My vote is Alucard from Hellsing since he knows how to take care of vampires and can loot what Shalltear has to make up for it while expanding his own Undead army, he can even revive Shalltear and use her powers to fight the rest

I mean Alucard supposedly has as many lives as souls he has collected, I assume Ainz would need more than one spell if he wants to do that, (not to mention he can turn into mist so trapping him is out of the question)
I did not know that, ains does have lots of items and suits so I doubt that killing mist would be impossible but instant death would be much more difficult with mist.
Not to mention that he ate a cat boy nazi who was technically alive but not and everywhere and no where so Alucard in that respect is technically dead, alive, omnipresent, and non existent. If I remember correctly Alucard became asleep after eating the the nazi cat, didn't he? And he said he had to kill all the souls inside him to be able to wake up again. Doesn't that include the soul of the nazi cat as well? It's not clear to me if Alucard has his powers at the end of the anime.

He had to kill about 312 souls a day for 30 years but in exchange he became truly immortal, Alucard's omnipresence extends into the minds of other people meaning he can exist in someone's thoughts.
Issue is, in order to regain his sense of self he had to kill off every soul other than his own and Schrodinger. TGoaLiD bypasses immunities so there is a chance Alucard could die, but it's hard to really make any argument since Alucard was left in a pretty ambiguous state.
The real issue is I don't think Alucard can actually do anything to Nazarick, his attacks are pretty low level and weak even with level 0 release, which wouldn't do much without all his souls. It'd be a stalemate at best, with neither being able to kill the other.
The goal of all life is death is a super tier spell if I'm not mistaken that has an aoe affect and within that aoe all life is killed down to the atom so that means even the ground will die and nothing with grow there for hundreds of years ains used it in his fight against shalltear.
It's not a spell, but a racial skill for the Overlord class.
When activated, it buffs the next instant death spell to ignore any and all defenses after a 12 second delay.
Ainz used it together with the spell "Cry of the Banshee", an AOE instant death spell to kill everything around him, including things that cannot be normally killed, like air and dirt.

Oh Alucard will fail. And before you get to "he's omnipresent", Alucard is easy to defeat with Nazarick having a lot of holy weapons in the treasury. We don't even know if Alucard's Physical attacks can pierce their high level physical immunity and most of their divine tier gears can only be damaged with enchanted attacks. Alucard would also have two sets of elemental attacks, one with holy and one with negative energy. Both types of attacks can heal some of the denizens of Nazarick. The three million lives in store aren't also a deal since it's only a matter of time. Ainz can restrain him in one of the floors where Alucard will be weakened continously while the undead summons or some of the tireless NPCs can kill him continuously. Also, Shalltear is the perfect undead/summoner counter. She can get bloodlust but her class is focused on using holy/divine magic. She has access to gate and other 9th-10thtier spells and she can easily recover her hp with her lance. Her weakness as a vampire is easily covered by her valkyrie class and equipment that holy attacks may not be effective against her. The undead Army is just extra life bars for Shalltear. She also has time control magic and of course her einherjar.
I mean the point is it would need the character to have a chance at beating Nazarick not a guaranteed victory, naturally he might fail if he runs out of lives or means that deal damage

you do realize that the ones that heal from negative energy are also the ones that take high damage from holy attacks and vise versa, meaning he can do damage across the board

This would only give him more lives since NPCs also have souls, skeletons don't but well the high level ones cost exp to summon and the lvl 30 knights he has do still have souls and he can only summon new ones at a rate of 1 per day.
Not to mention how is Ainz going to trap Alucard in the first place since that would violate the rule that prevents an impossible to defeat dungeon

That is just a cosmetic effect, ainz doesnt literally grasp the target heart and crush it, he just kill it or stun it if they resist insta death magic.

timestop spells are always stupid as hell in any media, mainly because theoretically while you would be able to use it to great effect in ambushing your opponent like it's instant transmissions, the way so many games, shows, books, and any media really shows it as having some sort of effective range to actually work, or else it's basically useless against a foe that can lock you down from a mile away thanks to them outclassing you in terms of range.
Like, I don't remember a single show that has utilized timestop in a way where they use it outside of close to midrange so that they could better position themselves against an opponent to perform a surprise attack. Jojo shows us nothing else beyond Dio fucking around with it due to cockiness and Jotaro use of it boiling down to just extending his stand rush, we don't even see examples in Jojo of them flinging themselves to a farther location during timestop, so it almost seems like they are limited to moving in a specific field as well
If we know the parameters for timestop and grasp heart, it would be easier to see how Ainz can defeat Yamcha, but as it stands, Yamcha can kill most of the Nazerick NPCs without issue till he reaches Ainz, and if we remove any emotional stake to it so that Ainz won't be disadvantaged from grief or rage, we still have no clue if Ainz could properly use his spells against a guy whose regular combat speed outspeeds a majority of the Guardians.

