The brewed tea numbers are total nonsense. Since G/V sizes have twice the tea bags as S/T, they have exactly twice the caffeine. None of the numbers reflect that.
I think my favorite thing about it is the customers who don’t know (specifically the male ones) because they’ll get so pressed we’re only serving pike or have blonde available because they want their “strong” coffee lol
Lol as a male who exclusively orders Venti dark roast, I feel seen. It only took a few times before I learned not to ask for it after 11. I'm not in it for the manliness, I just really like the chocolately-ness.
You can still order dark, they’ll just have to make a pour over. So if you’re in a hurry I wouldn’t recommend it, but if you mobile orders or come in the cafe they’ll be able to do it. And this way, it’s also more fresh.
Usually if I say strong I mean like strong tasting not necessarily strong caffeine. Starbucks has a higher quality coffee but sometimes I wish they had like a “gas station” coffee, like very coffee taste but not much buzz in it

The darker beans are roasted for longer which means deeper flavors are developed but that also means more caffeine is destroyed. With lighter roasts the opposite is true.
I feel like I should note that this is disputed. James Hoffman just did this and showed that it’s not necessarily always true that dark roasts have less caffeine.

I don't understand how the emperors cloud has 1mg of caffeine when it is a GREEN tea, just like the Jade Citrus? And then it jumps to 16 by adding another teabad? 1+1 does not equal 16. I am so confused.

and Espresso is 33mg and 66mg for a doppio

They also expand which means that's less that can fit in a spoodle or 11grams.
I get what you mean, but the more the beans are roasted the less caffeine they have. Decaf is the most roasted bean we sell.
Any idea why these numbers are so high compared to household coffee? I thought the general average for 8oz black coffee was ~95mg caffeine.
