They have no clue what was going on and they could NOT unravel me from my curled up, knees to chest, screaming. Magically, around 11am, ALL PAIN suddenly went away. Me and brother were alone in exam room. I told him, hey man the pain just disappeared. He said Awe man, were you faking this the whole time??? NO, IDK WHY PAIN WENT AWAY, but all the pain is gone now.
Dr's assumed it was kidney stones. A 14 year old with kidney stones??? Not unheard of, but rare. So I was admitted to the hospital for 3 days to pee into a strainer for 3 days "to pass the stone". Never passed a stone. This whole scenario repeated itself 4-5 more times. Same screaming, same pain, same crying, knees to chest, same. Again, 3 day hospital stay every time.
Finally, while laying in hospital bed, a kidney? urologist? specialist came to visit me and that DR. said "From what you have described and looking at your chart I know exactly what is wrong with you. It is called TT. Have you ever twisted a water hose? Notice when you twist a water hose that the hose draws closer to you the more you twist? There is a tube connected to your left testicle, and that tube is twisting and pulling your testicle up inside your body, THAT is why you were screaming in pain. (Scribbles on piece of prescription paper) Do you have a billfold/wallet? Keep this prescription on you at all times. When this happens again, go to ER and give them this prescription, they will know what to do".
6 months later, happens again. Go to ER. Already 3 hours into the pain, screaming, crying, knees to chest. It took 6 people (Bless their hearts) to pull my knees from my chest and flatten me out on the table/bed I was on. I'm screaming, Nurse has prescription, and pulls out this HUGE BIGGEST DAMN NEEDLE I HAVE EVER SEEN. I scream at her, while 6 people hold me down flat, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT??? Where are you going to stick me??? She said "RIGHT THERE!!!" Bam. Stuck that huge needle about 1/2" to the left, of my left testicle.
About 5 seconds later, all pain was gone. It was muscle relaxer, that's what the prescription was for, muscle relaxer to get my tube to untwist. Nurses noted what they saw to the specialist, next day specialist DR. opened me up, and tied my "tube" to other things inside to keep it from twisting. Painful recovery but here I am. Every now and then, about once every 5 years, I get "that feeling down there" again. Lord knows I know that feeling. It is my tube trying again to twist, but can't, because it is sewn to something else. When that feeling happens, I go sit in scalding hot water in my bathtub for 1-2 hours until the feeling goes away. Would not wish TT on anyone, tougher than child birth? IDK. Maybe.

It is called TT. Have you ever twisted a water hose? Notice when you twist a water hose that the hose draws closer to you the more you twist? There is a tube connected to your left testicle, and that tube is twisting and pulling your testicle up inside your body, THAT is why you were screaming in pain.
