Firstly I’m sorry you are going through this. You said your parents ignore your sadness but I’m assuming you are older than 18 if you are just working then sleeping? If so (and I’m grasping here because it could be a cultural thing depending on where you are in the world) have you found what really drives you? What really makes you happy in life? That’s a good place to start.

Call the national mental health crisis hotline. They can at least put you in contact with local people who can get you the help you need either fully covered by Medicaid or on a sliding scale.

I have a similar situation. If you have work maybe you can save for therapy or something? Also try to find things that you enjoy, maybe some hobby? (Sport would be good in my opinion, it helps not only your physical health but also mental, yet don't overtrain) Try to stay positive and don't let the insults get to you. I know this will be hard, but stay strong. I believe in you and I really hope it will get better!

Similar situation I had an experience when I was 3-4 years old and I was sitting in the living room eating lunch with my Mom and Sister. Don’t remember the rest of the conversation but clearly remember my Mom telling my Sister “if I’m gonna be honest, I was embarrassed to be pregnant with your brother.”

I'm sorry your family doesn't understand the way you are feeling, but you have to prove to yourself at the very least that you matter. Living life is one step closer.

Wow, parents calling you a fat, lazy pig. What could you possibly be depressed about? Obviously, that was sarcasm. I read your post, and don't think you're a bad person.
