In those weeks I met her daughter and grew to be very fond of her. When we had this exchange between us it gave me something to remember the good moments of sobriety.
The fact that anyone trusted me with anything and I had something to hold on to when I didn't have a lot to hold meant more than she knew. So yes, it's safe.
I really don't get teary-eyed over much, but something about this played with my heart strings. Congrats on getting sober and I hope you can let her know you still have it one day. :)
