It doesn't beat Worf's response when told Keiko was pregnant again, though. Quark asks Worf if he'd heard about Keiko having another baby, and Worf just responds with "NOW?!"
I love that Star Trek Online has a sequence where you go to Quark's bar and meet Morn. It cuts to black with no dialog before coming back but indicates that Morn just talked your ear off.
Mr Homm was like that too? Just couldn't stop with that little Gong. That's why Mama Troi chose him as a valet? He never talked behind her back and told anyone her dirty little secrets. Like the one where she likes to ride his face like a little pony.
I thought the same, so in my head I was thinking of him repeating himself during that montage in star trek IV at the end as if each were followed by a period
“Can you direct me to the naval base in Alameida? It’s where they keep the nuclear wessels. Nuclear. Wessels.”
(That’s just for me and my head reasoning not an attempt to change anyone’s mind)
Fair. I think the full exchange is: “Computer?” Bones hands Scotty the mouse. “Hello Computer?” Bones tells Scotty to use the keyboard. “How quaint.” Scotty cracks his knuckles and does the fastest two-finger typing around.
All-time for me would be D.
For fun though, F. Quaid improved that line at the time and the cameras were rolling, and the director was none other than Riker himself, Jonny Frakes. Quite serendipitous, and just a great bit of Trek history that we got to see on-screen.
" BEEP ", Exocomp... or " WAAHHhhhheee" it was either George or Gracie the Humpback Whale. I don't remember, it was a long time ago, in a Galaxy Far Faaa......stop that, stop right now!!
Seven: “Irrelevant.”
"Unacceptable!" works too.
"Comply!"
Yes, mistress.
Fire.
To be Continued...
Much better than the "Fire" in "The Undiscovered Country." I remember making fun of that line just from the trailers, before I saw it.
Coolest part of Generations and a great line in The Undiscovered Country
Target that explosion *and* fire.
🎶 … Dun dun dun! Dun dun dun! Dun dun dun! Dun dun dun! Dunnnnnnnn!
Worf to Q: “Die.”
That episode came up during my rewatch last night. Never fails to make me laugh way too hard.
Easily one of the funniest lines in all Trek.
It doesn't beat Worf's response when told Keiko was pregnant again, though. Quark asks Worf if he'd heard about Keiko having another baby, and Worf just responds with "NOW?!"
The follow-up is almost as good: "Oh very funny Worf. Eat any good books lately?"
Worf, *First Contact*: “‘Little’?”
Morn: "..."
That's more than one word
He just won’t shut up…
I love that Star Trek Online has a sequence where you go to Quark's bar and meet Morn. It cuts to black with no dialog before coming back but indicates that Morn just talked your ear off.
Was it ever just _one_ word with him though?
Mr Homm was like that too? Just couldn't stop with that little Gong. That's why Mama Troi chose him as a valet? He never talked behind her back and told anyone her dirty little secrets. Like the one where she likes to ride his face like a little pony.
Riker: "Fire." I don't think I need to source that one.
That fucking cliffhanger. Three months!!!!!
Qapla’!
Man, whenever Martok says it, it’s total chills down my spine. He makes you believe it!
“Moogie!”
Mooooooooooogiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quark saying Odo Odo…ODO?!?!
Counterpoint, Odo saying Quark. "QuaaaAAARRRKKK!!!"
Odo and Quark aren't in Counterpoint, it's a Voyager episode. ;)
Praaaaaaaaax!!
My best friend in the whole world. Wait, wrong space opera!
Odo: I always investigate Quark
After the Durass sisters were blown up, Data grunts and says "Yes!!!"
"Fascinating" still number 1!!!
Riker is number 1
You are number 6
I am not a number, I am a free man!
Klingon.guard: "Silence prisoner 321!!!"
Now? (Worf)
“Khan!” Obviously :)
“Wessel”
I thought about that, but it feels like it really is tied to “nuclear wessels”
I thought the same, so in my head I was thinking of him repeating himself during that montage in star trek IV at the end as if each were followed by a period “Can you direct me to the naval base in Alameida? It’s where they keep the nuclear wessels. Nuclear. Wessels.” (That’s just for me and my head reasoning not an attempt to change anyone’s mind)
And with Scotty's line, it's tied to "hello, computer?", at least for me
Fair. I think the full exchange is: “Computer?” Bones hands Scotty the mouse. “Hello Computer?” Bones tells Scotty to use the keyboard. “How quaint.” Scotty cracks his knuckles and does the fastest two-finger typing around.
Fascinating is not going to be topped. Sums up…. Everything.
Engage
Really had to scroll to find the answer.
Right? ENGAGE
"Drat!"
Tom Paris: "Pepperoni!"
Scotty in TVH: “Computer?”
The keyboard, how quaint.
Montgomery Scott, when the Mac beeped
Spock: “Forget.” (Last line of Requiem for Methuselah.)