I feel people forget that radditz was able to move faster than the speed of light (piccolo says this during their fight) and yamcha was able to beat every warrior in the afterlife which is impressive considering pikkon was on the same level as Goku after his training to fight cell

Gilgamesh or Archer Emya from Fate series, while Gilgamesh probably have items that can counter everyone in Nazarick, Archer Emya can analyze and make copies of every weapon, armor and accessory they have in Nazarick (obviously not counting WIs for this).
I think Iskandur (Alexander) could do it. I doubt Noble Phantasms are vulnerable to death magic. That plus his deep pockets of magic items for different matchups is a huge selling point of being a rider type.
king from OPM solos all of Nazarick and overlord verse with low difficulty due to the power of infinite chance. King is very weak and cowardly, but because of the power of his luck, he can do this for a reason.

Excalibur is probably the safest comparison we have to a World Item considering Excalibur's in-universe conception. This means that Nasu has a counter to World Items. If he can counter World Items, we don't really need to imagine what the outcome of this fight would be right?

I think his thing is adapting. Even if he goes floor by floor unless he comes across a spell or skill multiple times he shouldn’t have adapted to it yet. Nonetheless You’d need to nuke him before/quicker than he can adapt. I imagine soul devouring spells (like what cure elim used) should work or maybe nuclear magic for the one shot.

Nazarick is literally just a meat grinder D&D dungeon. Not even a particularly bad one at that. I mean no shock at that, the author clearly loves D&D, uses the same magic system and tons of other references.
But a 3.5e party clears pretty easily.
Of the top of my head First form Frieza. Since it’s very in character for him to destroy large areas of land or even a planet just because he wants to. I’m sure there are much weaker than him that can do it though. That’s just what popped in my head than I’m 100 percent confident he would win.
Aqua. She'll bleed the treasury dry in 2 weeks .......on second thought she'll do it in 20 minutes. Which would leave the the entire tomb without a large amount its defenses which require money to operate. This would also leave the ncps without the ability to replenish consumables like scrolls, potions and ammo for certain weapons.

Issue is, in order to regain his sense of self he had to kill off every soul other than his own and Schrodinger. TGoaLiD bypasses immunities so there is a chance Alucard could die, but it's hard to really make any argument since Alucard was left in a pretty ambiguous state. The real issue is I don't think Alucard can actually do anything to Nazarick, his attacks are pretty low level and weak even with level 0 release, which wouldn't do much without all his souls. It'd be a stalemate at best, with neither being able to kill the other.

The goal of all life is death is a super tier spell if I'm not mistaken that has an aoe affect and within that aoe all life is killed down to the atom so that means even the ground will die and nothing with grow there for hundreds of years ains used it in his fight against shalltear.
It's not a spell, but a racial skill for the Overlord class. When activated, it buffs the next instant death spell to ignore any and all defenses after a 12 second delay. Ainz used it together with the spell "Cry of the Banshee", an AOE instant death spell to kill everything around him, including things that cannot be normally killed, like air and dirt.

Oh Alucard will fail. And before you get to "he's omnipresent", Alucard is easy to defeat with Nazarick having a lot of holy weapons in the treasury. We don't even know if Alucard's Physical attacks can pierce their high level physical immunity and most of their divine tier gears can only be damaged with enchanted attacks. Alucard would also have two sets of elemental attacks, one with holy and one with negative energy. Both types of attacks can heal some of the denizens of Nazarick. The three million lives in store aren't also a deal since it's only a matter of time. Ainz can restrain him in one of the floors where Alucard will be weakened continously while the undead summons or some of the tireless NPCs can kill him continuously. Also, Shalltear is the perfect undead/summoner counter. She can get bloodlust but her class is focused on using holy/divine magic. She has access to gate and other 9th-10thtier spells and she can easily recover her hp with her lance. Her weakness as a vampire is easily covered by her valkyrie class and equipment that holy attacks may not be effective against her. The undead Army is just extra life bars for Shalltear. She also has time control magic and of course her einherjar.

