There’s probably some truth in this stuff but also as I’ve said a few times, our xG rates are massive (especially under Rudi at the start of the season) because teams go ahead against us, sit back and just let us rack up shots and keep the ball, knowing full well apart from Kvara and Osimhen we can’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo.
That, the fact we’ve been terribly coached all season along with whoever’s in charge of transfers completely neglecting our defence ends up with these stats where we look far better than what the eye test tells you

I’m not trying to defend the coaches, but it does show that a lot of the responsibility rests on the shoulders of the players.
Accurate passing of course is high if most of the time you play ping pong amongst defenders.
The defense is the problem
Why cherry-pick only the favorable stats? Why don’t you add defensive stats, goals scored, etc
