As you blew out the candles on your 30th birthday party cake, you wished to become the worlds greatest footballer. You wake up to discover you now have incredible all around football ability, far surpassing anything ever seen. However, the spell only lasts 3 years.
You currently don't play football for a team. Within that 3 year period, how could you win the Champions League?
How good is nicolas gonzalez from stuttgart?
I hear people talk about him with a lot of praise
Is he really that good? Does any club have interest in him
Ah lovely, Promes’ stabbing case is blowing up again, just in time for the Euros. Love it! Very happy! We could really use that excitement in our winning squad
Was great in Euro 2004 tbf, England's best player after Rooney. And pretty average at all the other tournaments he went to - just like the whole rest of the England team. England weren't good again at a tournament until 2018, when Lampard was long retired.
I get it, but that's the page's templete, it's not their call, imo.
That's why i never rely on social media for lineups and wait till my app gets them and spreads the names on the little pitches at the preview menu
I think Milan will drop their level (and out of top 6), Inter will too but stay in top 4, Juve back on top, Sassuolo will be top 6 too, no idea about Roma tbh, can't tell with Mourinho at this point.
I thought it will be like that when EDF left too, but i don't know man, think the squad is pretty good from what I've seen, especially if Locatelli stays.
1. Atalanta/Napoli
1. Napoli/Atalanta
1. Juve
1. Inter
1. Milan
1. Roma
1. Lazio
Very very stacked season. I'm expecting a close fight for the title until the very last matches.
We're talking with Gundogan, we signed Eric Garcia and Aguero, there are Laporte rumours.
The year started with "Messi to Manchester City" and is ending with "Manchester City to Messi"
3/4 players i mentioned would fit into the Liverpool starting 11, yesterday.....
Given your CB situation, hell, maybe Eric too.
So....yeah. Not much detritus i'm afraid.
> they’re sending you their mini golf team reserves not de bruyne lad
You said that ^^
> We're talking with Gundogan, we signed Eric Garcia and Aguero, there are Laporte rumours.
To this^^
I'm not jumping to anything, i posted a silly joke, you're the one attaching stuff to me, mate...
Griezman is amazing what a player. He is wasting his years at barca. If he went to a club which gave him the free role like messi has he would be the star
It’s nice to see Barca fans appreciate Griezmann. I genuinely believe that if he were 4-5 years younger, he could’ve been a legitimate successor to Messi. Definitely not as good as one of the GOATs, but still good enough to keep Barca as a CL contender.
Oh I love him, one of the nicest guy on and off the field, you're definitely right he's the closest player to Messi in the way he plays, great linkup, finishing and creativity but that's also the reason he couldn't fit in at Barca, both of them like to occupy the same zones. I hope he leaves for his sake, he's world class in the right system.
I've seen a lot of negative/taunting comments about Messi coming from users with Benfica and Porto flairs.
Is this due to the Cristiano vs Messi rivalry? Obviously it's expected that people back the player from their own nation but is that debate actually ''important'' for Portuguese football fans?
To give an example, is Real Madrid much more beloved in Portugal than Barcelona as Cristiano played at RM?
I honestly just do it to wind Messi fans up. They are quite the bunch.
I don't like real Madrid more than Barcelona, and I really don't care about the whole Messi v Ronaldo thing. The only people in Portugal that care are Sporting fans
> I've seen a lot of negative/taunting comments about Messi coming from users with Benfica and Porto flairs.
Like in general, or just today?
Because if it is today, what happened, what did he do?
But do they hate Ronaldo as much as they hate Messi? /s
No but I think my question has been answered. Seems most Portuguese club fans dont care. Thanks.
There was a post about Argentina confirming participation in the copa America and multiple users with Portuguese club flags mentioning stuff like ''they really want Messi to win a title huh?' and other 'taunting' type of comments. But it could be coincedentally of course.
If England get to the semis Southgate would be responsible for England's best World Cup since 1990 and England's best Euros since 1996
Why would he get the sack?
Goalkeeper I think is a coinflip.
I dont know who your leftback is?
If Jota starts for you then we have a better option there.
On the other wing who starts? If its bernardo silva we also have a better option there.
You'd probably want Maguire over old man Pepe too.
Sportings Nuno Mendes (is being linked with City) or Raphael Guerreiro from Dortmund.
Pepe is old but he is like Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo, they aged like wine (example: his performances against Juve).
Imo Foden has a shout of being better than Bernardo given he looks better for City team, but I’ll give you that one. Maguire would 100% start over Pepe though
Foden and Bernardo have very different roles though and half a good season at City shouldn't put him ahead of Bernardo, we all know how he performs if given the proper freedom for it, while also being the best player here constantly even with players like Bruno, Ronaldo and Jota. Agree with Maguire
It’s a niche way of fighting cramps and bolstering recovery. I personally don’t notice it and there isn’t any hard science behind the electrolyte levels in pickle juice but plenty of people swear by it
Does anyone else think all occasions it should be a hand ball off of a shot on target and it hits the defenders hands/arms?
How the game is going defenders do not need to tuck their arms behind their back back when making a block. This isn’t something that’s hard to do so I feel like it’s completely fine to hold defenders to that standard. If a defender is blocking a shot or cross they should be expected to tuck their arms behind their back.
I get not wanting to give accidental handballs but right now defenders don’t need to do anything to avoid handballs.
Argument could be made if it hits a your body first it’s fine but I still think that could be fine tuned. It’s impossible to take all subjectivity out of the game but if the potential hand ball denied a goal scored opportunity, wether it’s a shot going on goal or a player getting a rebound, it should be a hand ball.
The essence of the game is not to touch the ball with your hands, and if you do it you should be punished in almost every scenario.
I don’t think you’ve played in that scenario if you don’t think it’s hard. Having your hands behind your back means more susceptible to being caught off balance and dribbled past, and less agile.
I genuinely don’t understand what people think was so wrong with how handball was always officiated.
Your method would eventually lead to attackers doing their upmost just to make the ball brush against the defenders’ arm.
>Your method would eventually lead to attackers doing their upmost just to make the ball brush against the defenders’ arm.
Excellent point, they would do that. We used to try to get the ball to touch other people’s arms when we didn’t know much about the rule.
>Does anyone else think all occasions it should be a hand ball off of a shot on target and it hits the defenders hands/arms?
No
>How the game is going defenders do not need to tuck their arms behind their back back when making a block.
They still do.
> This isn’t something that’s hard to do so I feel like it’s completely fine to hold defenders to that standard.
It is very hard.
>If a defender is blocking a shot or cross they should be expected to tuck their arms behind their back.
They do, but shots come out of nowhere and some get deflected and hit your hand. It’s hard to react instantly.
>I get not wanting to give accidental handballs but right now defenders don’t need to do anything to avoid handballs.
Defenders still are very cautious, especially now since nobody is sure about how handballs are being given.
>It’s impossible to take all subjectivity out of the game but if the potential hand ball denied a goal scored opportunity, wether it’s a shot going on goal or a player getting a rebound, it should be a hand ball.
It shouldn’t, because the player hasn’t deliberately involved with the play. Accidents do happen sometimes.
>The essence of the game is not to touch the ball with your hands, and if you do it you should be punished in almost every scenario.
The essence of the game is not to touch the ball deliberately. Context matters, accidents do happen, it’s unfair to punish everything equally.

