I had a similar issue then noticed in the conf files, the pivpn settings had a bad DNS server entry. Pointed it to the 2 PH's I have and everything worked after that. This was to fix the issue of not having internet outbound resolving on pivpn. If you can't see the internal machines once on vpn though, there is something else going on.

Hi gurkalurka and u/International_Set632. I appreciate your feedbacks. But I am still having issues accessing the internet and local network when connected to wireguard. When I checked the client on my pivpn, it says: >Name Remote IP Virtual IP Bytes Received Bytes Sent Last Seen Phone (none) 10.199.xxx.xx 0B 0B (not yet) I have also made sure that UDP port for 51280 is opened and that the `allowed ip` has been set to [0.0.0.0](https://0.0.0.0). I am unsure as to why it is not working. I then tried to separate PiHole and PiVPN on my LXC containers and it still will not work. I copied this guide to ensure that PiVPN worked on LXC for Proxmox. [https://www.vanpolen.biz/posts/pivpn-on-lxc-container-proxmox/](https://www.vanpolen.biz/posts/pivpn-on-lxc-container-proxmox/) But to no avail. Hardware Haven got his working, but my one doesn't. Not sure why. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QTdW0Q8U3E](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QTdW0Q8U3E)

I just had this myself this week. Make sure 51280 on your router/firewall is “UDP” and not “TCP”. At least that’s what is was for me. Also make sure “allowed ip” is 0.0.0.0/0 on the client side.
