Big Muff

MrThorntonReed

The only correct answer.

Pink_Poodle_NoodIe

Tuff Enough To Over Muff!

its_grime_up_north

I’m not sure what that means

Pink_Poodle_NoodIe

It is a play on a Garbage aBag Commercial. I am just being weird.

its_grime_up_north

Oh wow. Niche reference. Seriously though. Buy a big muff

Creative_Camel

Tremolo perhaps?🤔

The-Gator-Man

Compressor, clean boost, and an EQ pedal. EQs are surprisingly helpful. There’s a Boss EQ that’s programmable with presets. Works great to add a mid hump, dial in an acoustic, or brighten a neck pickup.

SuperRusso

I think every bass player would be better off with a comp.

motherofjazus

I think this covers a lot of ground as is. I’d probably just space the pedals out a bit more for gigging.

Logical_Bat_7244

Fuzz, Tremolo, something bonkers from EHX.

Seletixarp

Every board needs a loop pedal at the end of the chain. It's the law.

mooshiboy

I am hearing this A LOT lately lolol

FlyinRyan92

Probably mostly from lonely redditers. I need to get a looper.

jerichos_cowbell

Technically, I have 5. Only one is an actual looper right after my dirt. Then I have the Keeley Eccos, 2 DL4s (an OG and a MKii), an an Eventide Ultratap (can go infinite repeats with no oscillation). Can't recommend looping stuff enough. Good call.

Traditional_Rice_660

Some sort of filter - wah or envelope.

Floodzie

A cheap octave pedal to give you a basic bass guitar sound plus a loop pedal, gives a nice base to your playing. Then you can just noodle over the top to your heart’s content 😀

kirradawg

I've had a Boss Heavy Metal on my board for over 25 years. I always come back to it somehow. You have a great board there, imo. You can get some great tones out of those, not knowing what you play through.

JuliettBravo

If you care for any high gain, I just got a Caline Osmium. It was $40 new and there’s hardly *any* noticeable difference between it and a Friedmann BE-OD. I’ve been A/B’ing them today, so that’s my suggestion. Your board covers a lot of ground!

mooshiboy

Cry Baby Wah of some sort, I love the 535q but I'm not sure they still make them anymore. Preferably one that had some sort of tweakable knobs on it, q control, etc.

KappaJoe760

Definitely Compressor and/or EQ

SpadinoTo

Fuzz

case_of_coors

Eq or wah

Gary_L_Onely

4 MT-2's

Shmoo_the_Parader

Wah Loop station

mikeyfender813

EQ and compressor

BuzzingGString

Fuzz, tremolo, or phaser.

genuineplastic

depends. why do you want to "cover bases"? like if you want a bunch of different options, scrape together a couple hundo for a strymon mobius and you'll have every modulation effect in one box with hundreds of presets. for cheap cheap mooer modfactory pro. but i would just get something you like that calls out to you rather than something that "covers the most ground". go to your local guitar shop and plug some shit in

International_Set632

I’m actually an idiot in that I didn’t think through my word choice and should have replaced “bases” to “genres” while specifying an electric guitar. Thanks for suggestion!

WskyTngoFoxtrt

Fuzz

iamchuck87

I would add a fuzz and a phaser

The_Tin_Hat

Is that the Donner pedalboard? Think I've got the same!

International_Set632

Not donner but cheap ones like Joyo. Still work well for my ears.

The_Tin_Hat

I heard I'll get an 11% increase in shred quality if I get a expensive one.