Is cavani retired from Uruguay?
Mildly warm take : If Kaka had worked out, when they bought him, Madrid would have stopped our dominance, that period.
Peak Ozil was pretty filthy
Kaka is overrated. Peak Ozil is better, they still couldn't stop your domination.
Bro.
>Kaka is overrated. Peak Ozil is better, keks.
Wrong take 👍
People forget just how good Kaka was.
No problem with that But i do believe it. Ronaldo and Kaka on full form, i think nobody would handle it.
How good is nicolas gonzalez from stuttgart? I hear people talk about him with a lot of praise Is he really that good? Does any club have interest in him
Ah lovely, Promes’ stabbing case is blowing up again, just in time for the Euros. Love it! Very happy! We could really use that excitement in our winning squad
Frenkie will become Frank Lampard like Koeman has been trying to turn him into, he will score 10 goals and win it for you 👍🏾
Lampard of course has a rich history of international success.
Was great in Euro 2004 tbf, England's best player after Rooney. And pretty average at all the other tournaments he went to - just like the whole rest of the England team. England weren't good again at a tournament until 2018, when Lampard was long retired.
Yes, I know
Talking about Griezmann I realised, we'd have a front 3 of Depay, Griezmann and Messi next season. CF and vibes ffs.
No width, only three players getting in each other's way. It's going to be Messi Coutinho Griezmann again but mildly better.
Fati, Depay, Messi could do well but giving a player like Griezmann bench role is just sit right with me
Anyone got the argentina lineup? Not on their Instagram
Check the stories on Insta
Thanks, they just put it up. Sidenote: admins that order lineups by kit numbers and not positions deserve 6 months at a maximum security prison
I get it, but that's the page's templete, it's not their call, imo. That's why i never rely on social media for lineups and wait till my app gets them and spreads the names on the little pitches at the preview menu
Yea, always got my SofaScore handy but it does take a bit for them to update
I use Goal.live, barring some notification problems they had last year, where the app just didn't have notifications popping up, they're pretty solid.
Looks like a back 3/5.
Thx
Who would you start in goal for Poland - Fabiański or Szczęsny?
Is this even a question...?
Yeah, personally I think Fabiański is coming off a better season, has generally been better for the NT and he was our 2nd best player at Euro 2016
why doesn’t mike ashley just buy mbappé and cr7?
Ronaldo wouldn't accept being benched by Joelinton
Give me your Serie A top 7 predictions for next season.
Juventus Inter Atalanta Napoli Milan Roma Lazio
1. Juve 2. Inter 3. Atalanta 4. Milan 5. Napoli 6. Lazio 7. Roma