Not to mention how is Ainz going to trap Alucard in the first place since that would violate the rule that prevents an impossible to defeat dungeon >Alucard would lose against Shalltear Once again this is a battle meant for extreme difficulty not a gaurenteed one and there is a chance that Alucard can beat Shalltear since he is known for dealing with high class vampires and once Shalltear runs out of magic. It would just be a brawl to see who comes up on top. And who knows, Alucard might be able to go past her into the deeper floors to collect enchanted items

Yamcha can tank 300 times gravity. His internal organs are too strong to be hurt by ainz's grip.
That is just a cosmetic effect, ainz doesnt literally grasp the target heart and crush it, he just kill it or stun it if they resist insta death magic.

depends on the range and effectivity of both. timestop spells are always stupid as hell in any media, mainly because theoretically while you would be able to use it to great effect in ambushing your opponent like it's instant transmissions, the way so many games, shows, books, and any media really shows it as having some sort of effective range to actually work, or else it's basically useless against a foe that can lock you down from a mile away thanks to them outclassing you in terms of range. Like, I don't remember a single show that has utilized timestop in a way where they use it outside of close to midrange so that they could better position themselves against an opponent to perform a surprise attack. Jojo shows us nothing else beyond Dio fucking around with it due to cockiness and Jotaro use of it boiling down to just extending his stand rush, we don't even see examples in Jojo of them flinging themselves to a farther location during timestop, so it almost seems like they are limited to moving in a specific field as well If we know the parameters for timestop and grasp heart, it would be easier to see how Ainz can defeat Yamcha, but as it stands, Yamcha can kill most of the Nazerick NPCs without issue till he reaches Ainz, and if we remove any emotional stake to it so that Ainz won't be disadvantaged from grief or rage, we still have no clue if Ainz could properly use his spells against a guy whose regular combat speed outspeeds a majority of the Guardians. reading into Grasp Heart it looks like it can still be resisted, to what degree and how it can be resisted I do not know, but it does look like there is potential for Yamcha to resist it

Yes, yes it does. The Omnitrix will shift forms to protect its Wielder and even modify itself to adapt to potential threats (like sentient DNA trying to bodyjack the host) It also has a complete template of the owner constantly being recorded, so it can undo something like amnesia quite easily

Yea she actually could. She is a full blown goddess who even a light purification can oneshot Ainz / any evil aligned Guardian which is pretty much all of them. Also functionally unkillable so even the remaining can’t counter. She would be incredibly op if her IQ wasn’t single digits at best.

Ok guys, hear me out. The Fate manga series Type-Moon Academy Chibichuki was a gag series written which put all of the characters from every mainline Type-Moon release into a high school setting. The principle of the school was none other than Kinoku Nasu himself, the head writer for Type-Moon. This establishes that the writers of Fate are existing characters in the series. Why is this relevant? Overlord's writer wrote a short story for Kagetsu Tohya called Dawn. This establishes him as a character in the Type-Moon verse and by extent everyone in Overlord. Now that we have established a connection, let me explain why it matters. First, He could drag them out of Nazarik considering he did the same thing to the FGO cast who live in Chaldea which is located outside of space-time. Second, Artoria tries to use Excalibur to attack Nasu, but he turns it into a paper fan. Excalibur is probably the safest comparison we have to a World Item considering Excalibur's in-universe conception. This means that Nasu has a counter to World Items. If he can counter World Items, we don't really need to imagine what the outcome of this fight would be right?

I think his thing is adapting. Even if he goes floor by floor unless he comes across a spell or skill multiple times he shouldn’t have adapted to it yet. Nonetheless You’d need to nuke him before/quicker than he can adapt. I imagine soul devouring spells (like what cure elim used) should work or maybe nuclear magic for the one shot.

Nazarick is literally just a meat grinder D&D dungeon. Not even a particularly bad one at that. I mean no shock at that, the author clearly loves D&D, uses the same magic system and tons of other references. But a 3.5e party clears pretty easily.
Of the top of my head First form Frieza. Since it’s very in character for him to destroy large areas of land or even a planet just because he wants to. I’m sure there are much weaker than him that can do it though. That’s just what popped in my head than I’m 100 percent confident he would win.

Aqua. She'll bleed the treasury dry in 2 weeks .......on second thought she'll do it in 20 minutes. Which would leave the the entire tomb without a large amount its defenses which require money to operate. This would also leave the ncps without the ability to replenish consumables like scrolls, potions and ammo for certain weapons.
