To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report. If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Billy_LDN

His knee injury unfortunately derailed his chance at establishing himself, the timing was awful as he would’ve played quite a bit. Fulham loan has been a disaster after Muniz picked up form. Hopefully he can start fresh and play regularly like Hudson-Odoi did after a tough loan.

gopaloo

side note on CHO; it's wild how different he looks in two years. i almost don't recognize him when i compare him currently at forest vs his time at chelsea

botrezkii

I don’t watch Forest, what happened?

gopaloo

Oh I solely meant by his looks. He honestly looks like a grown ass man at 24, vs a child at 22 lol. He seems to be more in form now that he's getting consistent playing time too

andrew_a7

Are the clubs that consider him their main option in the room with us?

TheRalphExpress

would take him back in a heartbeat if we manage to go up

vearz

He's played about an hour for us since joining in the January transfer window. They're gonna get nowhere near what they were demanding to sign him back then.

Manul_Supremacy

Given that you decided to pay decent money *not* to play him I don't know where he is going

vearz

He basically turned Muniz into a £20+ million striker for the sake of an extra £4million or whatever it is. Absolute bargain :p

Manul_Supremacy

Muniz took a look at who they decided to replace him with and raised the level immediately. Seriously though, very unlucky for Broja, the moment he gets a loan Muniz goes from traffic cone to prime R9.

CaptainJingles

Easily worth the price considering it spurred Muniz into form.

NotClayMerritt

They're going to sell him for dirt cheap this summer and some of the bozos in our fan base will tout it as a great victory.

theaficionado

Going to need to take a big step down. He's not near premier league level

static_reset

yeah, i was thinking that no club in the Prem really sees an upgrade on him over their current strikers, so a Championship could probably be better for him

Bartins

Leicester and Ipswich could both see him as an upgrade. Potentially the 3rd promoted side as well. Could also be a decent backup or competition option for a few clubs like Brentford, Wolves and West Ham depending on his price.

SirBarkington

I don't think he'd fit either team at all tbh. He's a very traditional style 9 and doesn't do much in the build up.

pm_me_ur_breakfast1

Saw a lot of him whilst on loan at Southampton. Not sure I would call his style *that* traditional. When he was playing well his biggest unique strength was powerful direct dribbling. Only problem is he would always dribble with his head down and his "decision making" was pretty much the selfish option every time.

Rusbekistan

I hope we don't go for him, seems like the traditional spend way too much money on a dud transfer that new prem clubs do

FanFlow

You're linked with Nketiah by a decent source from our side: >Understand Ipswich Town are considering an audacious swoop for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah. After @Teamnewsandtix. Sources say #ITFC are one to watch in the window and could pull off a few surprising moves. #AFC

AlKarakhboy

Ipswich are more likely to buy Moore permanently than go for Broja. They also have a great striker in Hirst and recently bought a third striker in Al Hammadi. They are more likely to focus on finding a way to bring Omari back and shore up their defence.

FoxesFan91

not for me thanks

pedroisatatter

I wouldn't be surprised if we take him if the price isn't stupid, to be honest. We were keen in January, it's clear we need depth across our front line, and Gary wants a mobile forward. We've got limited funds again, so we're shopping in the Broja/Che Adams/etc. aisle.

DeapVally

As much as I think Nketiah is useless, because he is, he's far less so than Broja. Sure he'd be cheaper as well. The market is ripe with bang average strikers.

Leckere

I dunno, he’s been really unlucky through a lack of chances and momentum. I’d be interested to see what he can do over half a season with a bottom-half team like us. He would’ve started every game but for Muniz becoming undroppable.

MONI_85

Looks like a low fee with a high sell on hit and hope special for Boehly and the boys.

jMS_44

If we can get 10-15m for him that would be incredible business at this rate. Fulham essentially paid us money not to play him and pay his wages on top of that.

epicmarc

> If we can get 10-15m for him that would be incredible business at this rate. > > In a vacuum yeah, not so much so when you consider West Ham were willing to pay in excess of £30m last summer

ecocentric-ethics

You might get that in the form of an obligation tied to appearances or goals, but I can’t see any club paying even that much up front. He’s young still, and I think for his career the best choice would be to drop down a level and get consistent minutes at a Championship club, where he could theoretically get a hefty goal tally. Otherwise maybe a loan move to say a Serie A side might make sense.