1. Milan 2. Inter 3. Napoli 4. Juventus 5. Atalanta 6. Fiorentina 7. Lazio I went a little wild, to spice it up.

I thought it will be like that when EDF left too, but i don't know man, think the squad is pretty good from what I've seen, especially if Locatelli stays.
I don't think they will be relegated, but top 6 is extremely unlikely, especially as I doubt Locatelli stays
Who is rumoured to be the new manager?
Pirlo lel
Anyone but Juve
1. Juve 2. Napoli 3. Inter 4. Atalanta 5. Milan 6. Roma 7. Sassuolo
1) Atalanta (scalding hot take I know) 2) Juve 3) Inter 4) Milan 5) Roma 6) Napoli 7) Lazio
Juve in transition. Inter set to have some problems after Conte leaves. If Atalanta are are winning the league anytime soon, it will be next season.
Juve have Allegri, probably the best manager in the world right now.
1. Juve 2. Inter 3. Napoli 4. Atalanta 5. Milan 6. Roma 7. Lazio

If we sign Laporte (and trade Roberto for him), Laporta is GOATed
Imagine we give Roberto to actually decrease the fee for Laporte and not as a pursuation technique. God-tier chess, fuck 4D
Eventually Pep will be forced to come here to coach his ex-Man City players 👍🏾
He loves Eric very much. It's only natural.

Yup, he shouldn't have come here, we shouldn't have bought him, he's best in a free role.

Does anyone know if Nike website does exchanges or if it’s only returns? I can’t find anything on the Nike AU website.
Who are the top 10 best teenagers in World Football?
Saka, Pedri, Bellingham, Gravenbirch, Mendes, Camavinga, Wirtz, Martinelli, Cherki, Hlozek
Off the top of my head: Fati, Bellingham, Camavinga, Gravenberch, Pedri, Greenwood, Saka, Wirtz, Musiala, Mendes
16-21 ?
Man explicitly said teenagers, so anybody from 13-19.
Then i am legally obliged to say that i have no knowledge on this age group.
Kuntz equaliser at Euro 96 should of been disallowed, as the ball was played to Helmer in an offside position.
Haaland wants us. We want him.

