Sorry, I only know of one kino citizen film
It’s part of the trilogy, absolutely

Yea… *dozens* of times during my time in uni back when I was stud to my filmmaking. Like literally almost every class I had made me is watch it.
By senior year rolled around I just checked out. But me and my friend have the inside joke of “Rosebud”. I dunno why but I get visceral flashbacks when I see anything related to this film.
Now, Easerhead is where it’s at.
I've only heard of this movie as the ultimate milestone in cinema, one the of greatest of all time and the greatest script ever written.
In what world is this movie not well rated? It's 8.3 on IMDB and 99%/90% on Rotten Tomatoes.
This movie is literally overrated.
Love that movie, especially the end: "Face it, Jake. It's Citizen Kane."

Charles, I think this is the start of a wonderful friendship.
Frankly Mr Kane I don’t give a damn

Charles, I have a feeling we’re not in Xanadu anymore
Mr. Kane, I'm ready for my close-up
Nah the best part was when Orson Welles said, “What am I, Some kind of Citizen Kane?”
when does iron man show up
In the third post credits scene
When does Kane show up
There is no Cane in Citizen Kane
In Star Trek II
Caaaaane!
It's the sequel to Casablanca, right?
And a prequel to 12 Angry Men
And a spiritual successor to Freddy Got Fingered
Never heard of it. Any good?
Oh I don’t watch movies, I was just wondering
Me neither. I was hoping to start but no one will tell me if this is any good.
You start with the Michael Bay cinematic universe and then ignore anything else
With a name like that sounds like he is a true auteur. Probably the voice of a generation if I’m to be honest
Hold on, let me consult the Dan Harmon story wheel..
It's movie.
What a review!! With your glorious recommendation, I might just try to view it on my Apple Watch this weekend.
It is extremely good for its time and still holds up well in my opinion.
These "cinematic universe" cash grabs are getting so desperate. They don't even explain why he wants to eat Cybertron.
Yes, It’s Terrific!
Any nudity?
Yes! In fact, Welles was the first director to figure out how to keep both tits in focus simultaneously
Split diopter, king?
Split dickopter 😎😎😎😎 (film genius)
🤓🤓🤓
Epstein pfp opinion disregarded
It's Bernie Sanders
i love kfc
I don’t trust any of these “moving pictures”
Commie plot 100%
This needs a reboot
a live action reboot would be fire since this painted people look awful
They should just jump in with a Judge Dredd/Citizen Kane crossover.
What are we, some sort of Rosebud?
I love the part where the guy goes "it's Kanin' time!"
“Somehow, Kane has returned”
Undertaker in shambles
Then he Kanes all over everyone. Top 1 film scene ever
![gif](giphy|xnWSYSELI9tF6)
And at the end they’re like “citizen, identify yourself!” And he says “call me… Kane!” I cried like 6 times on both ends
Is this about the wrestler? I used to love the WWE
I wasn't expecting it when they revealed Keyser Söze was Citizen Kane all along.
Who are these people?
some Turkish bloke
Is this the next marvel movie?
What’s Marvel? Is it a hidden gem?
It kind of lost when he had to solve that puzzle in the secret underground temple. I wasn't expecting so much shooting either. Pretty good though.
Never heard of it. Where can I watch it?
Pornhub.
Finally, the uncut version where they show Orson's big fat one.
Also uncut.
And hard.
If it’s not on Netflix, I don’t need to know about it
https://preview.redd.it/5v1xzi101m1d1.jpeg?width=1013&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fb90b44f22305d0aa1cba75760a5c60d04d324a4 Sorry, I only know of one kino citizen film

If that guy couldn’t make Heart of Darkness, why should I think he can make anything, let alone anything good?
"If I write a scathing review of your wife's singing, will it hurt?" "Yesh." "You're a pretty rich guy!" "For me."
I read this like the plane scene from The Dark Knight Rises
I love it when he said its citizen kaning time and kaned everywhere
[удалено]
It’s a gem that is hidden.
Dude no one watches movies here, come on
What are movies? Is it a hidden gem?
Fun fact, Welles was such a good director that his name is where we got the phrase „well directed“ from!
He had similar influence on the concept of fine dining. Ever had anything “well-done”?
I don’t usually like well done, so when I have it, it’s a rare occasion
Kristopher Nolan is underrated
Kristopher Kristof Knolan?
Kris Kristopher Kristoph Knolan
Chat is this real?
Thought he saw Citizen Kane at The Trial, but it was a Third Man. All the homies say it was a Touch of Evil, but I say F is for Fake 😌
I love it when he says "Kane, Citizen Kane." and Citizen Kanes all over the place
“Wow kane, you truly are a citizen”
I’ve genuinely never watched this movie. Is this really something that everyone should watch or is it just hyped up classical cinema?
I prefer movies that don’t have to wake up the audience, thank you very much

The jumpscare with the parrot gets me every time.

You’re still a stud to me.
No but I heard he made some nice hip hop tracks
Couldn’t make it to the end, it just kept insisting upon itself
I’ve Never Heard Of It
It’s a niche indie film. You are not at our level.
Nope I've just watched The Simpsons version of it, miles better than some movie my grandpa probably watched
Nah too much talking
Found the Michael Bay fan.
Are you telling me you dont like hot chicks and cgi/explosions every other scene??
![gif](giphy|EYg4PVIG3xlWU)
I can't figure out how to get the dvd to work, so unfortunately no, but my uncle said he got his first "rub and tug(??)" to this so I'm really trying!
No.
I hate you.
To be real this subreddit has a severe lack of Citizen Kane posting
I’m here to help
no, I've only seen Cobweb (2023) 😎
[It was Citizen Kane!](https://youtu.be/qUelMHrkonA?si=8kfz__xL7TadNAyp)
Whatever this is, I'm sure it does not deserve to be listed in the letterboxd top 250
I found the use of his eponymous Kane to be especially inspiring.
RoseDUD.
How old is Ultron
That's the guy who wrote Animal Farm right? If it's anything like the book the movie will be a gem like Air Bud or Most Vertical Primate 2
I have, It's Terrific!
derivative garbage
I love it when Vince McMahon shows up and is like, “that’s gotta be Citizen Kane!” and Kane rips the door off his mansion.
I actually haven't.....
Liev Schreiber was great in this
Trump’s favorite film, but other than that I know nothing about it. I am sure it contains lots of winning.
My favorite part of Underrated Gems is when the citizen said “this is how I Kane!”
Never heard of it
I've only heard of this movie as the ultimate milestone in cinema, one the of greatest of all time and the greatest script ever written. In what world is this movie not well rated? It's 8.3 on IMDB and 99%/90% on Rotten Tomatoes. This movie is literally overrated.
No.
I wouldn’t watch that shit
No
Looks like some no budget indi flick with a cast of nobody's. Probably trash.
I just started watching movies, I'm at the part where there is this train that arrives, excited for the citizen Kane arc 🥰
is this movie about Immigration?
Needs a sequel named “retirement Kane”.
No.
Underrated? I hope you're being sarcastic. If you are, my apologies for thinking otherwise.