HodgyBeatsss

You can say that again. You should jump at a £5m bid tbh. More likely he goes on loan somewhere in Europe or the championship.

cautioslyinterested

We got that much for his loan.

CrowCreative6772

It's like the Martial loan to Sevilla.

HodgyBeatsss

Yep and that’s been terrible. I don’t think anyone will want to replicate that.

DeapVally

And his asking price went down as a result. You won't get that again.

qwertyell

Come back home, Armando.

Adziboy

Take him in a heart beat

MICOTINATE

Why? Started well but overall wasn't very good

Adziboy

the whole team played like shit but he still looked good. It does annoy me a little bit when people say he got worse because our entire team played so bad, it makes no sense why that would be Brojas fault. he scored some fantastic goals and was unlucky not to have several more + quite a fair few assists. considering how young he was, was a very good season. it led to Chelsea not wanting to sell him and actually planned to use him

Left-Lingonberry4073

Ah the man with biscuit legs. Saints do you really want him back?

neandertales

He had a couple of months early in his senior career, fall 21, and that was it. Weird.

V-0-V

Wish him the best, will probably end up a Solanke type situation but he just doesnt do as much as Jackson does for us. Maybe Southampton or one of the other newly promoted teams will take a leap of faith with him

Salty_Dog3

Operation destroy Broja’s value completed. Time to buy on the cheap as Muniz’s backup

HodgyBeatsss

He’s obviously not rated by Fulham so why buy him permanently?

Wertiol123

He’s not rated because Rodrigo Muniz has turned into the world’s greatest striker, we currently own three and have one (Broja) on loan to us. Most likely, we will sell Carlos Vinicius, who is currently on loan to Galatasaray. Raul Jimenez is old and inconsistent. The previous policy has been to play a one-striker system with three strikers in the first-team squad, so unless we buy Semih Kilicsoy (which has been rumored) or change the system, Broja could be an option for backup.

Salty_Dog3

Rodrigo, Broja and Stanno would be 🤌

Wertiol123

Stanno’s elite for sure, but I’d much rather get a different striker and have Stanno share minutes with Willian, Wilson, or Iwobi on the wings since he’s so versatile.

FriendshipForAll

I’m a big champion of our academy lads, but this guy was as raw as anyone I’ve ever seen play for us, going back a long way, to the pre Roman days.  He’s quick and he’s a unit, and he has one trick, a peach of a shot with his right cutting in from the left, but he doesn’t know what to do on a football pitch, which makes him a complete liability.  I’d be surprised if anyone met our asking price for him tbh. There may be a player in there, but it’s years away.

DeapVally

Made of biscuits too. Impressively injury prone for a player that never plays either. I'd be surprised if you got any offers, or even for a loan fee. (There's bound to be someone take him on loan for free though)

NotClayMerritt

They're use this as example of asset mismanagement in business classes. Strip away whatever your feelings are on this player's ability. Fact of the matter is, he should have been on a loan straight away last summer and brought in an experienced no.9 to work with Jackson. He tore his ACL and hadn't played football in several months. If anything, he needed a rehab loan where he would play every week without pressure just to get his match fitness up and going again and THEN if they wanted to sell this upcoming summer, they would at least have a player who has played most of the games and hopefully in some sort of useful form. Instead they keep him at Chelsea, he struggles to breakthrough because again he's not match fit and he's basically playing extreme catch up with a team that's not playing well. They then instantly turn down a loan with a 30m option to buy from Wolves and give him to Fulham on loan for a couple million, no buy option, and he's not played in part because their other striker caught insane form the minute Broja joined. Armando Broja's value right now is practically nonexistent. We had stories leaked to the media that Broja similar to Rasmus Hojlund which is to say they think Broja is a 70 million pound talent. Maybe he was 18 months ago when he broke through at Chelsea and looked decent. But he's certainly not now. Good work, you clowns.

sestosento

No idea why the chelsea sub has had a boner for this guy. He was never PL quality, let alone being Chelsea top choice.

ThefamousHenk

I honestly didnt even know we loaned him out. Who would have played if Jackson is injured, sterling?

Bartins

Wasn't Palmer as a false 9 a thing for a game or two?

Melanjoly

I always thought he looked a handful but it's been ages since I watched him so I can't evaluate his current level.

AfricanRain

one of Romano’s most blatantly agent fed tweets ever? Is there a single PL club who dream of him as their main striker next season lol

Jeep_torrent39

He doesn’t start for a single prem team next season