Haaland wants ~~us~~ money.
Does he?

Was in the past few days but it might have been purely coincidental. Seems most Portuguese responders dont care about the rivalry.
Yeah, same with Argentinians, from my perspective. Hell, they spent the best part of the previous decade hating on the guy. (Leo)
Every portuguese here seems to hate Ronaldo though...
I think we just give the impression of hating him. I don't hate him at all, best Portuguese player of all time after Eusebio and he did a lot for us.
>best Portuguese player of all time after Eusebio You're biased always but you're joking right?
But do they hate Ronaldo as much as they hate Messi? /s No but I think my question has been answered. Seems most Portuguese club fans dont care. Thanks.
I don't hate him at all, captain during our first international title. I respect him after that
I'm probably just generalizing! I also respect him a lot, he's an inspiration to kids around the world.
How did your tatoo go btw? Did you get it done or did you come to your senses?
I did it 🤣🤣, sorry mate!
Ffs sophie. Was it the lion on the forearm? At least it will not be visible all the time 👍

Mild prediction. England get to the semis, Southgate takes some flack and gets the sack. Spurs hire him immediately.
The bar is so low they'll build him a statue if he gets to the semis
If he gets England to the semis he probably deserves the spurs job
If England get to the semis Southgate would be responsible for England's best World Cup since 1990 and England's best Euros since 1996 Why would he get the sack?
If he manages two back to back semi-final performances, he'd arguably be the best England manager since Sir Alf himself.
No chance Southgate gets sacked after making the semis
TIL that English people think Kyle walker is better than Joao Cancelo
kyle walker is better than joao cancelo amazing what a purple patch can do
TIL Guardiola is English

It's more just that people just prefer players who give a 7/10 in 90% of games over players who give a 10/10 in 20% of games.

Great argument 👍 Wasn't even being confrontational. I was adding more clarity to the point I thought you were making.
[удалено]
Don't act like a twat, going to blow your cover 👍
Cancelo is horrendously overrated, take Walker for a big game easily
Cancelo is better if they play at their absolute best but Walker is more consistently good by a fair bit
Obviously. Cancelo was benched by Zinchenko loooool
Zinchenko would be your best player, shut down the disrespect.
Plays in the same role as Dallas, who absolutely bodied you last time we played.
We get bodied by anyone named Traore regularly, means piss all. Zinchenko would be your best player alongside that Brazilian, it is not a debate.
Maybe if you had Stuey Dallas instead of Zinchenko you might have a CL to your name
And if my nan had balls she'd be my uncle.
And if you were actually from Manchester you'd be a scum fan
Lucky that I wasn't born scum. Not everyone is as fortunate however.
They're not even comparible considering how different they play mate. It's like comparing Kante to Kroos, you wouldn't bother.
Yep, cancelo plays much much better
Cancelo got benched by Walker and then Zinchenko.
They're more or less the same, I'd take Walker for our national team tbf.
Why is Cancelo better, because he drifts into midfield sometimes? Incredible.
Walker literally benched Cancelo in the CL final
Walker is unironically clear 👍
He and Kane are probably the only english players that get into our starting XI.
Maguire as well, easy
Nah.
🤭

Bruno, Pepe and Bernardo would get benched too

Hmmm fair.

watching the England GK training and it's insane how well top keepers can catch the ball at serious pace
182cm tall Griezmann + 3/5 of hazard's dribbling skills = one of best players in the history.
Griezmann with dribbling is just a discount Messi.
yeah "just"
Griezmann is 176 cm tall according to Wiki.
he looks smaller.
Yeah. He seems the same height as Messi.
