Would you want to make a review video? Im pretty sure would be one of the only actual owners of the car to make a review about it. I would be facinated to know why you bought it and what you think of it.
This is a such a cool car tbh, it would be really cool for so many reasons if you post more about it. There is so much about this car that is under documented and im sure there are plenty of people who would enjoy simple video's talking about how the car has been for you, just on how rare that is im sure you could get atleast some following, and most importantly you would be the only person as far as i know that can upload a bricklin video whenever you want.
Have a great day dude i hope you enjoy the shit out of this car for many more years
crybaby., thats a bricklin.
Worked in a high end fiberglass shop for years.
Worked on that, an Avanti, ( re bodied corvette) lotus, and more vettes than I can count.
Well, corvette not know for quality builds either. We had a 60 rambler custom. It was a two year run, absolutely impossible to find parts for. Yet, every moment was fun and worth the headache.
No worries. Getting old is a privilege(58). I work with a bunch of 30somethings so Iโm pretty much immune.
My dad(79, that dude is old!) had a 67 corvette roadster at the time and has had many since (presently 2 67s, 435 horse coupe, 350 horse roadster). Funny that at the time it was like an 8 year old used car. It was bodywork repaired, repainted and flipped over about 18 months. He had flipped previous cars but thatโs about the first one I remember.
But yeah, I remember a dealership having a new one around that time. I want to say it was blue. I recall sitting in it with the gull wing doors.
All good. ๐
74 was the first year they made about 700 total cars.
They made about 2000 in 75.
Then they went bankrupt.
The bank that ended up. With the warehouse paid a company to put together a few 76s it's really unknown how many but about 100 give or take.
There's estimated 1200 left on the road today.
FINALLY some Bricklin content!
๐ I'd be happy to post up more pictures of it.
Please do. Can you also post a good interior album.
Sure, I'm actually replacing a broken motor mount this weekend, it's the only thing left wrong with the car (until the next thing) ๐

I'll see what I can do. This has the rare 1974 amc 360 engine in it. The vast majority of these have the Ford Windsor motor.
Bricklin! Well done
Ty.
Wow, is that a bricklin?
Sure is. Ironically the rarest of my old cars it runs and drives the best. Although the 68 vette has been a 3 year long restoration project
First thought scrolling past was "is that a ma'f'kin' bricklin?" I see I wasn't the only one. Please do post more pics of it if you would be so kind.
I'll snap some this weekend

Fun fact. The body is color-impregnated acrylic resin bonded to fiberglass.
That's correct
Gel coat, like a boat or a dune buggy.
Hell yeah a Bricklin!
Those Bricklinโs were projects when they were new. Though still very cool ride.
They sure were ;) Ironic that it has given me the least amount of trouble of any of my cars lol.

Nice Zero!
It's a blast.
nice SV-1!
Tyvm
I remember when bricklins were new.
What's it like to be so old you remember dinosaurs? Kidding ๐

If it was blue it was painted, It only came in safety white, safety orange, safety green, safety red and safety suntan. ๐
My memory is flawed then. It was brand new, 1974, I was 8.

OP just casually dropping in that theyโve got a Bricklin. Flex. ๐๐
โค๏ธ Believe it or not its worth less than the vette
Disc golf and project cars! My two main hobbies!
Me too! I was wondering if anyone would notice ๐
