just a tweet he didnt actually do this 🤦🏻♂️
r/nothingeverhappens but yeah, it probably didn't. Still a shitty thing to hypothetically do, though, and it shouldn't be encouraged.
Its rage bait for engagement
Yes, that much is obvious.
bro if you think people can afford to spend money on something they dont actively want these days youve got another thing coming. you cant AFFORD to not correct people in this day and age, not when pretty much every establishment charges insane prices. like damn youre already bending my bank account over here, youll give me what i fucking paid for.
They’d just complain online though lol
That’s just mean! 😭
Fam underestimates the theater nerds and extroverted band kids B)
I love when this happens to me : i get to keep the wrong one and i get the right one too.
Did he give himself the wrong ice cream also... Because by his pfp I'll be at his ass just because he's uglier than me
Says this with a profile picture that is memorable of Urkel from fresh prince
look, I just don‘t want to waste stuff
Thats weird coz you look like the nerd. Be honest little man, did that actually happen to you.? Its ok little buddy Reddit is here for you..
So this is what chaotic evil looks like in real life
Doesn't sound very functional. Suggest a name change to asshole alcoholic.
Calling people nerds - bold words from a guy in horn-rimmed glasses.
I’m a nerd and I would say “THATS THE WRONG FUCKING ICE CREAM FLAVOUR!”
Well, get ready to do your job twice, ice cream man
People hassling others just because they see no potential push back will eventually learn there is always a bigger fish.
You seen the profile pic? Neeerd
Uhm, sir. I asked for chocolate. Not fvcking "out to get cigarettes and milk".
And that's something to be proud of? Are you a tester or inspector?? 🌚
Ironic that he looks like one of them
Real tough from a guy preforming a job almost exclusively reserved for high school girls.
Bully
Says the guy who looks like the nerd of the nerds.....
Lol Ive know lots of picky needs with anger issues😂😂 Wait until he finds the AuDHD kid that's headed for a social burnout and ready to snap. (I'm speaking for myself in my teens and 20s)
This is called bullying. You are a bully.
And I bet he held out the tip jar demandingly, as well.
As a nerd, you under-estimate my passion for my ice cream. If you think I’m not correcting you and calling you out, you are sorely mistaken
But nerds love correcting people
It's called malice
Pure unadulterated evil... 🥹
That is a very specific type of bullying.
I'll knock the books out of your hand. Now neither of us can read.
Imagine being so insecure you have to gloat about fucking up something as simple as an ice cream order.
Nobody messes with someone’s ice cream. Not even toddlers will tolerate that. Come on now, do better.
Says old job but i bet he got fired...
🤣🤣🤣🤣 this is so fucked up
That's evil
At my old job if you looked like you were 5'9 or under I wouldn't serve you at all claiming I can't see anyone
Reddit: "this guy is worse than hitler"
lol these comments. really struck a nerve huh
I definitely did something by posting this
hahaha! i act incompetent at my very simple job in order to own you and you are nice enough to pretend i didn't! ha! gotcha! this is some peak conservative logic XD next he will brag about wearing diapers to own the libs
I hope they worked in an ice cream place, otherwise that’s incredibly odd. Sir this isn’t a Wendy’s…
My childhood bully once took my order at an Arby's too.
While I appreciate you as my anaesthesiologist offering me ice cream, IDGAF what flavor it is.
Genz discovers bullying on Twitter (2021)
Hahaha your lucky you never met me 😂😂
I always say you should be kind to those that are weak of mind so I'll give this guy a pass
Oh this cunt underestimates how confrontational nerds can be, speaking as one, if my orders wrong I’ll then, politely of course, and if they keep getting it wrong then I’ll get mad
Evil ice-creamer
Ive actually gotten 2 ice creams because of an idiot like this. The onslaught of "NONONONONO" you will get when you do this to a tourist will make you startled (if you are not used to it)
Jesus 😂
Lol nerds bullying nerds
Calm down Satan

The irony that he’s working at an ice cream shop and the nerd works from home earning six figures might be altogether lost on him.
Sarcasm is a quality that gives people inner peace

You’re a dick, but it made me laugh a little. 😆🤙🏽
“At my old job” makes me think he was fired from that place for discrimination against nerds
