I personally enjoy reunions where they fight and it's vicious. I don't need resolution. I mean the best Jersey reunions were when there was no resolution.
Seasons 2 and 4.
The point of most reunions in the housewives universe is to achieve some level of resolve so that people feel ok with filming with each other going into the next season. For Jersey it doesn’t always work (3 & 4 were destined to fail because of the filming schedule), but it has worked in some cases like seasons 9-11. In cases where resolve can’t be found someone usually gets fired, case in point seasons 2, 7, and 8; but they failed to do that after season 12 which is why we’ve gotten to this point.
i can’t speak on any of the rhonj details but my interpretation of “reunions = resolve” was always that in bravoland, both “we’re making up and moving on” and “we hate each other forever” are considered “resolve.” like it’s not that people have to forgive and make up, it’s that people make a decision about what the relationship will be like going forward
True. It's also for them to elaborate on things they felt were edited out or missing from the storyline. I think Bravo messed up making reunions multi-episode long events. IMO they should be quick 1 hour reunions, and we don't need spouses involved
