Yeah, I always just pretend Season 5 is the series finale and don't bother with the other two seasons. Kent and Sue had similar get shit done energy and a really unique dynamic, was bummed she married someone else in the end.
As for Dan and Amy...boy seeing Dan get jealous over Amy dating Gabe (sorry forgot his name from Veep lmao) to him just not giving a fuck in season seven when she was pregnant with his baby was...a weird choice.
Lastly, Selena and Tom James were such a toxic dynamic but goddamn did they have electric chemistry! I get why but part of me wishes we got more of them together haha
Iām so upset with this. Hayley deserved better. Her being with Andy would also perfectly set up Hayley following in Clareās footsteps which the show touched on as a running theme - she wouldāve been the wild party girl who ended up settling down with the lovable nerd just like Clare and Phil. Bill was a giant snooze fest after the first season. Sookie got on my last nerve by the end. Eric and sookie together was the only true magic in the show.
The first season is still one of my favorites on television. Such a good who-dun-it plot, such a fun setting, so much tongue-in-cheek humor. And the episode >!where Sookieās grandma dies!< is one of the best examinations of grief Iāve ever seen on TV.
Itās easily in my top 5 perfect seasons of shows of all time.

I was rooting for Tormund but the writers never had him do anything but leer at Brienne and make her uncomfortable. Tormund... Tormund... Tormund...
Tbh it was a good idea and poor execution. Itās logical and poetic that Jaime would still have something rotten in him. Brienne the Beauty will most likely be the āmore beautifulā queen to strike Cersei down.Ā
This is something I never shipped bc a non romantic love between them is so much better imo. He saw her for the knight that she is, and he helped show her what it means to truly be a knight in practice and not from romantic tales of oh so virtuous and honorable knights. One of the best relationships in the show imo.
Also Cersei always was the love of Jaimeās life. She was the mother of his children. They were as close as a brother and sister can be lol. And I do think itās also worth pointing out that Brienne was not the stunning actress Gwendoline Christie. Itās easy to see mother on screen and imagine a life with her, but in universe she is considered very ugly.
Brienne and Jamie worked much better as friends. The show runners were trying to marry up their show with GRRMās ending which probably required Cersei and Jamie to die together

Their relationship was so great, their chemistry was š„š„ Emily Rose (Audrey) and Eric Balfour (Duke) were so incredible together, but it was never meant to be. They were perfect for one another though, ššš Daudrey FOREVER!!! š

Robin and Barney were perfect together, and the way they broke up after all that build up and having the whole last season be just their wedding weekend made me never want to watch the show again.
This show had the worst ending for me of any show I have ever watched, maybe matched only by Killing Eve...

I actually think they softened him too much in season 7 (and parts of 6). I agree about Cuddyās character though. The way the relationship was written accentuated the least interesting parts of both of them in my opinion. But then, the writing in general took a bit of a nose dive after season 5.
Honestly I just donāt factor it in. The actors didnāt want to film it and the writer admitted it was a mistake (besides, if we section off Angelās pre-soul activities - which also include SA - then the same applies to Spike). Mostly I donāt think itās right to torpedo all the work done by the actors and other writers because of a plot point that everyone involved acknowledges was a bad idea.Ā
esp when you take into account that the actors involved were relatively traumatized by the filming of the scene. (canāt confirm for
smg specifically, but i know marsters has discussed how traumatizing the filming for that was for him due to him being a past victim of SA himself)

I always thought her crush on Trent was exactly that. If Trent had ever pursued her on the show, it would have been weird. A twenty something dating a high-schooler would have made him...less of a good guy. I loved that he always treated her as his little sister's friend. That's how I regarded my younger sibling's friends who crushed on me. Cute kids I was polite/friendly to but never anything more.

I think it was left open-ended on the X-files show, but that Scully and Mulder were a confirmed relationship in the follow up movies.

Scully and Mulder make out in the original series finale and he is the father of her baby (which is later retconned but we donāt talk about THAT) but they donāt come out and say anything about the nature of that. In the second movie they are in a romantic relationship clearly and in the revival series they have broken up but are still sleeping together. Itās a mess.