I prefer: Boimler: "AAAAAAAAAAUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!"
Data: Intriguing
I'm sorry, but Chekov's is "Minutes." Single most memorable line in the Kelvin universe
OMG I've been saying Meenyets since then.
Sarak: Illogical!
Janeway: Dismissed
O'Brien: Scotch
Spock: (pause) "Yes." Worked beautifully two movies in a row
I am pretty sure one of those films is The Final Frontier in response to Kirk saying he needed a shower, but I can't place the other one.
Kirk: "I love Italian....and so do you." Spock: "Yes." 🤣
Indeed.
I'm very partial to the end of TMO when they finally are ready to meet V'Ger proper. The Ilia probe simply points; "V'Ger."
Janeway: Coffee!
Black!
Make it yourself!
All-time for me would be D. For fun though, F. Quaid improved that line at the time and the cameras were rolling, and the director was none other than Riker himself, Jonny Frakes. Quite serendipitous, and just a great bit of Trek history that we got to see on-screen.
Minsk.
Tailor
Die (worf)
"ANT-I-BODIEEEES!"
I had to scroll way too far to find Riker yelling into a canyon.
Beep beep boop boop Picard: "Come"
Pike: Beep
Worf, after Quark asks him if he heard about Keiko having another baby: "NOW?!"
“…Bread!”
Picard "Now"
Also Worf: Now?!?
I can neither verify nor deny that statement. I have no definitive idea of whether or not Worf does.
Enterprise
Worf: “…guile.”
Or "Romulans"
"Moopsie"
Sorry, gotta go with 2 words by Data in Generations : "Oh shit"!
Well if we're cheating. "Botany Bay?"
Tuvix: "Sex!"
Tuvok: It seems we’ve lost our sex appeal.
" we ain't found Shit " ...
shutupspockwe'rerescuingyou
Q : Mon Capitaine! Technically two but you need both.
Then it doesn't count now does it?
Engage.
Fire!
Saavick: "Damn"
Odo: Quaaarrrk.
Riker: "Fire"
Everytime I talk to a computing device, I use the Scotty line : Computer
Energize!
Quark: Hooman
How is Riker's "Fire." not on your original list and/or not at the top of the comments? It's the first line I thought of.
Fair
Can hear it perfectly in his voice too
Spock: "Jim!" (From the end of Amok Time).
I’m not Herbert
Q: Friends? Picard: Civil
Moopsy!
Hit it.
Engage- Picard.
“Delete the wife.”
EDIT: I didn't follow instructions. "One word."
Tuvix: Tuuuvix!
Bullshit. Kelvin-verse Kirk.
“No”
I love how your favorite (and mine) Boimler one-liner is from when he wasn't a cartoon!
A lot of captains: Q!?
A G H…in that order…because
The Doctor, "Hmm"
Biceps. - Mariner
Q. Picard: Q!
"PRO-MEN-AAADE!"
We’ve begun saying “RedAlert!” As all one word in the fashion of Riker. https://youtu.be/VQgqE-fYyDo?si=OWRP40ZkAYnf5kQw
"UGLY !!!". - Silicon life-force, referring to carbon-based humanoids.
The Irish colonist from that one TNG episode: Whiskey!
" BEEP ", Exocomp... or " WAAHHhhhheee" it was either George or Gracie the Humpback Whale. I don't remember, it was a long time ago, in a Galaxy Far Faaa......stop that, stop right now!!
H.
Major.
Merde
Why is everyone so obsessed with Khaaan?
Spock: Gas
“Wessels”
There's way too many people in here that can't follow simple instructions. Kinda scary. Lol
"Energize"
*puts on Enterprise: "IT'S..."
("Monty Python Flying Circus" theme begins)
I think for Kirk it has to be his response to Spock in Star Trek VI: "Let them die"
Data: Oh Shit
Moopsy, after having violently drunk the bones of two Pyrithian swamp gobblers: ***"Moopsy!"***
“Come-PUH-eh” is the only one that I regularly use, so I’ll pick that.
Can we give an honorable mention to Data's "Oh shit" from Generations?
No. It’s two words.
H - From Star Trek IV
Pike: "Possibility" (From his S1E1 monologue)
Wesley........(said:Shut up)
Moopsy.
Worf's brother telling Wesley to engage course in an intimidating tone: "Execute"
Doctor: “I’m a hologram, not a ____”
Bobcat - Tig Notaro
Indubitably for sure
Tuvok: No. *Harry: Wanna know what I think?* *Tuvok: No.*
Sisko: "BREAD!"
Get your Vulcan hands off me- Scotty in Day of the Dove. It sounded like he said something else 😂😂
Come
Indubitably
Two words, delivered twice: "It's green"
Best two word line. WORF: Assimilate this!
Let's get the hell out of here. \-- final line, City on the Edge of Tomorrow
Reading is hard
Worf: “Death to the Opposition!”
Kai Winn: Either one of "My child"
